Chapter 2016 - Seeking the Path in the Academy

“Let’s go,” Liu Qingzhu said. He then led the crowd to another area. As they entered deeper inside, the space became even more unfathomable. They would occasionally encounter cultivators from the academy, yet the space above them was completely sealed off.

In the distance, there was a desolate piece of land that was blocked off by mountain ranges. The other side of the mountain range was covered in mist. Ye Futian and the others could faintly hear a sound coming from beyond the mist.

“What is that?” Qin Qing asked as she peered into the mountain range. Through the mist, she could faintly make out an enormous skyscraping tower. It seemed taller than a mountain. On the tower, countless runes were lit up. It was as though divine light was penetrating the mist. The crowd could see the strange phenomenon from afar. A faint but terrifying aura emanated from the direction of the tower. The faint sound was also coming from there.

“That tower is also a treasure,” Liu Qingzhu said. He did not explain more as he continued heading in the direction of the tower.

“That is a restricted area,” Ling He said to Qin Qing in a low voice. He also seemed to be reminding the others. The crowd immediately acted more reserved and did not look in the tower’s direction. All of them stood at different locations.
