CHAPTER 27

Madison's POV

After chilling around and having so much fun, Mary and I head back to the mansion.

"It was so much fun" I said while sitting on the sofa right next to her.

"Totally fun. It's been ages since I've had such fun."

"The last time I had such fun was with Joseph." I spilled out, regretting ever calling out his name.

I don't know what made me utter his name or the past memories we shared together. I hate so much for causing me pain and also making me lose interest in anyone else.

"I know you made a mistake spitting out his name. That was in the past and this is the present."

"It's okay babe, I'm fine. I was just saying the last time I had such fun but I'm glad you and I just made the best one ever."

"Same here. I've never had such fun ever."

"Oh girl, sorry about that but this one was much more than I had with my ex."

"You've already moved on without him."

"That's right, girl."

"Sure." We both giggled.

"So when are you planning to park for the trip?"

"I'll ask one of the maids to do that later. I still got four hours to prepare and even take a short nap."

"You totally got it. I really need a nap too after all that fun."

"Let's head to our rooms then."

"Sure."

Mark's POV

"Brother, Alex told me you're going to the party with a lady. Tell me, who is she?"

"Alex!" I gritted my teeth.

"Come on, brother. I'm waiting."

"Rosy, she's just my business associate; just don't get influenced by what Alex told you."

"But my boyfriend never tells me something that isn't true. Perhaps, you don't want to tell me how you feel about her."

"Alex has got everything wrong. I assure you, there's nothing between me and her."

Once I get Alex, he won't like what I will do to him.

"Alright, since you say so but man, you need to find a woman soon."

"I will sis."

"Alex, you have no idea what I am going to do to you once you show up tonight." I grumbled.

"Not to my boyfriend. I was the one who asked him to keep me updated on your search so back off from my man."

"Alright baby sis. I won't do anything to him." I raised my hands up in defeat just to make her believe.

"That's more like you." She smiled and walked out of my private office.

I won't spare him no matter how she's going to beg for him. You're so dead, Alex!.

"Boss!" Leo called out from the door.

"Yes, come in."

"Everything is ready."

"Okay, what about the update of Charles' warehouse?"

"We've carried out the job and I'm sure he would have gotten the information."

"He won't have any information about who burned down his warehouses."

"That's right. We did a clean job with no traces left behind."

"Good job. Once it is 5pm, send one of the chauffeurs and some bodyguards to escort Miss Williams here."

"Noted, king."

"That's all."

"Boss, there's more."

"Tell me."

"Jonas, found something else on Charles."

"And what's that?"

"Charles isn't working alone. He has someone he takes orders from."

"Interesting. I know how to find out about that. Tell Jonas to report back to me soon."

"Okay, king."

There are a number of people trying to run but once they get to know I'm the Secret Mafia king, they would wish they never stepped on my toe.

For the person Charles is taking orders from, he might be an old friend I once shared a bond with but once I get hold of him again not even the bond we once shared will stop me from bringing the beast out of me.

He will have a taste of his own medicine for ever coming my way because nobody crosses my bloody sidle and go scott free.

Casabella's POV

I was seated in the living room watching a random soap opera when I heard the horn of a car which I guess was Lora and Annie.

"Gosh! They're back." I mused, pretending to be lost in the movie.

"Couldn't you welcome us when you heard the car horn?" Lora yelled, walked in.

I should have known her silence was for a cause. She's really changed to her usual way. Once evil, forever evil.

"I'm sorry I didn't hear the horning due to the volume I placed on the movie." I lied, laughing within me.

"I know you're saying that on purpose."

"And why are you dressed like this? Did you invite your boyfriend over to my house?"

"I was feeling sweaty in my dress and went with this."

"Puff....like I'll believe all she says." Annie huffed.

"Go to your room dear and get some rest."

"Okay mum."

"While you, go get our luggages from the car."

I'll do your bidding now Lora. I need more time to teach you and your worthless daughter a lesson just to let you guys know who has the upper hand now.

"Okay." I uttered and went outside to get the luggage and took them in along with the help of the driver.

Madison's POV

I was all dressed up with my luggage well packed, waiting for the chauffeur who would pick me up when one of the bodyguards walked up to Mary and I.

"Ma'am, the chauffeur is here to pick you up."

"Alright. Arrange for my luggage to the car."

"Okay ma'am."

"Yeah, babe as I was saying. Once I get back from Spain, we're flying back to London and also make sure to get everything for the both of us."

"You can trust me Maddy."

"Sure. I'm going to miss you."

"It's a one day trip, babe but I'll miss you too." We hugged and parted.

"Bye Maddy."

"Bye babe." I walked out of the house and met five bodyguards who urged me inside the large sedan and got into the other cars. And began our journey to Mr Clinton's mansion.

I wonder what his mansion will look like, maybe an outstanding one like his company.

Mark's POV

I walked out of the shower with a towel tied around my waist line and met Jonas standing.

"Boss, you sent for me?"

"Yes, I got your message. Tell me more about what you found out about Charles?"

"He has a master but I'm still trying to find out the men behind my attack and stealing the details I found out."

"Why didn't you ask for backup? You should have called Leo to help you out!" I yelled.

"I'm sorry king. I thought I could handle them but they were out-numbered and I wasn't with my cell phone at that moment."

"I'm not bothered about the details. I'm worried about you, what if they have gotten to you? You know you're one of my best men and I don't want to lose you.

"I tried to escape but I got a little information about the man."

"I hope you didn't get hurt?"

"I did but it a little."

"Good. Tell me, who the monster is or where to find him?"

"His information is hidden vital but I learnt he's called 'THE DEVIL'S EYE' and he also has a large scar on his left hand side."

"Alright but once I get to find him, he won't make heaven when he sees me. Stop the investigation for now until I get back from Spain."

"Noted, king." He announced and just then there was a knock on the door.

"Come in." I stated and one of the bodyguards I sent to pick Madison walked in.

"She's here, Sir."

"Bring her inside."

"Okay, sir." He responded and walked out while I stared at Jonas.

"You can go, Jonas and inform Leo, you both are following us to Spain."
