REAL AS THE OCEAN BREEZE
Gia couldn't tear her gaze away from the sparkling ring adorning her finger. Its brilliance caught the sunlight, casting a kaleidoscope of shimmering reflections onto the surrounding sand. With every movement, it seemed to whisper tales of everlasting commitment and the promise of a shared future.
"Are you okay?" Deep inquired, noticing her enamored stare at the ring.
Gia's eyes sparkled as she looked up at him, her smile radiant. "I can't believe this is real. It feels like a dream," she confessed, her voice laced with delight.
Deep reached for her hand, tenderly entwining his fingers with hers, admiring the ring that symbolized their newfound promise. "Believe me, it's as real as the ocean breeze and the sand beneath our feet."
They immersed themselves in the delightful breakfast feast—a medley of fresh fruits, warm pastries, and savory delights that mirrored the sweetness of their love. The soothing sound of the waves provided a melodic backdrop to their intimate conversation.
Gia traced her fingers over the delicate details of the ring, still captivated by its beauty. "It's perfect," she murmured, her eyes sparkling with adoration.
Deep grinned, his gaze fixated on her. "You're perfect. This ring is just a small token of my love for you."
As they indulged in breakfast, their laughter mingled with the ocean's whispers, creating an ambiance filled with warmth and joy. Each bite was savored not just for its flavor but also for the precious moments shared between them.
"This moment is unforgettable." Gia confessed, savoring a piece of fruit.
"Absolutely," Deep agreed, his eyes filled with tenderness. "It's just the beginning of our journey together."
Their conversation ebbed and flowed, painting the morning with snippets of their shared dreams, aspirations, and excitement for the adventures that lay ahead. They relished the simple pleasure of being together, finding solace and joy in each other's company.
As they finished their breakfast, the sun had climbed higher in the sky, casting a warm embrace over the seaside. With every glance at her ring, Gia's heart swelled with gratitude for the beautiful morning, the promises made, and the love that enveloped them both.
Gia turned to him, her eyes filled with curiosity. "What about it?"
"I want us to start this new chapter sooner rather than later," Deep confessed, a glint of determination in his eyes. He reached for her hand, gently tracing the band of the ring that adorned her finger.
Gia snapped her eyes at him. “Huh? I don’t understand, Deep. What do you mean?” She asked, lost at what Deep wanted.
“Don’t you think we have wasted so much time unnecessarily? Don’t you think we should stop wasting any more? We both know what we want, right? And that is the future for us both. With the little Deeps or Gias, right?” Deep spoke, still pulling Gia into more confusion.
“Deep? That is beautiful, but what are you insinuating? I still don’t get what you mean.” She said a glimmer of confusion appeared on her lips in the form of a blush.
Deep fixed his gaze on hers, browsing deeper into her debilitated eyes. “Don’t you know what I am trying to say, Gia? Read my eyes. I am sure you can do that. You did even before, when you were trying so hard to rebel against this love. I am sure you can read them now that you have accepted what we both truly feel for each other.”
Her heart quickened at his words, a mixture of surprise and excitement bubbling within her. Her eyes darted into his and then delved deeper into his bottomless orbs, only blinking when she realized she was getting lost. She wouldn’t mind getting lost in them. But she just needed to make sure of things. "Are you saying...?"
He nodded, a smile tugging at the corners of his lips. "Yes, Gia. I want us to get married as soon as possible. I want you to be the last thing that I see before I close my eyes and the first thing I see when I peel them. I want you so much. I don’t want this long and annoying wait. I want to have you all to myself every single second of my life. So, yes, again?"
Gia's radiant smile graced her lips. Her words came out in whispers as tears of joy flew. "I'd love that, Deep. Yes. Again! It will always be a yes to you, no matter what you ask."
As she reached out to him, her fingers found their way to his hair, playfully ruffling it as they shared a moment filled with joy and anticipation. Their laughter mingled with the melodious symphony of the waves crashing against the shore.
"Let's make it happen," Gia chimed in, her heart dancing with excitement. "I can't wait to start planning our future together."
Deep's eyes sparkled with love and enthusiasm. "I promise you, Gia, our wedding will be as beautiful as the love we share."
Deep's unexpected proposal to expedite their wedding plans had caught her completely off guard, flooding her heart with a deluge of emotions she struggled to put into words. Her mind raced with excitement, and her heart was beating in sync with the crashing waves nearby.
His heartfelt desire to fast-track their union, expressed amidst the picturesque setting they both cherished, left her overwhelmed with happiness. The thought of becoming Deep's partner in life, of sharing their love and committing to a future together sooner than expected, was a dream she had held silently in her heart.
The radiant glow of the morning sun seemed to mirror the effervescent warmth filling her soul. Gia's emotions swirled like the ocean's currents—a beautiful blend of surprise, joy, and an intense desire to embrace this newfound chapter of their love story.
As she looked at the ring on her finger, every glint and sparkle carried the weight of their shared commitment, propelling her into a realm of happiness that was beyond words. Deep's proposal, filled with love and earnest longing, had kindled a fire of elation within her, a fire that illuminated her world with an intoxicating brightness.
Her fingers involuntarily tangled in Deep's hair, a gesture that reflected the depth of her affection and the overwhelming emotions surging through her being. She yearned to express the multitude of feelings she was experiencing—the exhilaration of becoming his wife, the excitement of planning their future, and the sheer delight of knowing they would soon be bound in matrimony.
