Chapter 246 - I Can Explain
Zhao Qingxue was slumped over in the back seat of Tang Hao’s car.
Her jet-black hair was scattered all over, which obscured her drunken face.
Tang Hao was speechless when he looked at her.
Fortunately, he knew where she lived. Otherwise, he would not know where to deposit her.
He arrived at her residential area after about ten minutes of driving.
Tang Hao helped her walk up the stairs.
“Ah, T… Tang Hao! Let… Let me ask y… you, did y… you do it on pur… purpose last time?” Zhao Qingxue mumbled.
“What last time?” Tang Hao was stunned.
“The… The prostitution crackdown!”
“What the hell?” Tang Hao mumbled. The incident was a very long time ago, but she remembered it.
“I did not do it on purpose, of course,” Tang Hao said seriously.

As she spoke, her head leaned over and rested on Tang Hao’s shoulder. Her breath smelled of alcohol.
When they were at the door, Tang Hao retrieved the keys from her handbag and opened it.
They stepped into the house. Tang Hao carried her to the couch and laid her down.
The alcohol in the red wine was kicking in full effect. Her eyes were barely open. She mumbled something, then flipped to one side and curled up on the couch.
Tang Hao sat next to her and breathed a sigh of relief.
He lifted his head to look at her again and blushed.
From his angle, he could see her exposed cleavage.
Tang Hao quickly averted his gaze. Then, he agonized over a problem.
It was still early in the afternoon. If she fell asleep now, there was no telling when she would wake up. It would be quite troublesome if she slept through the entire day and woke up in the middle of the night.
At the same time, he did not want to leave her alone in the house.
“You shouldn’t drink so much if you don’t have a high alcohol tolerance!” Tang Hao mumbled to himself.

It was normal for people to overdrink during business dinners. A tea that would instantly sober up someone should be very popular.

Even if he could figure out the recipe for the sobriety potion, it would still be a long time before it would be released to the market.
Tang Hao sat there and started thinking.
Soon, he waved his hands and several medicinal herbs appeared on the table in front of him.
Then, he retrieved the medicinal bowl and other utensils from his pocket dimension.
He arranged them neatly on the table. Then, he placed the herbs in his palm and held them for a while.
With a higher cultivation base, it was easier for him to activate the potency of the herbs.
He quickly activated all the herbs. Then, he placed them one by one into the bowl and pounded them with a pestle.
About five minutes later, he poured the liquid out and obtained a small bowl of green liquid.
That was the sobriety potion.
He put it closer to his nose and smelled. It had a light fragrance.
“This should be quite potent!” He said to himself while nodding.
He took a teacup, poured a little liquid into it, then diluted it with tea.
He took the sobriety tea and walked next to Zhao Qingxue.
“Officer Zhao?”
Tang Hao gently shoved her shoulder and called her name.
Zhao Qingxue mumbled something and there was no further response.
“Get up and take this medicine!” Tang Hao shoved her again. Seeing that there was no response from her, Tang Hao put the teacup down, then propped her up by the shoulders and leaned her against the couch.
Then, he sat down, picked up the teacup, and prepared to feed her the tea.
Suddenly, she wobbled and fell onto his body.
Her enchanting body fragrance invaded Tang Hao’s nostrils.
Tang Hao’s entire body stiffened.
Officer Zhao’s body was too attractive. It was pure torture.
Tang Hao immediately dashed any deviant thoughts and calmed himself down. Then, he took the teacup and fed her the tea with much difficulty.
Tang Hao breathed a sigh of relief when the last sip of tea went into Zhao Qingxue’s mouth. He immediately stood up, then sat on another couch.
He sat there while observing her.
He estimated that the tea would take effect in about five minutes. In another ten minutes, she would be fully sober.
About two minutes later, the doorbell rang.
Tang Hao was shocked. ‘Who is looking for her now?’
He walked to the door and looked through the peephole. Tang Hao was immediately confused.
Outside the door was Captain Zhao whom he had met in Provincial City!
‘Why is he here?
‘Right, both of them have the surname Zhao. Don’t tell me they’re related?’ Tang Hao immediately had an idea, though he could only find that incredibly coincidental.
Captain Zhao was determined to arrest him. It would be an awkward situation if they bumped into each other!
He turned around to see Officer Zhao still drunk and slumped on the couch. That would easily cause a big misunderstanding.
The doorbell continued ringing.
Tang Hao decided that he should only open the door after Officer Zhao [woke up.
However, he did not expect that Zhao Wuyang took out a door key and prepared to open the door.
Tang Hao had no other choice but to open the door.
“Where were you earlier, Qingxue?” Zhao Wuyang saw the door open and immediately asked.
Then, he stiffened when he saw the person standing behind the door.
Then, he straightened his brows and his eyes shot a piercing gaze. “Why are you here, Tang kid?” He was about to pounce on Tang Hao.
He instinctively thought that Tang Hao was taking revenge on him by stalking Zhao Qingxue.
“Listen to my explanation, Captain Zhao!” Tang Hao said while stepping backward.
Zhao Wuyang rushed into the apartment. He nearly exploded when he saw Zhao Qingxue slumped on the couch with her eyes closed.
“You despicable person! Fight me if you have a problem with me! Don’t touch my family. Tell me, what did you do to my younger sister?” Zhao Wuyang said while he glared at Tang Hao.
“She’s your younger sister?” Tang Hao blurted.
“Hah! You’re still playing dumb? Aren’t you targeting her because you know that she’s my younger sister?” Zhao Wuyang said sternly.
“I really don’t know that!”
“Still playing dumb? You despicable rascal!” Zhao Wuyang roared and pounced on him.
Tang Hao rolled his eyes. There was no use reasoning with a man who was blind with rage!
‘Whatever! I’ll just let my fists do the talking!’
Tang Hao did not hold back. Several quick bouts later, Zhao Wuyang was sprawled on the floor.
“Kill me if you have the guts, Tang kid! Don’t touch my younger sister! I’m the one you should be taking revenge on!” Zhao Wuyang pushed himself to his feet. His face was already bruised and swollen.
“What the hell? Why do I want to kill you? I don’t have a grudge against you either!” Tang Hao was exasperated.
At that moment, Zhao Qingxue on the couch mumbled and slowly woke up.
