The Earth of mist ch10&11
Chapter 10
Mary watches Christine become distracted for the first time at work, but they seem not to know anything yet. She feels guilty because she doesn't recognize her voice If she does, she will tell her the truth and end up. Yes, she has been in love with Glipper for a while, but she hasn't started a relationship until after he broke up with her and she hasn't cheated. Christine should know the truth one day. She has told Mary Gilbert many times to talk to Christine about how he feels now, so it's better to know the truth than to live a lie with him.
That morning when he left, Christine couldn't stand it anymore. At first she decided to go and drink a little bit, she needed to regain her calm, too, she didn't understand Gilbert's departure. She thought he'd still be in the place after all. Christine had good ideas for developing the place. She believed she would develop the place for something bigger and might realize her dream of becoming a brand within five years. As for the pressure of work, everyone was infected by Covid-19, and it is not because of her. The Gilber meeting that night was a coincidence, even though she knew that he used to drink in that place. Maybe she wanted to see him.
He stepped up to sit next to her in front of the waiter. He said, How is she? MM: She's not fine. Gilbert: She needed this to wake up from a dream.
MM: But it's not Christine's fault, and you shouldn't let her go with the first problem. Gilbert's overreacting: You know nothing, I've been involved with her for years, but that's enough. I've wasted enough time.
There are dreams that Christine's dreams still don't want to confess. That night, Mary went with Gilbert in the morning, and when she awoke, he was still in deep sleep. She felt guilty when she remembered Christine, and when she prepared for the encounter, she was living in another, even more strange world.
Peter stands puzzled again, still in his mind last night. He wants to scream to tell someone an unknown killed a girl yesterday. He tried to teach her not to come, but she did 't understand
She came to her death, yelled at him for mercy, but the mysterious man drugged her to a private place before he could get rid of the body.
Peter knows he has become an accomplice to all of this even though he doesn't understand. He decides to understand to exonerate himself.
If he had saved the woman yesterday, the mystery man would have taken revenge and killed little Dina and Majid.
Peter felt vulnerable when he decided to go and see his mother in the hospital. Peter hates the hospital and at 10 he ran down the hospital hallway at night looking for his father.
The mother was collapsed no one could talk to her. Peter thought his mother went crazy because she said his father was dead. Eventually, a nurse told her he was in the operating room. He remembers the first time he saw his father without his right foot.
Peter's mother rarely cooked at home and became hungry for the most part until he stole food for the first time. Before food can fearlessly taste the food of Sarah, his second mother. Although Peter's father managed to own his own business, he never forgave Peter, because he believed that Peter had lost his right foot.
Peter stood in front of his mother's room, watching her very weak, surrounded by a tube that fed her body. He was relieved when his father was not there. The nurse finished her work and left the room Peter approached his mother. She thought he could save her from his father, but he failed everything. Peter knew that his mother was the first failure of his life before he failed to draw and love. Peter's mother opened her eyes and just looked at him. She said, Peter, where have you been all this time?
Peter: I was at work. She knows he's lying. M. PETER: Your father will be coming shortly. Smile PETER: So I have to go and I will come to see you again. I promise
Christen took a long shower, like she wanted to get rid of that passing kiss with that weird neighbor.
She looked herself in the mirror to make sure she was too clean. She watched the scarifying marks she had made on her body; she bit her lips because she had stopped hurting herself a long time ago; she put moisturizer on the scarifying marks and frightened the pain so that Mary wouldn't know about it. Maybe if Mary knew, she decided to leave too
Christine headed into the kitchen, starving, and found her favorite gliber still in place.
She ate an apple and sat down to eat it off. She remembered Father's Day was near and she had to work out the restaurant quickly before she saw it. He should not feel that she was a loser and that Dr. Maureen was right
Don't stop thinking about Dr. Maureen now that Gleber's gone. She can't let herself be with that neighbor Peter. She remembers Christine the last time Maureen visited her, telling her she wanted her best, but she made the wrong choice and she will bear the consequences. She understood Maureen's signal then. Christine doesn't know why Peter kissed her on his couch so passionately, but just because she helped him a couple of times would have ended this early.
She started scratching again. She prepared her favorite food, even though it was Glaber's. Mary returns from the outside and watches her prepare Gleber's favorite dish and becomes jealous and sad about Christine. She thought, "Why don't you forget about Glaber and find her another good man?" Glaber anyway has stopped thinking about her.
Since 9, Christine has loved cooking, and she thought she'd be the best chef.
It was exciting for her to learn a new recipe and prepare it for dinner.
Her father was her first taster. Christine was keen to observe her features to see if she liked food, but unfortunately Maureen refrained from certain food items. Christine felt a new barrier had been set up with her mother
Chapter 11
Dr. Maureen was able to I.D. the new victim. Bailey presents the report to Jason trying to look normal, although this is the first time Dr. Maureen has stated to everyone that her relationship with Jason is not well. She no longer prefers to talk to him directly and the partnership is over.
