Attack from Gabriella
Panicking, we all began to take cover under the sturdiest places. We went back into the stage, hiding below it. As the rubble settles, Ms. Smyers immediately calls for backup to help us swim out of the three storeyed building that collapsed.
I was honestly in shock, but having Aaron and his team here made me feel a little less scared. He held me close to his chest, whispering and talking everything to calm me down. He knows I've been through shit, that I had a chance of relapsing into my PTSD. I had to prevent that and take any measures possible.
Soon enough, we were fished out of the depths. There was enough air trapped for us to breathe for fifteen minutes. I was glad we were alive.
But then Gary was found dead.
He was soulessly crushed by the debris and I felt bad for the family. I turn to look at Aaron who's lost all sense of morality against his cousin.
"Don't look at it. Come on. Gabriella and John are still alive." I say to Aaron, to get him moving.
We check the nearby buildings. This place wasn't particularly in the middle of the city. It was almost towards the outskirts and kept the trafficking business going too.
There was just too much shit to handle about John now. In the span of only two years, John Skiez grew into a notorious mafia and a criminal. There was nothing to be proud of him.
He was a blemish to the Skiez family, I'd say.
I'm sure Sir Timothy, Aaron's father would be disappointed with his own brother doing such a thing.
"Did you find them?" Asks Aaron to Ms. Smyers who gives a negative answer.
"But we might have a clue out there, boss. She usually visited a building too often. I'll check it out with my team." Said Ms. Smyers.

MS. SMYERS' POV
We take permission for inspection from the local police. We begin to tear this place up, in hopes to find this bitch.
Ugh, I can't believe I missed out on the details!
Gabriella took training under an ex-military lieutenant in this area. He's one of the men I looked up to. Sadly, he was murdered in cold blood by Gabriella herself, to cover up for the details he knew about her.
This woman was too careful, I thought.
I should have checked everything throughly.
I went into the basement, finding it connected to the building that exploded just now. The strip club was brought down to bits, but it's internal tunnel system was still oddly functional.
My heart began to beat inside my chest like a freaking marathon.
Two of my men were behind me as I took the lead. I held a heat signature sensor in my hand. I also had several poison darts within my gear. I just need to find that witch.
Out of the blue, in the darkness, my men were shot in their heads.
I widen my eyes and take cover behind the small pillar to escape from the gun shots.
"You bitch! You killed my family!" Gabriella yells.
Oh yeah? What happened to the 'family' when you stole from boss's father? That was very familial of them.
I scoff and use my shiny surface to figure out where the person was.
She almost blows my hand off, several gun shots were fired and we realized we were quickly out of ammunition.
I hear her running away, it seemed like a bigger space, connecting serval tunnels. Shit! I can't miss her right now! It's our golden opportunity!
I couldn't spare the time to take a gun from my partner's pocket, to use as defense.
I begin chasing the woman without a gun.
Taki the poison darts, I hold them precisely in my fists while they poked out of my finger gaps.
I just have to stab these into her.
As I reached for her back, I quickly come to discover she wore a vest.
However, my fist colliding with her body made her lose pace and balance as she falls and scrapes her palms and knees.
She turns to look at me, deeming me as her arch nemesis.
"Ms. Smyers, huh?" I keep my fighting stance. I raise an eyebrow, she knows my name.
"One of the best female detectives, eh? You're not getting anything out of this. You're only a mercenary." She says as I coo at her.
"Aw, don't be jelly now because you couldn't become a better detective. With your lifestyle and your family, you're nothing better than a criminal. Bitch." I enrage her.
She charges at me like a bull, lifting me off the ground by tackling my waist. Before I could comprehend, she knocks me out against the wall and throws me to the ground. I could feel my body burst at the impact, but I gained control again.
Fuck, that hurt!
If it wasn't for my own vest, I would have sustained more damage.
I get back on my knees. I try to pull her down but she kicks my hand, then my stomach which sends me flying to the other corner. I cough up blood. She's pretty good.
But I know I'm better than this.
Gathering the remainder of my energy, I stand up to squeeze my fist tight and punch her down to the ground.
I straddle her waist immediately, pushing three darts into her neck as she screamed. I could see the stream of blood flow once she removed them by shaking them off her neck.
What is she?
She's not even human at this point.
Her ugly, swollen face distracted me as I thought about a vengeance seeking beast.
In the brief moment, she punches my nose as I was defeated.
She kicks me several times, before running for her life.
I was too close to going unconscious.
I have to call my team to rescue me.
Because... I could feel a dart being punctured into my thigh through the fit of her kicks...
