CHAPTER 36
Mark's POV
"What do you guys think of this dress?"
"It's beautiful, baby. Go try it out, let's see." Alex suggested.
"Thanks babe. What do you think of the dress, brother?"
"It's pretty. I'm sure you're going to look beautiful in it."
"I'm blushing. I'll go try it out." She smiled and strolled to the dressing room.
"Hey buddy. There's actually something that has been bothering me."
"What could it be?"
"I want to propose to Rosy on her birthday so I'm finding it hard to pick a fancy restaurant."
"Wow man! For how long have you been thinking about it?"
"I think three weeks now."
"Congrats buddy. I'm sure she's going to love it."
"I hope so, man. I still don't know the location of the restaurant to pick."
"Don't worry about that. I've got you covered. Just get a hold of yourself and make sure you make the proposal a blast."
"Thanks bro, I know I could count on you."
"I'm always here for you, buddy. I'm really..." I was still talking when the vibration of my phone in my pants stopped me.
"Hold on Alex, someone is calling." I uttered to him and pulled out the phone to see it was a call from one of the bodyguards outside the mall.
"Hello! What's wrong?"
"We're under attack, sir." His voice bloomed.
"How's that possible? Send some backup inside immediately and prepare the cars."
"Okay sir." He responded and I dropped the call.
"What's wrong bro?"
"We're under attack, Alex. I need you to go and stay over with Rosy in the dressing room while I handle things over there."
"Shit! Who could have done this?"
"I don't know man but just do as I told you."
"Alright. Stay safe buddy."
"I will bro." I replied and made sure he was out of sight before heading towards the entrance of the mall.
I know they're none other than that mother fucker called 'THE DEVIL'S EYE' men. I'll make sure they're all dead.
On getting outside, I found dead bodies of the gunmen who attacked us with some of my bodyguards down while some were injured.
"Where are the rest?" I inquired from one of them.
"Leo and Jonas went after them. They were right on time when the gunmen were firing at us."
"Did you see their faces?"
"Yes, we did but they looked more like trained killers."
"That's alright. Arrange for the cars so we can leave through the back door."
"Okay boss."
Casabella's POV
"Bella, come over here, I want to have a discussion with you."
"Yes, I'm here uncle." I rushed to meet him seated on the sofa along with Lora.
"It has to do with your life and I really want the best for you."
"I'm listening."
"I have decided to plan an arranged marriage for you."
"Arranged marriage?"
"Yes, you'll be getting married to Jace to help collaborate both companies together. As you know, the company is falling out of place for me so I need a booster to bring up the company once again."
"But uncle, you have no right to fix an arranged marriage for me."
"How dare you question my order? Listen well, whether you like it or not, you're getting married to him and that's finally."
"I'm afraid I can't even if you want to."
"You dare not after I nurtured you after your parents died."
"Uncle, I can't stand anymore of this. It has got to end whether you like it or not. I have the right to choose the person I love and I don't love Jace so why force me into an arranged marriage due to your selfish interest!"
"I knew you were going to stand up against my wish. Let me make this clear to you. If you don't accept my demands then I'll make sure I have those orphans who you do spare food to. Do you think I don't have an idea about it? I do, right from the start, I was only observing you."
"How did he know?" I wondered in shock. I can't be the cause of the lives of those poor kids.
I actually met three of the kids who happened to be orphans outside the house last week and decided to help them by offering them food and to always come visit whenever they feel hungry.
Never could I believe my uncle could be this heartless to blackmail me with the innocent kids fighting for survival in this cruel world.
I can't let anything happen to them. I have got no choice than to accept his demand for now and get help from Mr Henry to find a place to keep the kids safe.
Once the plan works perfectly, I'll sneak out of the house even before anything can happen.
"Have you thought about it? Do you accept to marry him or have those poor beggars die because of you."
"I...I accept. I'll get married to him." I shuddered.
"That's more like it." He laughed but Lora kept fuming in anger.
It clearly shows in her face, she isn't happy about it. She's supposed to be since they want to get rid of me.
"I must warn you. On no account should you act like you're forced to get married towards Jace and you mustn't tell anyone how we have been treating you all these years because if you do, I won't hesitate to kill those poor kids in your presence. Is that noted?"
"Okay." I answered with bitterness.
I must contact Mr Henry as soon as possible and inform him of the current situation so as to keep those kids away from my evil uncle and focus on my revenge on Lora and Annie before coming back for the main revenge.
Mark's POV
After taking the back door out of the mall, I instructed Alex to take Rosy to the mansion along with the bodyguards while I waited behind for Leo and Jonas' return.
I ordered the rest of the men who stayed behind to clean up the dead bodies away before getting into the car.
I was going through my phone when I heard a knock on the glass mirror, I slid the mirror down to see it was Jonas and Leo.
"King" They choired.
"Get in." I stated.
"Can someone tell me how this attack happened?"
"They got the information of your current location to kill Rosy so we made sure we tracked them here along with the lite group." Leo said.
"Where are the rest of the men?"
"They're tied up in the hands of the lite group heading to the mansion." Jonas responded.
"That devil's eye is getting on my nerves. He doesn't know whose sister he is after."
"We're close to finding him, boss."
"How about the mission of the people Charles worked with?"
"It was a success. It confirmed he works for the devil's eye who also goes by the name R.D."
"Who the hell is this particular man using two different names?"
"We currently don't have that information yet but we found out he works with a woman."
"Who is she?"
"Her details are also hidden just like the devil's eye. I think they are closely related in some ways."
"Find me one of the best trackers in the world. I must find them at any cost."
"I'll work on it, King."
"Let's head to the mansion." I uttered and Leo pulled down the glass door and urged the driver to get into the car.
"Have Alex and Rosy arrive at the mansion?"
"Yes boss. They're waiting for your arrival." Jonas answered and I nodded.

On getting to the mansion, Leo, Jonas and I head straight to the underground basement where any captive is tortured and locked up when caught at hand.
"Good day King!" The lite crew, about five of them bowed.
"Have they confessed?"
"No, they're yet to." The leader among them replied.
"They're only digging their graves. Where are they?"
"They're right inside."
"They won't leave to see another day." I gritted and walked inside.

After torturing the five of them, one of them finally opened up they haven't seen the devil's eye and only takes order from the captain whose name is Anthony.
I got their secret hideouts and sent Leo and Jonas along with the lite crew to go after the rest of them and bring back their fucking captain to me.
I will stop at nothing to get them and kill them. I still don't get the main reason why they killed my father. Who is the main mastermind behind it and what's their connection with my father? There's so many questions that I need answers on and the only person who has the answers to my questions is 'THE DEVIL'S EYE'.
After instructing five of my bodyguards to watch closely at the captives, I headed towards the mansion and met Alex and Rosy strolling up and down with tense looks on their faces.
"Is everything okay?" I enquired, making myself known to them.
"Buddy! Are you alright?" Alex called out and rushed towards me.
"Brother, are you okay?"
"Calm down guys. I am okay." I chuckled, walking towards her.
"I thought those bandits got to you, brother."
"No, they didn't. What could possibly happen to me?"
"It's not funny brother. I thought I had lost you when I didn't see you." She hit me on my chest and broke down in tears.
"Shh... I'm sorry. You can't lose me, okay. I'm always right next to you."
