"Looks like this is the Kr. Project," Kid Flash said, stepping ahead to the device and examining the glass jar.

"Indeed," Robin replied, looking at the large 'Kr' letters on the front of the jar. "I wouldn't have guessed if you hadn't said anything."

Ignoring Kid Flash's resentful gaze, Robin tapped a few spots on the control panel, causing the mist obscuring the glass jar to dissipate, revealing its contents. Several lights converged on the glass jar, finally allowing everyone to see the true nature of the Kr. Project.

Aqualad, who had just kicked through some metal construction material, walked over. Noticing his companions' silence, he felt puzzled. He was about to ask what was wrong when he spotted something amiss.

Due to the spotlights, the laboratory was incredibly bright. Because of this, everyone's shadows were clearly visible. Aqualad noticed that there was an extra shadow beside everyone else’s.

Aqualad's pupils contracted. He drew his water-bearer from behind, and a cyan light emanated from his arm as a stream of water gathered above the water-bearer, forming a whip.

"Careful!" Aqualad shouted, lashing the whip towards his companions while warning them.

Before they could understand what was happening, Aqualad's water whip pulled them aside. At the same time, several deep claw marks appeared on the ground where they had been standing.

"What was that?" Wally exclaimed, rolling to his feet. Robin and Speedy also regained their footing and immediately drew their weapons.

"There's an invisible enemy," Aqualad stated his conclusion. The extra shadow and the suddenly appearing claw marks were evidence to support his deduction.

Upon hearing Aqualad's words, Robin immediately activated the thermal imager on his cowl, looking around and spotting a heat source on the ceiling.

'There!' Robin transmitted the location of the heat source to the others through their mental link. Immediately, various attacks converged on that spot.

Aqualad lashed out with his water whip, Speedy shot arrows, and Robin threw batarangs. Only Kid Flash, lacking a ranged attack, could only stare helplessly.

"Boom!"

The ceiling cracked under the barrage of attacks, but Robin, with his thermal imager, knew their attacks had missed.

"Thud."

A crisp sound rang out, indicating something had landed. Robin turned his head and saw the invisible heat source.

The others followed Robin's gaze and saw the shadow on the ground. Before they could attack, a Genomorph appeared before them.

The Genomorph in front of them looked similar to the one who used telekinesis earlier, except that it was more robust, with thicker horns. Its hands were like those of the razor-edged Genomorph. It seemed like an amalgamation of all the Genomorphs except for the giant one.

The young heroes realized that this Genomorph was likely the ultimate creation, which was why it possessed the characteristics of other Genomorphs. They wondered if this Genomorph, like the white-suited Genomorph, could speak and communicate.

"Looks like the other guy is confident," Roy said, drawing an arrow and aiming at the poised special Genomorph. A major battle was imminent.

"Open this damn door!" the Doctor commanded his subordinates. "We can't let them be alone with the weapon for too long!"

"We're trying," the Guardian replied stiffly.

Ignoring the Guardian, who was just an ordinary human, the Doctor turned to the white-suited Genomorph and said, "Try using your telekinesis!"

"I already tried," the white-suited Genomorph replied, his horns glowing red. "But it's no use. The security door is beyond my control."

"Useless! You're all useless!" the Doctor stamped his foot forcefully. "Get the giant Genomorphs over here. Have them use brute force to open the security door."

"They're already on their way," the Guardian answered.

The Doctor's eyes darted around, and he said, "Awaken the Kr. Weapon! Let it eliminate those little rats for me."

"But Doctor," the Guardian stopped the Doctor's command. "The Kr. Weapon is too dangerous. They're just children. There's no need to make such a fuss, right? Besides, the O Weapon is in there too. It should be able to catch those kids."

"O Weapon?" The Doctor frowned, looking puzzled. "What's that? I've never heard of such a thing."

The white-suited Genomorph's eyes narrowed, and the small Genomorph on the Doctor's shoulder immediately had its horns glow red. The Doctor's pupils dilated for a moment, but quickly returned to normal.
