Chapter 331 - An Invitation From Liu Bingyao
The morning sun was bright and warm.
Tang Hao sat on the porch. In front of him were two teeth, each the size of his arm. It was white throughout and looked like elephant tusks.
Those were the teeth of a sea dragon.
A sea dragon was somewhat considered a dragon. It [was not a normal animal]. In modern times, they were considered legendary animals. A sea dragon’s teeth were extremely hard, even harder than steel.
Dragon claws were even harder than dragon teeth.
Tang Hao managed to obtain cutting tools from General Bai.
He had broken down most of the other teeth into many small pieces in the shape of throwing knives. He was sharpening the remaining two teeth to turn them into short swords.
He picked up one of those teeth and sharpened it with one of the dragon claw throwing knives.
A long time passed when his phone suddenly rang.
Tang Hao looked at his phone. The call was from Liu Bingyao.
He put the things in his hands down on the floor and answered the call.
“Hey! Tang Hao!” Liu Bingyao’s sweet and clear voice was heard over the phone. “Are you free this morning?”
“I don’t have anything going on,” Tang Hao said.
Liu Bingyao hesitated for a bit and said, “Can you accompany me on a date? If you can, find even more people to come. The more the better.”
“What’s wrong?” Tang Hao was surprised.
“It’s like this. My cousin brother asked me out today.”
“Cousin brother?”
“Yes! He lives in Provincial City too. Two days ago, I visited their family, and I met someone there…” She hesitated for a while and continued, “My cousin brother seems to be quite eager. He’s invited me out a few times already.”
Tang Hao understood what she was saying. Her cousin brother must be matching her with someone.
Given her looks, it was normal for her to have many pursuers.
“I can’t decline him anymore this time, and I had to agree to his invitation. I’m not at ease whenever I’m with him. He doesn’t seem like a dependable guy,” Liu Bingyao said, a little worried.
Tang Hao understood her concerns. She had a bad encounter with a pursuer before. She must have been affected by that experience.
Furthermore, her life was in danger when she was dragged into Tang Hao’s incident.
As far as he knew, Liu Bingyao very rarely went out with other people ever since the Liu Jiawei incident. Most of the time, she remained in her dorm.
“Alright!” Tang Hao agreed to it. “How about I get Cao Fei and the others?”
“OK! I’ll bring a few other girls too,” Liu Bingyao replied, “Let’s meet at the entrance of the university later.”
After ending the call, Tang Hao packed up the weapons, changed into a set of clean clothes, then gave Cao Fei a call.
Cao Fei was immediately excited when he heard that Liu the Beauty Queen was inviting him out with some other girls. He agreed to it without any hesitation.
Tang Hao could even hear a wolf howl from the other end of the call.
‘What the hell? Are those guys that desperate?’ Tang Hao was speechless.
He left the house. He did not drive his car but instead took a bus to the entrance to Z University. A while later, Cao Fei and the other boys appeared. Each one of them was dressed to the nines. They even styled their hair and sprayed cologne.
Even the way they walked was different.
“What are you guys doing?” Tang Hao rolled their eyes.
“Trying to score ourselves a chick, of course!” Cao Fei said bashfully, “This doesn’t happen very often. We won’t let go of the chance.”
Tang Hao cringed.
They waited for a while and noticed four figures coming from the university. They were tall, slender, and were dressed trendily.
The one walking in front was the most breathtaking among them.
She wore a loose white woolen top and a pair of jeans. Her clothes were simple, but it carried a different aura on her.
The simple clothes did not diminish her beauty by even one bit.
“Wow, they’re all pretty girls!”
Cao Fei and the other boys exclaimed. Their eyes were transfixed on the three girls walking behind Liu Bingyao.
“Tang Hao!” Liu Bingyao quickly walked over and greeted Tang Hao with her sweet voice.
Her beautiful eyes were sparkling.
Tang Hao smiled at her. He was relieved when he saw that she was wearing the blood jade bead he gave her. He then nodded at the other girls.
Those girls were in the same department as Liu Bingyao.
They stood at the university entrance and waited. About eight minutes later, they noticed a Bentley driving toward them from one end of the road.
The car stopped near them. They could see two people sitting inside. The driver was a young man of about twenty years old. He was handsome but looked effeminate.
In the passenger seat was a young man in his mid-twenties. He looked more rugged.
The two people in the car were surprised when they saw the crowd.
The young man in the passenger seat got out of the car and shouted. “What are you doing, Cousin Sister?” He sounded as though he was complaining.
His cousin sister had asked him if she could bring some friends. He thought that she would only bring one or two female friends with her, and so he agreed to it. He did not expect that she would bring a crowd, and half of them were boys.
She should have known why he asked her out, but she brought that many boys with her anyway. She was deliberately causing him trouble!
He became anxious instantly.
The other young man in the car was his boss’s son. He planned to match his cousin sister to her so that he could gain his boss’s favor. He did not expect that his cousin sister would pull off such a stunt.
In the car, the other young man’s expression became unpleasant.
“Cousin Brother, you told me that I could bring some friends with me. If I can’t do that, then I’m not going with you,” Liu Bingyao said as she prepared to turn around and leave.
“Don’t!” The young man shouted.
Then, he scuttled into the car. “What should we do, Young Master Li?”
Young Master Li glanced at the young man and looked disdainful. “Those few guys? They’re just poor losers. They won’t pose a threat. Just treat it as their lucky day today. We’ll just bring them along!”
Then, his eyes sparkled when he looked at the other girls. “Wow, Z University has many beautiful girls!
“Brother Zhuo, go get two more cabs and bring them along!”
Zhuo Yang nodded. He got out of the car and said to Liu Bingyao, “Let’s bring everyone along, Cousin Sister! Give me a minute while I call two cabs.”
Young Master Li got out of the car and smiled eagerly as he walked over.
“You’re so beautiful today, Bingyao! Nice meeting you, beautiful ladies!”
His eyes flashed with disdain as his gaze swept over Tang Hao and the other boys.
He was very willing to bring the beautiful ladies along to the date, but unfortunately, half of them were poor loser guys and were nothing but an eyesore!
However, he had to agree to bring them along, so that he could showcase his generosity.
He glanced at the boys again and said nothing, then his gaze returned to the girls.
“Let’s go to the best karaoke center in the city, Bingyao. Then, we’ll go to dinner. Right, we’ll go to Magical Kitchen. I’ve heard that the food there is very good.”
