"Alright!" Guo Yujie nodded. But just like Shi Xiaoya, she was getting knocked over hard and had no way to search.

Shi Xiaoya was thinking that she would search together with Guo Yujie. Whoever could find it first would call the cops; it was better than one person searching aimlessly.

The two cars that kept on crashing against them did not dare to do anything anymore when they saw the police cars.

They hurried off.

The cops heard Shi Xiaoya say that they had been attacked by two cars.

So they had sent three police cars.

Two of the police cars rushed to chase down the two cars.

The other stopped to look for Shi Xiaoya and the others.

Xiao Yu could only pull over at the roadside.

Guo Yujie was so scared that she felt exhausted and collapsed on the back seat.

Shi Xiaoya was also terrified.

But she still had to face the cops, so she opened the door and got out.

Unexpectedly, just as she stood up, her legs felt like jelly, and she almost fell.

Luckily, she immediately held on to the car door.

Xiao Yu immediately came to support Shi Xiaoya.

The cops came over and found out that Shi Xiaoya was the one who had called, so they asked her about the situation.

"How are you feeling right now? Do you want to go to the hospital for a checkup?" asked the cop.

Shi Xiaoya shook her head. "I am just… just scared, but I'm not injured."

Even though Shi Xiaoya was not injured, her legs were still so weak.

She really did her best to hold in her tears.

It had already happened anyway, so there was no use crying now.

But the emotions of fear and shock were not something that she could control.

Guo Yujie finally recovered slowly. Without wiping the tears on her cheeks, she got out of the car.

Shi Xiaoya saw her and supported her. "Why did you get out of the car? Rest in the car for a while."

Guo Yujie shook her head. "It's alright. I will feel scared in the car. I feel safer standing here with you guys."

Because they had called the cops, they could not just leave.

The cops still had to ask them a few questions.

As they were being questioned, the two police cars that went to chase the two cars also returned.

"Didn't catch them," said one of the cops who returned. "Let's head back and check the CCTV footage, then we will be able to find them."

Shi Xiaoya also did not know who had ambushed her.
