Part: 53 I'm scared

"After that, I just ran away from there and directly come to you. I'm a murderer, Zain. The world is so cruel, now I'm scared. I'm so stupid to believe in everyone." She's crying her heart aloud, hiding her face in my chest and clutching my blazer. My heart is aching, seeing her condition.

I clasped her face and made her look into my eyes. "You're very strong, Princess and you know, I'm proud of you. The way you always fight for yourself. It just that you have a big heart, you want to help others. You can't see anybody in problem and pain." I tried to console her. Tears are trickling down her soft cheeks constantly.

"But now-now I'm a murderer, Zain. Police-police will arrest me." She shuttered, her sorrowful eyes glinted with fear. I'm fighting back with my tears, seeing her doleful look and tears in her eyes.

"You haven't done anything wrong. Police won't arrest you and I'm with you. I won't let anything happen to you, trust me." I reassured her after placing my forehead over her. My chest is becoming heavy with pain but I'm standing strong for her.

"Everything is gonna be okay. Just stay strong and trust me." I entwined my hands with her.

She moved her face away from me and looked at me, appalled. "I want to go home. I'm tired." She murmured.

"Okay, we're going home." I blinked my eyes and placed a kiss on her forehead.

But before all this, I should inform police about Veer before it gets late.

I have connections with police, I'll handle the case easily. But I should first call them, maybe Veer is still alive. I really want him to be alive because I want to make him suffer like my Princess is suffering.

I stood up and scooped her into my arms. She looked at me with her sorrowful eyes and my heart ached painfully. I'm already missing the sparkle in her eyes.

"Call my driver and ask him to bring my car in front of the office from the parking area," I ordered my P.A. before stepping into the lift. She gave me a slight nod and slipped her hand into the pocket. As I pressed the button of the ground floor, the door of lift slid close.

I stalked out of the office and saw my driver standing out of the car, waiting for us. As he saw us, he hurriedly opened the door of the car. I settled down inside, holding her in the same position, Ravi, my driver closed the door.

As Ravi sat down at the driving seat, I instructed him, "take us to Gill's house."

I'm taking her to Mom Dad, she will feel better there, with them. At this time, she needs her loved ones to be with her. I don't want to leave her alone for even a single second.

Now Princess is sitting on my lap. I removed hair from her face and gently tucked them behind her ear. She's sleeping with sadness on her face.

"I promise you, I'll make you fine again and handle everything. I won't let you go to jail, not even for interrogation. I won't let you face all this, because you don't deserve this." I murmured, hugging her in my arms and kissed her hair.

After that, I called the police commissioner and informed him about everything.

After this, I called dad and informed everything. He was shocked after knowing this. I messaged Anu also and ask her to come. She looked at me, her eyes are brimmed with tears. "I'm scared, Zain." She hiccuped.

"Scared of what?" I instantly asked and placed my hand over her face.

"Mom Dad, they will hate me for killing someone. Everyone will hate me. I'm scared." She again started crying loudly, I'm feeling like someone is stabbing knives into my heart. She's so shattered. I have never seen her so scared before.

I shook my head. "No, Princess, nobody will hate you because you haven't done anything wrong by killing that bastard." I tried to explain her, but she's not listening to me, she's just crying, lost in her own dreadful thoughts. I can utterly understand her condition. But I've to console her because I don't want to lose her. I'll bring my strong Princess back.

I cupped her face and said loudly to catch her attention. "You're a strong woman, Princess, who is not scared of anything and today what you did, it's an act of bravery. I'm proud of you, and mom dad, they are also proud of you. I know you're disturbed, but don't worry, you'll be fine because you're my strong Princess and you're born strong who has the power to fight with the whole world all alone." I'm trying my best to encourage her. She's staring at me and listening to me silently.

"I'm just tired of always trusting the wrong people and trying to help them. They always deceived me." She uttered dejectedly. I closed my eyes in dismay, not understanding what I should do to make her believe that she hasn't done anything wrong.
