Chapter 1: “EXTRA life” Part 1
The famous GL romance fantasy novel told the story of the Solmaria Kingdom—a land ruled by women, where men were often overlooked.
Yet even so, the novel showed that men and women could still walk side by side as equals.
The story followed the first princess and a slave named Siya.
Together, they protected the world.
[They attended the academy and military]
[Stopped wars.]
[Defeated a vampire lord.]
[Helped witches.]
[Solved crises in the holy city.]
[Saved the World Tree.]
They experienced arcs filled with happiness and tragedy alike.
Through it all, they never left each other’s side.
That was the tale of the GL novel.
A boy with black hair and purple eyes sat quietly on the stone edge of a mansion pond, holding a fishing rod and waiting patiently.
<Seriously… the author really cursed this world.>
<And one of those curses is me??.>
He was the third son of House Deon—an illegitimate child born from the Duchess and her husband.
The Duke, once a respected war hero, had lost a hand on the battlefield and with it, his worth.
Loneliness had pushed the Duke close to one of the Maid in this mansion.
From that union, he had been born.
Though not exactly he.
He had only possessed this body a week ago.
In his past life, he had been an ordinary man who died on a hospital bed from HLHS—a congenital heart condition.
He had lived barely twenty-five years, enduring endless three surgeries, lonely nights, and the pitying gazes of others.
People called him pathetic.
He hated those eyes.
His family had supported him, but something inside him had always rejected that life.
Illness had taken too much from him. In the end, the only escape he had found was through stories—anime, manhwa, and GL novels.
And now—He was here.
In this world.
In someone else’s body.
Behind him stood another boy of the same age.
Blond hair. Blue eyes. A sword resting at his waist His posture was straight, his presence calm and alert.
“Master,” the boy said, his voice steady.
“This is the mansion pond. You can catch anything here.”
“I told you,” Noir replied quietly, eyes fixed on the water. “I can catch fish we just need to wait”
“I know,” the boy answered, expression unreadable. “But… please try to understand if anyone find out we both get in trouble”
He paused, then spoke formally.
<Elric Vane. Noir’s personal guard of noir and the Shadow and also the part of house Deon family the villainous family>
Noir stared into the pond, silently counting the fish swimming beneath the surface.
<There are so many…I could catch dozens of things >
<And ……my memory is Still not clear i only remember the novel my past life name my parents nothing else only the novel………>
“Master, please,” Elric urged softly. “Let’s return before anyone sees us.”
“No need to worry,” Noir replied.
“No one comes to the west wing and all Maid already left”
The mansion pond of House Deon west wing
House Deon—the villainous family that opposed the royal family—had once stood at the peak of power.
In the original novel, the entire family had been executed after the Duchess attempted to murder the princess and the empress.
“They were branded traitors And now, I was part of the villainous family.Which meant I, too, was fated to die.”Cold, focused stare at the pond and fish speaking in a low voice only he can hear.
<That wasn’t the only problem.I was engaged.To someone I had never met.>
<Elric only knew that the girl had yellow hair Perhaps she was just an extra character. Still, marrying her next year… it was unexpected, to say the least.>
And then there was the biggest issue of all.
He had no talent.
Magic? None.
Swordsmanship? Zero.
In a world filled with elves, dragons, witches, and miracles, he was—
“Useless ,Good–for–nothing ”
<It took him six full years to finish reading>
[My Heart Belongs to You.]
Suddenly, the fishing rod twitched.
Noir pulled instinctively.
A small goldfish flopped onto the stone with a wet sound he put fish in a water bucket
He turned and looked at Elric.
“I told you,” Noir said calmly. “We caught something.”
Elric let out a quiet sigh, the tension leaving his shoulders.
“That’s good.”
Then, with clear relief in his voice,
“Now… can we return to the mansion before anyone sees us?”
Both of them returned to the mansion.
The goldfish swam quietly inside the bucket of water.
Elric remained tense, as he had been all week.
