2742 A Date
"Did you forget? We still have to wait for news about Lian Qingyin at midnight today," Han Zhuoling said in a sad tone. "I am so sad. We have just gotten our marriage certificates and I have just become your husband. We were always doing it before getting the marriage certificates. But ever since we had gotten our marriage certificates, we have not done it."
Shi Xiaoya was speechless. "…"
She wanted to ask, "Don't we still have a night before we have to deal with Lian Qingyin?"
However, eventually, Shi Xiaoya felt too embarrassed to say anything.
Shi Xiaoya's face was red as she said, "We still have a long life ahead of us. Let's finish up this business with Lian Qingyin this midnight, then we can relax without any worries."
"Sure." Han Zhuoling thought so himself.
Shi Xiaoya then prepared lunch.
The two had just woken up, and so, they did not have breakfast.
Therefore, the lunch prepared was simple. After all, it would not be good for their stomach.
With that, Shi Xiaoya cooked some noodles and made three refreshing side dishes.
It was a hot summer and they were not hungry.
Whenever Shi Xiaoya saw hot food, she felt hot.
The soup and noodles were hot. And so, some mixed vegetables were made.
While the two were still eating, Han Zhuoling said, "We don't have much to do in the afternoon. Do you have anything you want to do?"
Shi Xiaoya thought about it and said, "How about we go shopping?"
After all, they had just gotten married. They were not going for their honeymoon trip now.
However, a date that happened after marriage would feel different from a date that happened before marriage.
"We will be going out as husband and wife instead of boyfriend and girlfriend," Shi Xiaoya said with a smile.
Han Zhuoling pondered it and thought it was good.
And so, they ate their lunch and tidied themselves up before they left the house.
They had known each other for a long time, but they had rarely gone on dates.
The two had built their relationship while they were filming Survivor.
When they weren't filming for that show, they would meet for different kinds of businesses.
They had only met because of work.
After they started dating, Han Zhuoling had hastily and shamelessly moved into the apartment above hers. He then took down the partition between the two apartments, resulting in them living together.
This meant that they started living together not long after they started dating.
They were already so intimate, and so, they rarely went on dates.
It was convenient to see each other at home right after work.
In addition, they were both busy. Sometimes, Han Zhuoling would be available, but Shi Xiaoya would be on a business trip.
Sometimes, Shi Xiaoya would be free, but Han Zhuoling would be working or on a business trip.
They rarely had time together.
Shi Xiaoya couldn't bear seeing Han Zhuoling working so hard.
Although Han Zhuoling was not working as much as before, he was still busy.
He still had to work overtime. If he had work that could be done at home, he would do it at home.
After all, even though he still had to work at home, it also meant that he could at least keep Shi Xiaoya company.
Han Zhuoling did not know much about emotions and relationships. He just knew that he had to put in the effort.
He was not worried that Shi Xiaoya would want to be with someone else out of loneliness. He knew that Shi Xiaoya was not this type of person.
He was just worried that he might not have enough time to accompany Shi Xiaoya and that she would be lonely if she was alone.
She would be in a relationship with him, but he would never have time to be with her.
If so, what would be the difference between having him as a boyfriend and not having one?
If it's like that, then he would not be considered a good boyfriend.
Therefore, Han Zhuoling would try to work at home so that he could keep Shi Xiaoya company.