Jason will now have to do the hard part of his job, which is to talk to the new victim's parents. It began when Jason watched the collapsed mother as the father sat next to her in disbelief that images he saw of a girl being tortured and dismembered were his only daughter. Try not to cry and act as much as possible to hold on to Jason.
It was not only meeting the victim's parents that made Jason feel uncomfortable, but also because Dr. Maureen discovered a match between the victim's fingerprints and the ones they had access to to identify an unidentified local bank robber. His theft was widely discussed on television after he killed two bank employees and fled.
Jason watched a popular TV show showing the latest interesting details about the identity of the famous bank robber, who turned out to be a 30-year-old woman who was creating different personalities and assuming different identities. She managed to rob local banks in several cities, but unfortunately killed two bank employees, only two days later.
Jason and Bailey met with the chief supervisors and administrators as well, both of whom had interrogated her not long before about a room robbery, and eventually she was acquitted. After several months, she disappeared from work and lost contact. Jason was uncomfortable with the superior because of suggestions about the victim.
Jason spotted a skinny, tired girl whose intuition told him to talk to her, but gently so he could relieve her fear.
She recoiled as Jason approached her, and he quickly said, There's no need to be afraid. We just want to know who did this to Selma. From the start of his career, Jason has distinguished himself by his intuition, although the evidence is based on proof, but his intuition has always been his best guide. He didn't overstep his intuition in his field, but he certainly didn't work as well in his family. Maybe that's why Jason feels angry at himself. And though in the midst of a case that seems to carry many surprises, he hasn't forgotten that Father's Day is approaching. It's the only day he feels Christine still loves him.
Christine, on the other hand, regained her senses and went to check out what the restaurant needed to buy, made her calls but didn't expect her father Jason to come at that moment. It was still next week for Father's Day. She used to bring a cake for that occasion, but never eats it with her father, and sends it to him with a birthday card.
Jason and since he saw the victim, her father mentions Christine. When she left, he thought of all the evil he saw in the world, killing, depraving, rapists. Every time a new body was brought in, he had moments of nerves, like the corpse being his little Christine. He always wanted to protect her and stand with her against any threat. In the past, the idea of marrying and having children was discarded by the nature of his work and the life of danger. At any moment, he would kill in the line of duty the fate of his family in that situation. Maureen, too, refused to marry until she met Jason, and it took them six years to decide to get married and have children
Kristen was uncomfortable with Jason visiting her without an appointment at the time. He said he wanted to stop by to have his coffee with her because it was so delicious. Jason wanted to apologize for misreading a sentence he had unintentionally said but causing her to leave forever. He knew, but he couldn't talk about it honestly with her.
Christine was nine years old, like any child who rejoiced in playing and drawing, but her teacher seemed to have a different opinion. She met Maureen and Jason. Everyone thinks Christine is not around to hear
Christine heard Maureen talking in anger about Christine's educational level, while Jason contended there was something wrong. Christine is a very smart girl. Christine hasn't forgotten that Jason was defending Maureen, why he didn't say it doesn't matter Christine is a smart girl and not a defense in front of the teacher. Does Jason think she's not good enough that's why Christine's never-ending pain is so bad?
Christine served coffee to Jason, who sat at a table by the window watching the road. He became distracted and she served him coffee. And she sat sipping her coffee. Christine was relieved because it was so early and Jason probably wouldn't notice the customer level dropping. Fortunately, he didn't ask her about Glaber because she doesn't want to talk, especially to Jason.
Jason finds out that it's very difficult because he has known all about Christine for years. But he doesn't tell her so that she won't be hurt. He's afraid that something will happen to her, that a pervert may one day think of getting back at him by hurting her so he won't let her get hurt. But he can't confront her to ask about his shocking discovery about what happened in the past.
The interview would have ended quietly if Peter had not entered, although he sat away, but his looks at Christine did not make Jason comfortable, and he almost asked her about it, but a phone call made him leave in a hurry.
Peter was too confused to know what was going on with him, but he piqued her when he looked into her eyes with such hope. The mind told her she must not allow him any more in her life, but there was something in her that prevented her. She had read about fate she had always wanted to be sure that she was on the right path in any way. She thought about telling him about her trip after the accident to enlighten him, but quickly regained herself and could not speak to a stranger like that.
Christine first notices a gaze of deep sorrow at Peter. He keeps looking around like he's waiting for an attack.
