Hating Prince Rhys
Morning arrives. I was forced into a beautiful golden and white gown with a flare as Aaron was requested to stay out of this.
But he being the protective man he was for me takes things into his own hands. Or rather shoves a little device in my palm.
"I love you." Kissing my cheek, he says. He smirks as I inspect the device slightly. I must hide this somewhere in my bigass gown.
A royal chariot and the chauffeur come to a halt near the palace gates. I enter and release my tension by sitting on the softest couch I've ever sat on in my life.
To be thinking the Prince sent me these...
Many confectionaries, gold ornaments and several girly things were sent. I've seen them arrive in tons while I stood there waiting for the chariot. Somewhere inside me, I thought the Prince has changed.
But...
I was wrong.
Several hours later, the city past the border was theirs.
The capital stood side by side of the states.
The horses were tired beyond imagination. I ask them to send me by car or other means several times, but the chauffeur cries that their King will behead them.
Wow. The King hasn't changed I see.
The horses neigh gallantly while I jump down the open chariot.
"Hello, hello princess! Remember me?" My eyes widen by the appearance of the male.
He's... changed.
He's grown into a tall, muscular man who could crush several men at once.
"Hello, Prince Rhys. I am forced to stay with you for several days before I'm allowed to go back to my kingdom. Unfortunately, I wasn't given another choice." He laughs with disgusting self-pleasure.
He bends down to my ear, whispering cunningly.
"Remember my promise to you, Ravine. You slapped me when we were young. I was kind enough not to pass the word and behead you the same night in my kingdom." He says, my eyes widening.
"Now," he disgustingly runs his hands through my hair, pulling out a tuft of hair and placing it beside my face, "You're in my Kingdom again. As your future husband, I will ruin your life in the worst way you can ever imagine." Saying, he kisses my cheek. I was scared and draw my face away from him.
Realising he was still in public, he fake smiles at the cameras and invites me inside.
Soon, he was undressing himself right in the middle of the court room. There were several other men who see him, not saying a word.
With only his underwear, he changes into his other gear. By the leather and soiled clothes, I must think it is for his combat training.
"Come, princess Ravine. Let me show you how powerful I am." Says the male. I reckon his request, however, I was assisted by three buff looking men as they take me through the grey bricked corridors.
Walking inside, there was an open space. I remember it as the playground, but it has now turned all into dust. There were no signs of trees any longer. Only muscular men who were training alongside the Prince.
"Your majesty..." the minister bows to him, and indeed me. I remember his face briefly.
"Where is the king? I haven't seen him yet." I say.
"You're looking right at him, princess Ravine." He replies with pride, wearing his gloves and helmet.
"Where...?" I begin to glance around. Suddenly, he grabs my chin and makes me look at him, "Stare at the right direction, Princess."
Saying, he adjusts the crotch guard as a flood of memories wash over me. I shiver in thought, but it seems he wanted exactly that. To make me shudder in memory and remind myself who was more powerful at the moment, in his wicked kingdom.
"Watch me, princess. Watch me as I grow stronger than your boyfriend." As he pronounces his name, his teeth clutter together in unreasonable anger. The whole world knows that Rhys doesn't deserve my love, Aaron does.
Walking aback, I see Rhys immediately commence the teams to battle. It was a 1v1, one against the other to see who shall hail as the winner.
Rhys easily defeated three of them.
He wasn't showing off.
He was taking them down with his own power. I take a deep breath in an look at the fallen guards in training. They were grunting in pain.
Was Rhys showing me how powerful he truly is?
Or was he taking any steroids to give a show to a princess like me? Thinking it will impress?
If it is the latter cause, he's an utter fool.
Under no circumstance will I allow myself to be falling for a downtrodden person like Rhys.
I've come here because I wanted to see the progress in the kingdom.
I'm sad to know there was none.
What do I do?
Shall I take pity on the citizens and do something extra? Shall I truly become the queen on this state and reign over it? I can poison this man and take over as the queen, hail as long as I live and let the next best leader become the King or Queen after I'm gone.
A million thoughts run in my head as I shake my head to the sides.
Half an hour passes. Rhys makes the announcer scream his lungs out to put a halt to the training.
It was beginning to pass dusk.
"How was it, love?"
"Love?" I raise my eyebrow.
"You have to become comfortable with me since you shall become my queen, princess." I begin to laugh at his words. His face suggests me that he wasn't half as amused as I was.
"What makes you think I will become your Queen, Rhys?" I dare ask the King himself.
The minister stationed behind him widens his eyes.
"You treat women worse than slaves here! Give your mindset a change, then we'll talk." Saying, I scramble on my feet and begin to run away.
