Before An Lushan could react, Wang Chong appeared in front of him and slashed the Xuanyuan Sword. The sharp edge of the sword paired with Grotto Heaven energy left a scar more than half an inch deep in An Lushan’s World Armor, and the sword’s explosive strength once more blasted An Lushan back into the ground.

“Special Event: Clash Against Destiny!” The Stone of Destiny’s voice rang out in Wang Chong’s ears.

A figure shot up from the ground like a cannonball, surrounded by a furious storm of energy.

Each time An Lushan was defeated, his body would grow slightly stronger. Though An Lushan had yet to control the power of spacetime, in terms of pure power, he had already reached the peak of the Grotto Heaven realm and wasn’t much weaker than Genesis Supreme.

This was all due to the boost from the Power of the World.

This was a development that not even An Lushan had anticipated, but his eyes were crimson and his face distorted. The only thought in his mind was to kill Wang Chong, and he could no longer notice such things.

But when An Lushan raised his head, the scene that he saw was branded into his soul.

“An Lushan, there is no next time. Now, not even the World Consciousness can protect you!” Wang Chong’s cold and lofty voice resounded through the world.

Wang Chong stood in the air like a god, his body erupting with brilliant light.

Bang!

A fist of golden energy shot into the air and struck the center of the thundercloud vortex.

The entire world seemed to fall silent, all things frozen in time. A moment later, an enormous boom came from the center of the thundercloud vortex, the unwilling roar of the World Consciousness, and then the sky tore open.

Yes, Wang Chong’s attack had wounded the World Consciousness, and a few moments later, the lightning scattered, and that thundercloud vortex circling above began to disperse. It took only a few seconds for it to completely disappear.
