One could hear a pin drop in the wedding hall.
Everyone’s face was confused and their eyes glazed over.
They were wondering if they misheard.
‘Even Vice Governor He’s son has to call that boy Brother?
‘This… This is totally ridiculous!
‘Who was Vice Governor He but the fourth-ranked government official in the province? His son is no mundane person either, and he has to call that boy Brother?’
Wang Guifen and Shi Xuebin stood there, dumbstruck.
In Wang Guifen’s eyes, Tang Hao was a detestable poor relative. However, that detestable poor relative had suddenly become someone important and was connected to the Vice Governor’s son. It was as ridiculous as a fairy tale.
Meanwhile, Zhu Wenke and his wife changed their expressions. They even looked fearful.
They were regretting their earlier actions.
Tang Hao stood up and told the bosses. “Thank you for your name cards. We’ll meet again some other day!”
Then, he turned to talk to Shi Dazhu, “Let’s go, Bro Dazhu! They don’t welcome us here anyway. What’s the point of staying here and being humiliated?”
Shi Dazhu and Gao Ying finally came to their senses from the momentous shock.
“Yes! Let’s leave! It’s bad luck to stay at this wedding banquet!” Shi Dazhu said angrily as he stood up.
Then, he held Gao Ying’s hand and prepared to leave.
“Hey! Why are you leaving? There’s no rush!” President Chen and the others were anxious.
It was rare to encounter Young Master Tang, and they wanted to use the opportunity to build relations with him. If Young Master Tang left, they did not know the next time they would meet!
“Someone’s not happy to see us here. What’s the point of us staying?” Tang Hao said coldly.
Then, he gave a side-eye toward Wang Guifen, Zhu Wenke, and his wife.
“What? Is that true? You must be out of your mind, Boss Zhu! Young Master Tang is extending his courtesy to you by attending your daughter’s wedding, and you’re asking him to leave?”
The bosses were looking incredulously at Zhu Wenke.
‘Zhu Wenke, you are a total idiot!’ They were thinking.
Zhu Wenke’s face turned red from embarrassment.
He was feeling a little guilty for not finding out the boy’s true background before accusing him of causing a scene.
President Chen and the other bosses looked at Zhu Wenke coldly when they saw him react that way. They knew that Boss Zhu must have somehow crossed Young Master Tang, and they ought to keep a distance from him.
If they remained to be friendly to Boss Zhu, that might offend Young Master Tang!
Long Jiang Group imploded after the Han family dinner party. They did not know how that happened, but they knew that it was related to Young Master Tang.
They could not afford to cross such a powerful figure.
“If you’re leaving, Young Master Tang, then we’ll leave too!”
“Right, let’s leave together! We can find somewhere and have a drink!” They said frantically.
Zhu Wenke’s face turned pale when he heard that. Cold sweat started pouring from his forehead.
It looked like those bosses were going to cut ties with him.
“Young… Young Master Tang… I am sorry!” Zhu Wenke immediately bowed. “Please sit down. Don’t leave!”
He sounded almost like he was begging.
“Don’t go, Lil Hao! Your Second Uncle was wrong. It’s your cousin brother’s wedding banquet today, how could we start the festivities without you?” Shi Xuebin said urgently.
Wang Guifen forced a smile on her face. “I was wrong, Lil Hao. Please stay!”
Tang Hao smirked when he saw that.
‘Look at how fast they change their attitudes!
‘Earlier, they had mocked and looked down upon us. Now, they’re being so friendly. What a joke!’
Even Shi Dazhu also smirked.
“Dazhu, can you persuade Lil Hao to stay? We’re all relatives. There’s no need to hold a grudge against us!” Shu Xuebin said to Shi Dazhu.
“Hmph! You’ve finally remembered that we’re relatives?” Shi Dazhu said angrily.
Shi Xuebin’s face stiffened.
“Second Uncle, it’s an auspicious event today, and I don’t want to cause you too much trouble. I’ll stay for the banquet, but on one condition,” Tang Hao said.
“What is it? You can tell me!” Shi Xuebin said.
“It’s been a few years since you visited your parents, right?” Tang Hao said coldly.
“Well…” Shi Xuebin immediately felt ashamed.
“You might look down upon Dragonrock Village and its villagers, but how could you forsake your parents? You haven’t visited Grandpa and Grandma for several years!
“Can you even consider yourself human for how you treat your parents?” Tang Hao chided sternly.
Shi Xuebin lowered his head and was extremely embarrassed.
“You’d better go back to Dragonrock Village after the wedding with Cousin Brother and the others. Visit Grandpa and Grandma and apologize to them!”
Shi Xuebin bit his lip and nodded firmly.
“Yes, Lil Hao, I am wrong! I shouldn’t have treated Dad and Mom that way!” He was beginning to sob. “When this is over, I’ll bring Zelei back to visit Dad and Mom!”
Tang Hao grunted coldly and sat down.
He did not care much for Second Uncle and his family, but he knew that Grandpa and Grandma were very sad about their second son’s attitude.
Grandpa and Grandma had two sons and a daughter. The daughter, who was Tang Hao’s mother, had passed away at a young age. It was a great agony for parents to bury their children.
The second son was an unfilial child who had forgotten his village roots, and that had made the two elders even sadder.
If Second Uncle would return to Dragonrock Village and apologize to Grandpa and Grandma, that would make them very happy.
“Hey, you don’t mind switching seats, right?” President Chen turned to speak to the people sitting at the same table with Tang Hao.
Those people were shocked and they looked awkward.
They had looked down upon the three people earlier, but ironically, they were the ones who were requested to move elsewhere.
More people came from all over the hall to swap seats with the people sitting at that table.
“Young Master Tang! This is my name card, let us be acquainted!” They said respectfully while handing over their name cards.
The atmosphere in the wedding hall became a little weird after that little episode.
The people stole glances at that table in the middle of the hall.
Billionaire bosses were sitting there and chatting casually with a teenager!
Soon, the banquet started and the festive mood resumed.
After the end of the wedding, Tang Hao sent Bro Dazhu and his wife to the train station.
They had already bought their return ticket on their way here.
Then, he returned to his apartment, drove his Audi A8, picked up Han Yutong, and returned to Westridge District.
It was already about four o’clock in the afternoon when they reached Westridge District.
Tang Hao drove straight to the company to meet Liu Yan to be updated about the happenings in the company while he was away and to inspect some documents.
In the evening, he drove his car to pick up Sis Xiangyi.
As the saying went, “Absence makes the heart grow fonder”.
They were separated for more than ten days, and the two people enjoyed their intimate time in bed.
