"How is that thing doing now?"

Black Manta asked his adjutant, who manipulated a tablet before answering.

"Everything is normal. It shows no signs of reviving."

Black Manta nodded, instructing, "Keep a close watch on its condition. After all, it's an extraterrestrial being. None of us knows if it can come back to life."

"Understood." Receiving the order, the adjutant immediately relayed it to the guards of the storage room via the tablet.

It was a burly man wearing armor that resembled scales, holding a golden trident. Upon closer inspection, one could see water currents swirling around him, as if the ocean itself was protecting him.

"It's Aquaman," one of the subordinates swallowed, looking terrified.

"Black Manta!"

Aquaman was furious, raising the trident in his hand and pointing it directly at the massive underwater submarine. Those who saw this scene through the camera couldn't help but turn their heads away; the trident was simply too sharp to look at directly.

"Come out and face me! I will grant you a warrior's death, this is my final act of kindness to you."

Faced with Aquaman's challenge, Black Manta calmly looked at his adjutant.

"Release the shark."
