1347 Difficult to Move

Lin Jinshu walked on her high heels just as the Internet buzzed with discussions about her.

A couple walked past her. The girl was holding on to her boyfriend's arm while talking about it and scolding Lin Jinshu when they saw Lin Jinshu in front of them.

At first, they couldn't be sure and just felt that she looked familiar. They did not recognize her.

As if having a stroke of inspiration, though, the girl called out, "Lin Jinshu?"

Lin Jinshu stopped on reflex, turning back to look.

The girl saw and thought, Ohhh, it's really her!

She rushed forward a few steps, pulling her boyfriend with her. Pointing at Lin Jinshu's nose, she told off Lin Jinshu. "Shameless! You love breaking up a pair of lovebirds, is that it?! Still have the guts to plead with the hurt party? Scram out of our country!"

"What are you doing? How can you just come and reprimand someone? I don't even know you." Lin Jinshu fumed.

"It's enough for me to know that you're Lin Jinshu! Breaking up Wang Juhuai and Xia Qingwei, pooh! Shameless!"

People around them heard the commotion and gathered around, pointing at Lin Jinshu. "So she's Lin Jinshu? Even worse than a mistress!"

"Luckily, Wang Juhuai and Xia Qingwei never forgot one another and reunited. Or else, that innocent couple would have been separated by her permanently. How awful!"

"Move away!" Lin Jinshu said in a fluster.

More and more people surrounded them, all pointing at her, disdain and hatred on their furious faces.

Lin Jinshu looked around her, face paling. "What are you all doing? Do you all want to hit me?" she asked in anger

"We won't hit you. That'll break the law and dirty our hands!" someone shouted.

"We'll just scold you! No morals!"

"We'll scold you every time we see you! Shameless!"

"Go away, let me pass!" Lin Jinshu shrieked. "What class do you have, surrounding me and scolding me?!"

"That's still tons better than you! We are low-class for scolding you, but your heart is dirty!"

Lin Jinshu was physically stuck surrounded by these people and their scoldings for an hour, and the crowd got increasingly bigger.

The police eventually caught wind of it and came to disperse the crowd.

Someone had posted the pictures and videos online.

"Well done! We have plenty of good samaritans!"

"Let's just do this in the future. We're civilized people, we don't use our fists. We'll get thrown into jail for beating up Lin Jinshu, it's not worth it! We'll just surround her and scold her! Scold her until she's too embarrassed to be a human!"

By the time Lin Jinshu was escorted out of the crowd by the police, her hair was mussed.

She thanked the police stiffly, and when she returned to her car, she received a call from her assistant manager saying that the website had crashed.

Lin Jinshu felt so gloomy that her chest hurt.

Plans for the brick-and-mortar store fell through, and the website crashed at the same time.

All her previous investments were spent, and she gained nothing still.

She finally knew the feeling of having no space to maneuver.
