Everything before them proved that the legends were all real. The Region of Light was indeed where the Bright Temple was.

Ye Futian looked forward. The divine temple was incredibly grandiose and magnificent. It looked like an enormous castle, extending into the skies to shine down an endless array of light from high up in the air.

Other than being ancient, the temple was a little dilapidated, with several areas damaged. These seemed to be damage from the great war of the ancient era. Below the divine palace, there was a door that looked like another Portal of Light. Two statues of light, each holding a scepter, stood on either side of the door. They seemed to be the guardians of light.

The light continued morphing gradually. Yu Hou opened his eyes too as he could finally see the scene before him clearly. It sent waves of shock through his heart. He said softly, "I didn't think that the legend was real. This is indeed a divine relic."

One by one, the others opened their eyes. Although they were a little unaccustomed to the light, they were all gradually able to start seeing the scene before them. Perhaps it was because of the changes in the physical space of this Small World. When they raised their head to look at the skies above the divine palace, they could see a diagram of light that looked like a divine matrix. The power of light was shining down from there, guarding the divine palace.

The cultivators started walking forward one after another. The cultivators' eyes from each of the forces started getting heated as their gazes slowly filled with greed and desire. For generations, they had been on guard at the Region of LIght. Now, they finally saw the divine relic.

Bling Chen walked forward, supporting himself with the cane in his hand. He came before the remains of the Bright Temple and knelt on the ground once again. "Yes." Chen Yi stepped forward and walked towards the divine palace.

At this moment, Blind Chen finally unleashed his spectacular power. He turned out to be a cultivator who had overcome the Divine Tribulation of the Great Path as well. His power level was definitely comparable to the four great elders.

Blind Chen's cane suddenly knocked a few times on the ground of the Bright Temple debris. Instantly, stone fragments and dust started flying, and at the same time, blazing light filled up the void. Blind Chen stood there as if he was a one-man army. Ye Futian and Chen Yi had already walked through the door and entered the Bright Temple.

"Get in!" Patriarch Lin's raised voice echoed through the air, immediately prompting the rest of the cultivators to dash forward, going around the battlefield to enter the Bright Temple.

The path might of the four great cultivators attacked simultaneously, attempting to overwhelm Blind Chen as the elders moved in an attempt to bypass him and enter the divine palace. At this point, they were far more concerned about the relic of the Bright Temple than if Blind Chen was dead or alive.

While Blind Chen couldn't see, the four cultivators' every move appeared in his perception. An even more magnificent light erupted from him. Instantly, a dominion of light appeared and engulfed the skies. Inside this dominion, the four elders squinted as if they could no longer see. Here, there was only light; it was actually similar to what they had experienced inside the Divine Matrix of Light.

Could it be that this was a type of the Powers of the Laws of Light?

But inside this light, they saw a pair of eyes that made their hearts pound. Those eyes contained endless lights; it was Blind Chen's eyes.

Blind Chen opened his eyes!

He opened his eyes with light!

Tsss… When the four great elders witnessed those eyes, they felt a stinging pain inside their irises, and their eyes started to bleed uncontrollably. The power of light had infiltrated their spiritual soul, attempting to purify everything and obliterate them in the process.

Hum! A furious roar surged through the void as a formless sword pierced through space, stabbing toward their eyes within a fraction of a second.

Yet the next moment, the eyes disappeared and reappeared in another location. It was as though these eyes weren't actual eyes but the eyes of light.

Blind Chen's tattered clothes fluttered in the air as he stood atop the rubbles with an unyielding expression. The cane in his hand had morphed into a scepter of light similar to the scepter in the hands of the guardians who stood before the Bright Temple.

Blind Chen was indeed related to the Bright Temple. He was the apostle of the Bright Temple who shouldered a mission passed down for generations. His mission was to find the heir of light.

And Chen Yi was the one he was looking for. For him, Blind Chen could sacrifice everything.

The only reason he stayed behind to block the way and let Ye Futian bring Chen Yi into the Bright Temple was that he had absolute trust in Ye Futian. Or perhaps it's better to say that he had absolute trust in the person who came to look for him back then!
