Three years had passed since the birth of their beloved son. S’bu and Thandi seemed to be falling in love more and more everyday. With JC rating top in the country, S’bu had hired a second PI and now had a lot of time to spend with his family. They traveled and went out on regular basis, attracting attention everywhere they went. They had been together for a long time but still could not keep their hands off each other.

“S’busiso Jobe, you have made me the happiest women on earth and I can’t imagine my life with anyone else”Thandi told him one night after making love.

“Thandiswa Jobe, you are the love of my life and I also cannot imagine my life without you”he responded lovingly.

“Go to sleep now, we have a long day tomorrow. Your sister, my best friend is getting married to my cousin” she said excited. Mandy and Bonga had been together for a long time and finally decided to tie the knot.

“AuntyLungi is also coming, let me know if she bothers you”he said. Lungi was his Father’s talkative younger sister whom no one liked, but tolerated because she was family and she did not like Thandi at all.

“Oh, don’t worry about that one, I have my own way of managing her”she said yawning.

Mandy and Bonga’s wedding was big and exorbitant like all Jobe functions. Mandy was not only the beautiful daughter of Mr J, the founder of JC, she was also a famous Quantum physicist that put South Africa on the map in terms of research. Bonga also had an impressive record. Known to many as the handsome Doctor Bonga Ngcobo or Doctor Bongs. He was the youngest and most trusted of the King’s advisors. He had a PhD, the founder of indigenous games and well known for his work in preserving traditions. The rumours were that the King never made any decisions without consulting him.

Their wedding was attended by the whole royal household, famous businessmen and women, scientists from all over the world and representatives from government. Mandy had taken four months leave for her honeymoon and Thandi was starting to miss her, especially in the research department. After the huge success with their research, JC had expanded the research wing and it now had a lot of scientists and support staff conducting different projects but it did not feel the same to Thandi without Mandy around. She was busy with one of her equations when S’bu walked in. He was so excited that he picked her up and turned around with her twice.

“S’busiso we are in public, what are you doing?”Thandi asked blushing.

“All these people know that you are my wife and you repeatedly make love to me”he said mischievously.

“S’busiso!”she exclaimed.

He laughed, he still found pleasure in teasing his wife. “I bring you great news” he said. “JC has just been offered a ridiculous amount of sponsorship for your double lemonade”he said excited.

“How much is ridiculous?”she asked curious.

“Fifty billion dollars”he said. With that amount, JC was set for life even if by some bad luck the other wings of the company collapsed.

“What!”Thandi exclaimed. She had never heard of a sponsor offering that much money in her whole life.

“The company has one condition”he said.

“Off course, there must be a catch. What do they want?”she asked.

“It is an American company and wants to bring one of their young Quantum physicist to be mentored for the duration of the project”he explained.

“It’s a smart move on their part. They are developing their own so that in the future they won’t spend so much money funding a research in another country”she said, impressed.

“So you don’t object?”he asked.

“I don’t know, I have to ask my husband, the CEO”she said innocently.

S’bu pulled her to his arms and kissed her passionately.

“S’bu, we are still in public”she said pushing him away.

“Let’s go home then”he suggested. “I think my wife deserves a reward”he added mischievously.

“Ahem! we are the ones coming from a honeymoon but you don’t see us doing that in public”Bonga said walking in.

“Mandy!”Thandi shouted, running to hug Mandy who walked in behind Bonga.

“Good to see you too Cuz”Bonga said, pretending to be hurt.

“Sorry Cuz, I didn’t mean to pass you like that, it’s just that I have never spent four months without seeing my best friend”Thandi explained.

“I’m jealous to say she missed you too, we just got back and she insisted that we start here to see you”Bonga said. Thandi and Mandy chatted happily for two hours. They talked about the honeymoon, the places they visited and the food they ate. Thandi told her about the sponsor they have received for their research project. S’bu and Bonga felt so left out that they eventually decided to leave the two friends chatting.
