Young Master Li stood there with a miserable face.
He knew that he was in great trouble. He tried to show off but failed, and he had crossed the wrong people. He would be skinned alive once home.
“Dammit, why are there so many big shots here? This is ridiculous!” He mumbled to himself.
He knew that Magical Kitchen was a famous restaurant, but he thought that it was famous because it served delicious food. He did not expect that a small restaurant could have so many important people gathered there.
If he had known that, he would not have gone there in the first place.
At that moment, not only he was shocked, but Cao Fei and the other people watching from the staircase were also shocked.
Judging from Young Master Li’s expression, they could guess who those customers were.
Then, Cao Fei and the others looked at each other and laughed.
“Serves him right for being arrogant! He’s in trouble now!”
Young Master Li returned to the group. His head was lowered and did not dare to look at Tang Hao and the others.
“Bingyao, beautiful ladies, let’s go. We’ll have lunch somewhere else!” He spoke to Liu Bingyao and the other people.
He felt extremely embarrassed at the moment. His voice was quite soft.
The girls turned around and followed him down the stairs.
Suddenly, Tang Hao spoke. “We’re already here anyway. Let’s eat here!”
Everyone was surprised. They turned to look at him.
“There are so many people downstairs. We’ll have to queue for a long time, right?” One of the girls spoke hesitantly.
Young Master Li was frustrated and had been looking for an outlet to release his anger. He exploded on Tang Hao, “Dammit, are you blind? Can’t you see that there are no private rooms? Go get in line if you want to eat here that badly! I don’t have the time to waste with you here.
“Let’s go, beautiful ladies! Let’s ignore him!”
He turned around and prepared to head downstairs.
Tang Hao smirked. “We don’t have to queue.”
Everyone was shocked again when they heard that.
Young Master Li burst out laughing. “Haha! Are my ears playing tricks on me? You don’t have to queue? Where are you going to eat then? Who do you think you are? You’re just a poor loser! Don’t tell me that you’re more important than me?”
Young Master Li could only find it extremely ridiculous. Even someone like him could not get a table, so how would that poor loser student get a seat? That was a total joke!
Even Cao Fei and the other boys were doubtful of Tang Hao’s claim.
They knew that Tang Hao was rich, but if Young Master Li failed to get a table, how was Tang Hao able to?
Tang Hao glanced at Young Master Li coldly, then turned around to speak to the restaurant manager downstairs. “Let’s open up Room Number 1,” he said calmly.
Young Master Li laughed again. “Ha, what a boast! Who do you think you are? And you want Room Number 1 too? Aren’t the rooms already full?”
He froze in place when he heard the restaurant manager reply “Yes!” courteously.
His eyes opened wide and he wondered if he had misheard.
He became livid immediately. “F*ck your mother. Didn’t you say that you don’t have any vacant rooms earlier? Why is there a room now?”
“Room Number 1 is an extra-large private room that can hold more than twenty people. It is not available for reservation yet. We will only open the room for reservation when we introduce full courses in the future,” the restaurant manager said impassively.
“So why didn’t you say that earlier? How can you open that room for him?” Young Master Li said angrily.
The restaurant manager rolled his eyes and looked at Young Master Li as though looking at an idiot. “That’s because he’s the second boss of the restaurant. If I don’t listen to him, should I listen to you instead?”
Young Master Li trembled. His eyes opened wide with incredulity.
“Wh… What did you say… He’s… your… second boss?” He stammered.
“That’s right!”
Young Master Li’s jaw dropped and he went cross-eyed.
Liu Bingyao also opened her mouth slightly as she looked at Tang Hao stupendously. Cao Fei and the others were dumbfounded.
‘After all that fuss, you’re telling me that Brother Hao is the boss of this restaurant?
‘Brother Hao runs the incredibly famous Magical Kitchen?
‘That… that’s incredible!’
“That’s impossible! Didn’t Tai An open this restaurant?” Young Master Li said, clutching at straws.
“Tai An Group owns half of the shares. The other half is owned by Boss Tang.”
“What? Half the shares?” Young Master Li could only find this incredulous.
‘If that guy held half the shares of the restaurant, that meant that he was at equal standing with Tai An Group. How would a large corporation like Tai An Group sign an agreement with that poor loser?
‘Just who is he?’
“Let’s go in! Oh, not you two. You’d better find somewhere else to get lunch!” He said as he glanced coldly at Young Master Li and Liu Bingyao’s cousin brother.
Then, he turned to speak to the manager. “Right, please let Master Chef Ding know that I’ll be using the kitchen to cook lunch.”
The manager agreed, then left hurriedly.
Tang Hao walked up the stairs to the third floor.
“Hey, Boss Tang!”
“Grandmaster Tang!”
The people in the corridor greeted Tang Hao warmly.
Tang Hao returned their greetings one by one.
Cao Fei and the others were once again dumbfounded when they saw the scene. Young Master Li was deathly afraid of those people, but those people were so friendly and even respectful toward Tang Hao.
That was beyond their imagination!
After bringing his friends into Room Number 1, Tang Hao said, “Please sit down! I’ll be your chef for the day.”
“F*ck me, Brother Tang, you know how to cook too?” Cao Fei was surprised.
Even Liu Bingyao opened her eyes wide as she regarded Tang Hao.
She did not know that Tang Hao knew how to cook either.
“I’m not bad I guess. I’m the one who invented this magical cuisine!” Tang Hao said with a smile. Then, he left the room, leaving the people behind with incredulous looks.
Tang Hao used the sea dragon meat in the dishes.
He received a third of the entire sea dragon last time. That was too much for one person. He had no qualms about treating his friends to some.
About an hour later, an incredible fragrance wafted throughout the entire Magical Kitchen. All the customers seemed intoxicated when they smelled it.
Then, they became incredibly excited.
“What’s this dish? Why is it so fragrant?”
“Hey, waiter! I want to order this dish!”
The fragrance wafted on the street, which caused an even bigger commotion.
When Tang Hao returned to the third floor with the restaurant cart, a commotion spread throughout the entire floor. Old Master Luo and the others gathered around him. Their eyes sparkled.
“What dish is this, Boss Tang?”
They swallowed hard and looked eagerly at Tang Hao.
“If I say that this is dragon meat, would you believe me?” Tang Hao said with a smile.
“Dragon meat? How is that possible? If dragons were real though, I think that’s how they should taste!” Everyone exclaimed.
Tang Hao smiled and gave them some of the meat, then returned to Room Number 1.
“F*ck! What meat is this? Why is it so delicious?” Cao Fei exclaimed when he ate the sea dragon meat.
They finished the dishes quickly. Even the girls were bloated from all the food.
Tang Hao made a lot of dragon meat dishes that day. He saved some for Ling Wei, Vice Governor He, and the others. After sending Liu Bingyao and the others back to the university, he went around delivering the meat.
He did not forget about giving some to Officer Zhao. However, he was too embarrassed to meet her and therefore passed it to her brother.
Of course, he saved some for Han Yutong too.
He picked up Han Yutong and went back together to Westridge.
