Struck by a bright idea, Shi Xiaoya said hurriedly, "I'm hungry."

"If you already knew about it, why didn't you take me there earlier?" Shi Xiaoya grumbled.

"Don't we need to go one restaurant at a time? I brought you to a different restaurant last time. It wasn't time for this one then," Han Zhuoling explained with a smile.

Han Zhuoling did not have much of a desire to seek out good food. However, knowing that his girl was a little foodie, he would make note of restaurants he heard others compliment or ones he had had work lunches at and found to be pretty good.

It was because he wanted to bring Shi Xiaoya out to eat again.

The two people chatted and laughed as they walked to the elevator doors.

Han Zhuoling pressed the elevator button, and before long, the elevator doors opened.

However, the person who walked out of the elevator made the two people blank out at the same time.
