“Now, they’re returning to their hometown and they plan to invest in Westridge.

“The Xue family is quite powerful. If they’re really pumping their money here, then they’ll be the head honchos in the Westridge business world. I’ve got to get myself acquainted with them.

Tang Hao’s expression changed slightly.

That businessman’s surname was Xue and he was from Southport. He must be related to that Xue Kai.

Tang Hao thought about it for a while and agreed to it.

There was nothing to be afraid about. He wanted to know more about the Xue family.

He got the address of the party from Liu Dajun, then told Sis Xiangyi about it.

Many luxury cars were parked at the venue.

Tang Hao parked his car, and both of them walked to the venue hand in hand.

There was a small commotion when they arrived at the front entrance.

Everyone who was at the front entrance turned to behold the beautiful figure.

The figure was tall and slender. Her evening gown had brought out the curves of her perfect body very well.

Her face was one that could launch a thousand ships.

Everyone’s eyes glazed over when they saw her approach. A while later, they came to their senses and exclaimed in surprise.

“Greetings, Boss Tang! Long time no see!” They crowded around Tang Hao and greeted him.

All the business owners in Westridge District knew who Tang Hao was. The kid had started a healthcare products company at a young age and had achieved booming sales. He was a rising star in the business world of Westridge.

Furthermore, he had many powerful people backing him, including the top leaders in the district government.

If there was one person that they could not afford to cross, Tang Hao was that person.

Tang Hao returned the greeting to each one of them.

Another commotion happened when they entered the event hall.

“You’re here, Lil Tang!”

Liu Dajun and the others came to greet him.

“See that person over there, Lil Tang? That’s him.” Liu Dajun pointed a finger at the middle of the hall, where four people were standing and chatting while holding wine glasses.

Tang Hao knew three of them. They were the pioneers of the Westridge business world. The other person whom he did not recognize must be Xue Cheng from Southport.

Tang Hao examined him closely. Xue Cheng was a tall and well-built man in his fifties. He had a gentlemanly and bookish face. At that moment, he was chatting intently with the three people.

“The Xue family is quite well-connected in Westridge. Old Master Xue is very good friends with the three pioneers. Everyone was shocked and started whispering to each other.

Xue Cheng turned to look at his son and was shocked. “What happened…?”
