Rule no.32
"Who... who wrote that rule? It wasn't there before..." the queen recalls, saying again that a rule of that sort never existed.
"Apparently, it was the king who made such changes, your majesty."
"Well..." Jenna looks at her daughter and she looks at Aaron. Suddenly, everything was made an awful spur of intense happiness as the two blush. Marriage so soon?
And that too, for the sake of the kingdom?
"Ravine, dear. I think I have something to suggest if you're willing to listen." Says the queen.
"Yes... mom?"
"Should I make the deputy king as Gerrard? He would be apt for the title, but only until you're prepared to take over as Queen." Says Jenna.
"I think..." Ravine looks at her boyfriend and shares a nod of agreement, "I think that's wise enough, mother. Let's make him the King. If he is better than me, he will become the King of the kingdom too."
As Ravine says, half of the court agrees while the other half wasn't very convinced. The ones who hated that decision was the royal family.
"How could you let an advisor become the next King!? He could plot anything against—" the discussion was happening in the absence of Gerrard himself.
He was still out of the state, somewhere where he couldn't be found with Miranda.
The funeral went on without them, Ravine felt a little gloomy for his absence. The King cherished the advisor too much, it was sad to say goodbye without his favorite advisor in the scene.
It wasn't his fault. Gerrard didn't know the recent changes made in the kingdom, and that the kingdom was accepting Ravine.
He and Miranda hear the national news of the king's death, but they chose not to show up because...
Miranda gave birth to her healthy baby boy a day later the news was blown.
"Fine. Proceed as per your wishes, your majesty. I'm leaving for the southern kingdom to visit my parents for the time being." Says a son in law of her sister's daughter.
Jenna sighs and turns to face the two strong supporters of hers. The ministers have all went back home. Only the three royals remain in the court.
"What do we do? The people will be happy, but I'm worried about the royals." Says Ravine.
"Me too, dear. Well, we will leave it up to fate. As for you two, you can go home and handle your business. Distract yourself from the affairs of the kingdom. We will do something or the other. If not, I will do something for the benefit of our land." Saying, Jenna tells them to return back to New York.
The same midnight, they hug the old lady and say goodbye until next time.
The fought journey was exhausting as they reached back to New York late at 3 am.
They safely make it back to Aaron's mansion, sleep was the only priority in their eyes for now.
"Good night, future wife." Aaron teases her, hugging her to his chest. The woman blushes profusely as though she was at her wedding herself.
"Goodnight, my handsome prince." Kissing his chest, she closes her eyes to fall into slumber within a minute.

The next morning, the news channels blow up about the nation's royals and the decision taken. Ravine hopes that the news reaches to Gerrard no matter what and once he makes contact to the palace, the royal army will fetch him.
She was still unaware of her becoming an aunt, officially. Gerrard found no chance to inform her about the sweet news, because he was busy with his new work lifestyle as someone's office assistant.
However, in the evening, Aaron returns from his office tired and exhausted. When Ravine goes to his side to encourage him and kiss him for the hardworking he does, the phone from her own office starts to ring.
She creases her eyebrows together.
There shouldn't be a call from her studio unless there's an emergency situation.
Speculating something unusual, Ravine slowly takes the telephone and answers to it.
"Hello?" She speaks into the phone. Aaron was behind her, listening to their conversation and to track the person right away if they were anything close to suspicious.
"Hello!? Ravine Renaldi!? It's me, Gerrard!" The man yells into the phone. Ravine gasps, her reaction alerting Aaron as he rushes beside her.
She mouths to him that it was Gerrard.
He calms down, rather putting a smile on his face.
"Oh my God, you rascal! Where are you!?"
"Yeah, yeah, insult me and curse me all you want but could you please let me come to your house? We three are outside and just came to NY." He says.
"What the— Why'd you come here!?"
"I might have stayed in New Jersey for the time being...?" Ravine gasps again.
"You are so dead when you come here. And what the hell!? Who's the third person—" the amount of times she gasps today was unreal. She turns to her lover and holds his hand, jumping like a kangaroo.
"What's it's name!?"
"Jocastia. Jocastia Burmann." Says Gerrard Burmann. (Let's assume his surname is Burmann from now)
"Oh my God..." Ravine was too elevated to stay standing. She sits on the chair as Aaron pats her back soothingly.
"Why'd you name her after me...?" She asks, happy tears whirring in her eyes.
"Because I named her after the woman who was never afraid to stand up for her decisions. You're someone who I and Miranda look up to, Jocastia. We really do."
"Oh god..." Ravine sheds her tears while Aaron hugs her in her position.
"You know," wiping a tear trail from her cheek, she says, "I really hate that name. It's weird as fuck."
"Please don't tell me my first child's name is weird, Ravine."
"I had another name too, dammit."
"I would love to avoid confusion, Ravine." Gerrard says as the woman laughs and cries a little more.
Aaron sends a car to pick up the three as Ravine cuts the call. If anything else was to be told, it can be spoken in person later on.
In under an hour, Ravine will get to see the first child named in her honor, Jocastia Burmann.
