She was thinking that Wei Wucai was gay, so of course he could only be friends with her.

She answered, "We finished at around eight. We were going to eat out, but that mess happened because of Lu Xiuse, and we had no choice but to go back to the hotel and order takeout."

Once again, Yan Beicheng very precisely identified the main point of the story. "So are you done eating?"

"I am still eating," Yan Zhiqing answered.

Yan Zhiqing thought to herself, people would normally hang up quickly to not disturb others while they were eating.