This was a dream. Peter decided it couldn't really have done this. He lured the girl and drugged her for that lunatic. He woke up this morning tired, he started vomiting, he got dizzy. It must have been a dream or a nightmare. When he watched the news broadcast completely destroyed, they couldn't say the girl was a hotel worker. The famous anchorwoman hosted her parents. Peter watched as the sad mother looked very much like his mother, and even the girl's father looked much like his father. He may have been cruel to his daughter, but he loved her. The father said that she had worked a lot, loved her work, and dreamed of traveling, buying a house, and marrying her cousin. It's not true what the police say is a bank robber. The father attacked the interrogators so violently that they blamed his daughter's death on her footsteps as if they did not want to do their job of revealing the truth. She promises that the father who killed his daughter will retaliate. Peter collapses watching the father's angry gazes.
Peter remembers the first time his father punishes him after losing his right foot. Sarah's mother has his second mother after fighting with his father. Peter's father decides that it is time to punish Peter. Close his eyes to forget what happened every time he remembers it.
Christine thought Peter was just a lonely man. For three years, living in his apartment alone, he must have felt very lonely. But she is not ready for another relationship after what Glaber did, and at the same time she has a grudge against him for having forgotten about her so quickly, and now he's with another girl as if he's forgotten what happened in the past.
For months, Peter has not driven a car. Confused, he avoid any driving, and now finds himself on the way to Selma's parents' house.
Peter thought he had gone completely insane: Will he go to apologize to the mother of the girl who really killed him? Can he tell her the truth about the unknown man who forced him to do it or Dina will kill the woman he loves and her little girl? For the first time Peter decides to fight for something he loves even if he has to kill. No, he cannot talk to Selma's parents about the truth. Peter rushed back to his car. But Salma's father had already seen him approaching and he went out towards him. Peter had to stop and said, Sir, look for a person named Farouk here, do you know him? Salma's father suspected him and Farouk, the owner of the auto shop, Farouk a dentist. Peter was relieved to find a way out and said, Oh, yes, look for the auto shop. Peter doesn't know how he survived that stupid situation because his guilt almost destroyed everything.
He doesn't remember much about what happened, how he met her again, how sad she was, how he woke up to find her. Christine is not waking up yet and Peter decides to stay calm and wait for her to wake up as he tries to remember how this miracle happened to him.
Yesterday Peter drank without feeling guilty for drinking, but found her there.
Hearing knocking, he got up nervous, unfamiliar with a sudden visit from someone, but surprised to find Dina in front of him that very morning. Dina also stood up confused and said, We've tried to call you several times since yesterday. Are you okay? Peter's silence felt something bad had happened. Peter thought the bad news would be his mother. But Dina held Peter's hand and said, calmly, your father is dead, Peter
Peter was supposed to feel sad but, on the contrary, very relieved. Dina thought Peter was shocked to get him water. Dina was shocked to see Christine, who also stood in shock watching what was happening.
At the end, she said, Hi, I'm Christine, I'm his neighbor, Peter. Dina stood up and said, Hi, I'm Dina, Peter's cousin. Dina quickly went back in the water to Peter. Dina said, The funeral will be at the church, you have to come and don't worry about your mother. I'll tell Maged you're okay. Dina looked at Christine in a clumsy jealousy, and Christine met her with a challenge before she got up and left. Christine went ahead and sat next to Peter, and she said, I'm sorry, Peter said, I'm hungry. I'm very hungry.
Christine dated cheeseburgers that Peter loved so much. She watched Peter eat the sandwiches with a delicious appetite.
The funeral service in Peter's father's church had begun. When Peter entered late, while his mother sat next to her and Dina gave her water, Christine first entered Peter's and his father's church and noticed that she was a little different from the one she was going to with her father as a child, while Dr. Maureen was not a believer. Peter felt surprised when they saw Christine.
The funeral prayer for Sammy, Peter's father, ended quickly, and the funeral was over, according to his church. Peter approached his mother and found that she had become a stranger living in another world and did not know who had died. Dina quietly told Peter, The doctor said she was stable. Peter knows his mother has Alzheimer's disease, but he doesn't believe she's already forgotten everything. He thinks it's called oblivion.
He almost walked away, but his hand caught him. He looked at the old woman, who looked very weak but still looked hard. She was his paternal grandmother. Peter thought she had traveled to her town forever and would never come back.
He stunned for a moment when he found her at the funeral of her only son whom he loved even though he was no good to her. Peter quickly pulled his hand away from her, reminding him for a moment of what she did to him as a child. How his grandmother told him that there was another child he was growing up, Peter's older brother, and that because of his mother's interest he could not take care of his brother and the older brother left. Peter knew that story, but he did not understand how he had been the reason his older brother had left
That day no one was more comfortable than Majid when he saw Christine with Peter at the funeral of Peter's father. Majid first ran into him, then hid his smile, and finally years later he would begin to feel comfortable. Although Majid is Majid's only friend, Peter also knows that Peter loved Dina and that he still has feelings for her. He wakes up at night to watch Dina sleep next to him to rest. After having the girls, Majid felt that he had a family that nothing could destroy. Dina's interest in Peter always annoyed Maged, yet Maged concealed his jealousy of Peter