Ever since his master started wandering around the mansion and asking strange questions—about the Duchess, about the house, even about Elric when they both know each other since childhood
Elric himself—something felt wrong.
“Noir had always been quiet and disciplined. Calm. Good.”
He never did anything reckless…
but now—
<Something feels off maybe he just found out the reason to Live again>
“Master,” Elric asked carefully, “are you planning to eat the fish?”
“I strongly suggest you drop that idea.”
Noir froze.
“What? You mean” He turned slowly, shocked. “Eat it? No… I just thought I’d keep the fish.”
Elric blinked.
“If you wanted a pet… why didn’t you ask me first?”
They both stared at the fish in silence.
“Master,” Elric said at last, “you just kidnapped a small fish from the mansion pond.”
“Do you really have no respect for me?” Noir asked, frowning.
“I do,” Elric replied seriously. “But this is different.”
“what different”he say slowly
Later, they sat inside Noir’s luxurious room in the west wing.
It was empty.
The maid had come in earlier, cleaned everything, and left without saying a word.
Normally, Noir had been shy, timid, and obedient.
He barely spoke. He didn’t even understand what the word dominating meant.
Elric stood near the door, watching his master quietly.
<What exactly happened to him?>
Noir used to be restless in a different way. He read until his nose bled.
He trained endlessly.
He tried everything—magic, swordsmanship, aura—anything that might change his fate.
<Was he finally trying to escape this house… this cage? Is that' why he changed in few days well he was researching something >
Noir stared at the fish.
“What should we name her? Elric” he asked.
Elric flinched.
“W-What? How can you say that so casually? She’s a female fish!”
“Because. It’s just a fish,” Noir said shamelessly.
“That doesn’t make sense,” Elric muttered. “How about… ‘Spooky’?”
Noir blinked.
“Spooky? Seriously?”
“Please,” noir sighed,
“never name your child like that after marriage. I already feel bad for your future kid.”
“What’s wrong with my naming sense?” elric protested.
“Spooky is fine! Name by the way”
Elric gave up.
“No… let’s call her Celi,” Noir decided.
Elric sighed again.
“Master,” Elric said after a pause, “can I go to training now?”
“Yeah. Go ahead,” Noir replied casually.
Elric turned toward the door,
then noir added,
“By the way… I told your ex everything you said behind her back.”
“I have no ex… idiot master” Elric shouted Then he slammed the door shut.
Noir chuckled.
“You know, Celi… our Elric is pretty popular,” he said, talking to the fish.
Celi didn’t mind.
Noir stretched and stepped onto the balcony.
From there, he could see the east wing, where his brother and sister lived.
Beyond that stood another building, and at the center of the estate lay a garden—the place where the Duchess and Duke stayed with his mother.
After discovering him, the Duchess had made his mother the second lady.
No power.
No authority.
Publicly, they cooperated.
But what happened behind closed doors…No idea.
<I can’t even meet her without permission even though she is my mother in this world>
“What a miserable life.”
House Deon’s pride was built on one rule:
“Never bow down to anyone. Not even the royal or god and stand proud”
Their crest—a snake wrapped around a sword—symbolized defiance.
Only 2 duchies supported the royal family.
In five
House Deon was not one of them.
That was why, when the princess acted against House Deon, the Duchess made a fatal mistake.
She chose resistance. She became a traitor.
And the entire family was executed.
“It’s hard to say who was truly right or wrong…”
Noir lifted his gaze to the sky.
<I need to find the “CUBE” before my engagement so I can do something>
The real Noir had been engaged to a girl he never met. Yellow hair. Only mentioned briefly in a diary.
Noir had taken that diary.
If anyone read it, they would discover the real Noir’s grief… and his despair.
“He wanted to escape and change himself like me”
Noir smiled faintly.
<I don’t know where the real Noir is now. But I’ll live his life I’ll handle everything for him.>
“So just rest in peace because everything in the world is about ego and desire ”
Back inside the room, Noir looked at Celi.
“Let’s eat,” he said calmly.
He picked up the fish pot and left the room.
