Mom invasion
Author's POV
The two were stranded on their big bed. Mr. Skiez was rightfully holding onto his future wife whilst the woman was sweating profusely because of the 'hot' man clinging onto her.
Whistling in discomfort, Ravine wakes herself up from a weird dream and sees Aaron all over her. The silk sheets were no help either, the air con and fan were switched off on top of that.
"Move... away..." she applies all her morning force to move the bear off of herself, he doesn't budge an inch.
"Huh...?" He stirs himself awake, his dragged and questioning tone of voice making her raise an eyebrow.
"You're so weird in the morning." Commenting of the man who goes back to sleep right away, drowning in his own sweat, Ravine tries to access the fans and switch on the air con.
*Tring Tring!~*
Ravine, still half asleep looks at the door as if she could see the guest.
"Ugh, who is coming over now...?" She asks herself as she grabs the man's robe from before, the size was definitely above her, it slung from her shoulders duly.
The bells keeps ringing, making Ravine lose her temper a tad bit, "Coming!" She yells from the steps. She tries not to slip and tumble to her decrease, she successfully climbs down the stairs.
"Charlie, please fuck off—" suddenly, Charlie looked a lot shorter and grew out hair from his head. Even his lips were distinctively redder than normal. Beside him, Gerroto was shorter and frail too.
"What the hell..." Ravine wasn't wearing her spectacles. (SHIZ I almost always forget Ravine has specs lmao)
"Um... I'm Aaron's mother if you recognise?" As the voice says, Ravine jumps back in shock and starts apologizing repeatedly.
"I'm sorry! I'm so sorry Aunt Helena! Jeez, I'm so sorry! Please come in!" Saying, the woman pleads the elder woman to come. Beside her was one of her maids who travelled with her. Old age has definitely got to Mrs. Skiez, she needed medicines and assistants to provide her with medicines from time to time.
However, the woman was still rocking in a cute bob cut which often pushes Ravine to get one too. It's only about time when she decides to Cho off all her beautifully grown, mid-waist length silky brown hair.
That was a lot of description.
Anyway, the two women converse over the topics for breakfast which Aaron's mom brought over for them. Ravine only realizes then that Aaron and herself slept through brunch time, almost into afternoon. No wonder it was scorching and burning them in a slow cooker.
"Ravine~ Who's there?" After half an hour or so, Aaron appears out of the room like a primitive caveman. Bed hair, sleep stripes all over his body and red, and no robe to cover even an inch of his skin.
As the three ladies look at the man against the corridor railing, the caretaker of Mrs. Skiez screams at the male.
"Oh shi— you stole my robe!" Exclaiming, the man runs back into the room and comes out after brushing his teeth and all.
"Mom!!" Skipping one, two steps in leaps, the man runs down the stairs to embrace his mother to his heart.
"Aw, I missed you too, big baby. I was here two weeks before too, wasn't I?"
"It's different when you're here always, mom. Anyway, what's for lunch?"
"It was supposed to be breakfast but it's fine. Here." The couple chuckle at each other as Aaron gives Ravine her spectacles, knowing the lazy woman won't walk all the way upstairs to fetch them for herself.
It was 2 in the evening when Aaron suggested they went to a park or something similar. So they did. A few people recognised them and disrupted their privacy and family time, but Aaron personally was too delighted today for the pesty paparazzi and decent fans.
Well, Ravine made sure no one took her photos and post it anywhere on the internet. If they did, it was fine too. But only for today.
"Ha~" Stretching on the chair, the man-cat Aaron announces that he has some work to attend, as he couldn't go to his office today.
Walking back home, the three see the caretaker and an unknown person on the table beside the front porch. An umbrella was opened and they could see it over the medium-high fence.
The chattering died down when the gates were opened.
Ravine takes off her sunglasses and puts on her normal glasses, squinting to see who it was.
"Mom...?" The Queen of Eulandia came over to visit her daughter in New York...
"What... how...?" Before Ravine could speak, the older woman strides towards her and embraces her child. Suddenly, a blast of emotions makes the Queen repeatedly apologise to her daughter.
"Mom...? Don't say that, please. It wasn't your fault. It was his and my decision to quit being a princess. I've had enough, mom. I... I love my life now, as it is." Says Ravine.
As she stares into her mother's eyes, she couldn't help but think and question her,
"Mom... I'm not going back to that kingdom and its final. I can't hear to anything that you want to say." Says Ravine.
"Ravine, I'm sorry for what happened between you and your dad, baby." The Queen caresses her daughter's cheek, "But I'm sorry. He... told me he wanted to talk to you. Ever since you left our kingdom, there's been protests from the people all over. You father is concerned for you—"
"No, he's not. He's only concerned for his damn kingdom. He left me, dammit! Can't you see—"
"You don't believe me, right?" Smiling, the Queen elegantly wipes her tears away as she looks at the mansion behind herself.
An old man's silhouette appears from the door.
"Go," the Queen pats Ravine's shoulder, "Ask your father yourself and know what is in his heart. The Kingdom... or you?"
As the Queen says that, the King walks down the three set of stairs as he was seen biting down on his bottom lip.
The king was in tears.
Tears that he wasn't able to shed for 25 years...
