3253 Not Someone Who Looked at Appearances

As of now, Wei Wucai could only see Yan Zhiqing's eyes.

"That's not what I meant," Wei Wucai said. "However, if you continue walking on the road, you will attract a lot of attention. What if someone recognizes you?"

Yan Zhiqing turned her head coldly and said, "I am thoroughly wrapped by this jacket. How can anyone recognize me? I won't gain any attraction if you stop following me on the road."

"How can I feel safe letting you walk like this?" Wei Wucai asked with a frown.

"What else can I do? Are you going to shout my name if I refuse to get in the car?" Yan Zhiqing raised her brow and scoffed.

"…" Wei Wucai felt a little frustrated. In her opinion, was he someone who would do anything to achieve his goals?

"I won't do that," Wei Wucai said. "Do you think I am someone who is willing to threaten you to achieve my goal?"

Yan Zhiqing remained silent, refusing to say another word.

Obviously, she knew that some minor threats were just like jokes.

But during serious moments, Wei Wucai would never do such a thing.

It was her who had spoken out of anger.

Yan Zhiqing stopped talking and continued walking.

She refused to get in the car, but Wei Wucai couldn't abandon her on the roadside.

Some ill-tempered drivers even rolled down their car window and berated him out loud.

There was a driver who was even more ill-tempered. He drove around Wei Wucai's car and parked in front of him.

He then got out of the car and rushed towards Wei Wucai's car.

Although Wei Wucai had rolled down the window at the front passenger seat, the window on his side was still up.

And so, the person dashed over and started banging on the window on the driver's side while shouting, "Motherf*cker! Do you know how to drive! If you don't, get the hell out of here! Get out of the f*cking car!"

Yan Zhiqing saw how fierce that person was. She knew that Wei Wucai was not afraid of that person.

Even if ten people had appeared, it would have been a piece of cake for Wei Wucai. Not to mention that this was just one person.

However, Yan Zhiqing was still worried about causing trouble for Wei Wucai.

If Wei Wucai were to beat up that person, he would then have to stop by the police station.

It was unknown as to whether this man was doing it intentionally.

There was nothing he could say to her.

And so, he used this method to force her to get in the car.

However, this time, Yan Zhiqing had imagined this scheme herself.

Wei Wucai had never thought that way.

He just wanted to follow and protect her.

However, Wei Wucai had made so many mistakes and had tricked Yan Zhiqing so many times.

He watched as she fell for his tricks, one after the other.

Still, Yan Zhiqing didn't want to cause Wei Wucai any trouble.

Her face darkened. She was not willing, but she moved quickly.

She walked to Wei Wucai's car and tried to open the door, only to realize that the door was locked.

Wei Wucai was not in the mood to bother with that person who was shouting all that f*ckery. He was constantly paying attention to Yan Zhiqing.

He saw that she had suddenly approached and tried but failed to open the door.

Wei Wucai felt a sense of joy as he quickly unlocked the car.

Yan Zhiqing immediately opened the door and got in the car.

The person who was slamming the window on the driver's seat saw that the doors had been unlocked.

Immediately, he wanted to take this chance to open the door and drag Wei Wucai out.

However, how could Wei Wucai not have prevented that?

When Wei Wucai unlocked the car, he was pulling on the door handle on the driver's side.

His expression didn't change at all. He still looked at ease.

He didn't even bother to look at the man outside his window as his gaze was constantly on Yan Zhiqing.

He had only placed his hand on the door handle.

That was how easily he stopped the man outside the car from opening the door.

Not only could the door not be opened, but the door was also completely still. It was as though it had been locked.

The man outside the car thought it was weird and wondered if this door was locked by itself.

Yan Zhiqing got in the car and put on her seatbelt. While doing that, she said, "What are you waiting for? Are you not driving? Do you want to fight someone?"

Wei Wucai locked the car door and immediately drove away.

There was someone outside the car. Still, the person didn't want to get hit by the car.

When he saw that Wei Wucai didn't care at all and was going to hit him if he didn't leave…

The man was cowed and hastily moved away.

And then, Wei Wucai was seen driving away.

Yan Zhiqing didn't want to talk to Wei Wucai in the car. As Wei Wucai was worried about making Yan Zhiqing even angrier, he didn't talk at all.

But occasionally, when he was driving, he still couldn't help turning and looking at her.

When the light was red, Wei Wucai behaved even more outrageously.

He turned and blatantly stared at Yan Zhiqing and didn't even move.

Yan Zhiqing was still wearing her mask and hat, showing only her eyes. She didn't even know what was there to look at.

She knew that Wei Wucai would not be able to see her face.

But Yan Zhiqing was not blind and obviously felt the blazing gaze coming from Wei Wucai.

Immediately, she wanted to get out of the car.

However, the car was in the middle of the road, and she could not get out.

She was basically stuck.

She could only wind her neck in and hide almost half of her small face in the loosely fitted down and feather jacket.

When the light turned green, Wei Wucai was still looking.

Yan Zhiqing finally couldn't bear it anymore. She shouted, "You can drive."

She was not even showing her face. What was there to look at!

Wei Wucai smiled and pressed on the gas pedal.

Yan Zhiqing didn't say what she was thinking.

However, it was as though Wei Wucai had heard her thoughts. He said shamelessly, "Even if you hide your face, as long as you are beside me, I am happy. I can't stop looking at you."

He added, "I am not looking at your face. I am looking at you."

Yan Zhiqing's face, which was covered by the hat and mask, turned red. Feeling uncomfortable, she moved.

Wei Wucai was basically saying that he was not someone who looked at appearances.

He liked her not because she was pretty.

However, Yan Zhiqing knew that Wei Wucai was not saying this to make her feel better.

After all, Wei Wucai's face was the convincing evidence.

He looked so pretty. Who could be pretty enough for him?

Wei Wucai looked at his own face in the mirror every day.

He had done this for thirty years.

Because of his own appearance, he had high standards for what was considered beautiful.

It's believable for him not to be someone who looked at appearances.
