CHAPTER 27
AURORA'S POV
I have been feeling Queasy and woozy since today, and it is becoming unusual that it made me uncomfortable and I really embarrassed myself at the eatery earlier today… Thank Goodness that I was in control of myself and strong enough to hold myself.
Yeah i have been having this same feeling for close to a month now but it hasn't been as serious as today's, i wonder what might be wrong with me.
I drove to Clark's gaming company and surprisingly he was already standing by the flower garden waiting for me but looking worried.
It's rare to see him in such bad mode, what might have gone wrong is that he is wearing such a long face and worst still, he came out so early to wait for me.
On seeing me he quickly rushed into the car as if he was being chased by a ghost or monster… I drove off still feeling uneasy because of his strange attitude that I wasn't focused on the highway. I spent more time looking at his face which looked actually cute… don't get me wrong.
He looked so lost in his supposed thoughts because he looked like he was lost in another world, he didn't notice my looks as he repeatedly drummed his laps.
"Clark…'' I called softly but it seemed like he didn't hear me.
"Clark, are you alright? Tell me what the matter is, you have been boring and worried even before I picked you up today, hope you're good huh?… Did you have a bad day at work today?" I blasted the question but none was giving an answer . Maybe he doesn't want to talk to anyone. I will just wait till we get home.
I drove into the compound as we both came down from the car and entered inside without saying a word to each other… It was really getting me pissed, yeah we do not get along so well but all this while we have been together I have learnt him so well that not talking to me becomes boring.
"Clark, why ain't you saying anything to me!What have I done wrong or am I part of whatever angered you today?!" I asked, already angry as we entered the room, he was still pretending not to notice me.
"Clark fucking talk to me!, Stop giving me the goddamn annoying attitude!!" I yelled as I made to hold his wrist as he angrily spanked my hands off.
"As if you would listen!, you wouldn't and will never listen to me, what is the use of telling you!, you always claim to be stubborn and you do not help matters at all… After all this persuasion for me to tell you, you won't still listen to me so let me be and face my plight alone" He angrily held as he threw his shoes to a corner and slumped on the foam.
"I thought we are married and we gotta share stuff together so why this attitude now?" I asked slowly and sadly as he scoffed.
"Don't try to weaken me with those words because it's not gonna move me today at all, Aura please leave me alone i gotta rest, it's been a long hard day and you don't want to add up to my stress" He said with his eyes tightly shut.
"Okay… i promise to listen to whatever you say without any form of argument" i said as he opened his eyes but looking straight to the pretty chandelier on the ceiling.
"Are you trying to bring words outta my mouth?" Clark asked as she slowly sat up now looking straight into my eyes.
"No Clark, I am being serious right now and I promise to keep to my words, I promise and I cross my heart to keep my words… just tell me what has happened and it seems like i am involved in it" i said as he hissed.
CLARK'S POV
"Look Aura you really need to try to listen at this time… some people are after you and in order to stay safe and avoid them you gotta stay at home, If you do not listen to me Aura you might end up dead or something close to that" i said as her eyes widened in shock.
"Holy shit!, geez! God forbid that!, who the fuck is planning to kill me, i haven't done anything to hurt anybody ever so why would anyone want to kill me now Clark?… Who the fuck are they?" She asked.
"You do not know her"
"A her?… if i don't know her which means i haven't done anything to her before so why is she after me?… you know the person Clark, i am sure you know the person so what have you done to stop her?" She asked.
"Aurora i am doing alot to stop her, trust me when i say that and that why i want you to stay back at home while i do my part in anyway i can, i get it that it is gonna be hard for you to quit for some days or maybe months because you haven't known much about your workers, i know it hurts but Aurora you should really help me i do not want anything to happen to you at all… Anything that hurts you affects me, just try to stay back home, i will provide whatever it is you want at all… your bra's your panties anything at all" i said trying not to sound funny as she giggled to the bra's and panties i said.
"You sound so sweet actually but it's just part of your tricks to keep me as you said… All i want from you if you really want me to stay is for you to always help me check up on the eatery" she said
"If that is the problem then I have no choice than to accept your condition, all I want from you is to faithfully stay back home" I said as she nodded in a smile and walked into the bathroom while I lay back down.
AURORA'S POV
I earlier got a call from queen marguerite saying she was coming to see us and spend quality time with us, i felt kinda guilty for not being the one to visit her.
I haven't gone to spend time with her ever since we came back from italy and that is quite bad of me, she was kind and caring enough to rather come over to see us.

"Wow Aura you really are changing every passing day!, what's going on with you! You look really pretty and plump, what are you eating" Queen Mag said as she sat on the couch making her pretty blue gown spread freely to the floor "or Has Clark done it?" She said in a knowing smile.
"Done what ma'am?" I asked, pretending not to know what she was talking about.
"Common Aura!… Don't give me that look and don't pretend not to know what i am talking about '' she said as she rolled her eyes dramatically.
"Oh no ma'am!" I said as I smiled feeling a bit shy "it hasn't gotten to that '' I said as she gave a toothy smile.
"Are you sure it's not what I am thinking?" She asked as I smiled in a nod.
"Ma'am you haven't talked about Clark's Dad before" i said trying to change the topic and the weird atmosphere.
"Oh yeah!, anyway you never asked me… Clark's dad is sure of a life but i do not know where he is at the time" Queen mag said making me confused.
"I don't get you ma'am"
"Clark's dad and i were never married, he was my sugar boy back then when i was into some improper lifestyle, i payed him to satisfy me sexually and then later when i was about to be crowned Queen, i wasn't married yet and that got my mom worried, i wasn't ready to get married so all i did was to pay Ben for the service of getting me pregnant and after getting me pregnant he ran away with my most expensive jewelry as at then and ever since i haven't set my eyes on him" Queen mag said.
