Inanna POV

“What the fuck!” I scream out as the others look on in horror.

I reach down and touch my stomach which is growing right in front of us. How the hell did this happen? This is not good. Not only can I not leave Chanel’s body but I cannot exactly birth a god.

“Walker’s I presume?” Bauer says.

“Well, it certainly isn’t yours. You cannot get me pregnant. This has to be your brother's child,” I say.

I cannot have a baby. What the hell will I do with it? Drag it around as I body jump and kill people. No this is not happening. This has not ever happened before. Why now?

“Dumb question but how did this happen?” Walker asks.

“I do not know. When I am in a body the body takes on my godlike traits. Chanel should not have been able to get pregnant unless. Fuck the fucking flower did this,” I say.

“The flower that does not affect you managed to get you pregnant by my brother,” Walker says.

“Look smartass. I do not make the rules. I just enforce them,” I say to the little fucker.

Jasmine looks on in horror. “Not to be a bitch or to make light of this very delicate situation. But why are you growing so fast and how does this affect Chanel?” she asks.

“The baby will be here by nightfall. As soon as I find another body I am gone. You two can explain it to Chanel. That should be a fun conversation for you both. Your friend is going to give birth to a god. Good luck to you all,” I say.

I can tell by the look on their faces it was not exactly the response they were hoping for. Chanel a mother. Man, this is going to be great. I do not care. I am out of here as soon as I find a body to jump to.

“Wait, isn’t this baby a god or a demi? Chanel is human but both parents are gods. Can someone explain?” Jasmine asks.

“I am not in my god form. The baby will be a demi-god like Bauer,” I answer her.

“Okay, Chanel is going to flip out when she comes back and all this has happened and be about to give birth. I have a proposal for you,” Jasmine says.

“I am all ears,” I say.

“How much longer until the baby comes?” Jasmine asks.

I think for a moment. It only takes a few hours. It has been a few. Damn, I need to hurry up.

“Real damn soon,” I say as I grow more uncomfortable.

“You have the baby. I will take it and raise it. Chanel doesn’t have to know. In exchange I will find you a body,” Jasmine says.

“Where are you going to find me a willing body so soon. I have bodies I use. I am just having a little difficulty locating one at this moment,” I say.

“She can use one,” the small voice comes from behind us.

“If it will help. I have no family left. I do not know my life anymore. I have been in this hotel for so long. I have no idea about the world. I will let you use me,” she says.

“What’s your name?” I ask her.

“Ka,” she says.

“Okay Ka. I will use you but your body will be mine for eternity. Whenever I need it. I will find you and body jump,” I say to her.

“I understand,” she says.

“Okay, we need to prepare a room. I will be giving birth soon. Bauer, you better educate her real quick on raising a demi-god. This will not be an easy task for her,” I say.

Bauer is still standing in awe. “Jasmine, can you come with me a moment,” he says to her.

The two step outside of the office. “Are you sure you want to do this?” Bauer asks her.

“I am. I cannot let all of this land on Chanel,” Jasmine says.

“No that would not be fair to her. But you cannot do this alone either. I can help you,” Bauer says.

“You will help me?” she questions him.

“Just tell her how you feel already,” I holler from the office.

“Jasmine, you know how I feel. I can help you. We can be together and raise this child as our own child,” Bauer says.

“Bauer let's get through today and then we will go from there,” she says.

Smart girl. Don’t jump in his bed just yet. Bauer is a good man. I can see into his heart. He loves her. She needs time to heal before she goes any further. If he will just be patient they will make it.

The two walk back into the office. I am growing extremely fast. This stomach is unbelievable. Why do women do this on purpose? Why did my dumbass accept Walker’s seed into my body?

Jasmine goes over to the desk. She rummages through the keys and finally grabs the master key. “Can you walk?” she asks me.

“I think so,” I say.

I stand up. It is difficult. Look at me the mighty Insanna warrior god knocked up. I could easily vacate this body and let them deal with it. Fuck it. I will do this for Jasmine. She is the much better choice for this baby. My good day will be done.

“Bauer help her,” Jasmine says.

“I will help her but she better keep those damn teeth in check,” he says.

“Keep fucking with me and I will bite you on the ass,” I say to him.

Bauer helps me walk out of the office. I feel like everything is starting to shift inside of me. Walking just a few steps is difficult.

“Bauer pick her up. She cannot walk to the elevator,” Jasmine says.

Bauer reluctantly picks me up and cradles me in his arms. This feels kind of nice. No wonder human women like this. I lay my head on his chest.

“For the love of all that is holy do not bite me,” he says again.

“I won’t. Stop being a pussy,” I say to him.

He carries me to the elevator. I can feel another body close to jump to. Damn, why did I agree to this? I could be out of here right now. I won’t do it. If anything I am a woman of my word.

Jasmine pushes the elevator button. As the elevator opens and Bauer begins to step in I start feeling the worst pain I have ever felt in my life.

“Fuck,” I yell out.

“It is okay. We are not going far,” Jasmine says.

Easy for her to say. She is not about to give birth. I am not mentally prepared for this. This is not something I have ever wanted to do.
