The next morning, Tang Hao went to the university.
He sat next to the window and nibbled on a stuffed jianbing.
As he ate, he flipped the pages of his textbook.
“Tang Hao?”
Many students were surprised to see him when they walked into the classroom. Tang Hao’s presence in university had been elusive. The last time he came to class was more than a month ago.
“Hey, Tang Hao! Look at this, he looks almost like you…”
Several girls came over and showed him their phones.
Tang Hao took a look. It was a photo of him in the hospital lobby from the day before.
“He really looks like you!”
They held up their phones to Tang Hao’s face.
However, they did not suspect that the person in those photos was really Tang Hao. After all, the person in the photos was a divine doctor in the far-away Capital.
Tang Hao smiled sheepishly. “It’s just a coincidence…”
The girls happily went away.
Very soon, Liu Feifei, the class representative, came into the class. She was surprised when she saw Tang Hao and walked toward his seat.
“Why have you been absent for so long, Tang Hao?”
“I was busy at work!” Tang Hao said with a smile.
“Oh!” Liu Feifei replied and did not ask any further questions.
She suddenly thought of something. “Right, Tang Hao, are you free this weekend? Will you come to the spring outing?”
“Spring outing?” Tang Hao was surprised.
“Yes, it’s this weekend. The entire class will be going, and about twenty other classes too. Right, the beauty queen’s class will be joining.”
Liu Feifei smiled mischievously when she said that.
Naturally, she knew about the rumors between Tang Hao and the beauty queen.
“Where are we going?” Tang Hao asked.
He was quite interested. After all, he did not have anything going on that weekend. Perhaps it was a good idea to mingle with kids of his age.
“Haha, I’ve got your attention! We’ll be going to Fragrant Cloud Mountain. It’s a famous camping spot. We plan to go there Saturday morning, camp there overnight, and return on Sunday morning.”
Tang Hao thought for a while and agreed to join.
The next two days passed in the blink of an eye, and it was soon Saturday.
Tang Hao left his apartment very early in the morning. He was dressed plainly in a white button-down shirt and jeans.
Many students were already gathered at the university entrance. They were grouped according to their classes.
Every one of them carried their backpacks and looked excited. Some of them were dressed rather trendily.
“Over here, Brother Hao!”
Cao Fei and the others waved at Tang Hao and shouted.
Tang Hao was shocked when he saw them. Those people were dressed to the nines. They styled their hair with mousse and wore cologne.
“What… What are you guys doing?” Tang Hao said, confused.
“Spring outing! At the same time… score some chicks!” Cao Fei said coolly.
Tang Hao was speechless. He rolled his eyes.
He started chatting with them about nothing in particular.
More and more people arrived. A short while later, there was a commotion. “The beauty queen is here!” Someone shouted.
The commotion gradually spread throughout the entire crowd.
Tang Hao lifted his head and looked at the source of the commotion. He noticed that several girls were walking from that direction. They were very beautiful, especially the girl in the middle. She was none other than Liu Bingyao.
She was dressed in a pair of tight-fitting jeans, a white shirt, and a pair of white sneakers. That was different from her usual style.
Those seemingly plain clothes looked trendy and attractive on her.
She wore a sports cap, and underneath that, she tied her hair in a ponytail. She looked sporty and youthful.
Her ponytail bobbed as she walked. She wore a charming smile on her face.
Her tall and slender body carried a sexy allure.
Everyone’s gaze fell on her body. Some looked at her admiringly, some obsessively, and some enviously.
Even Tang Hao widened his eyes.
Liu Bingyao had always worn dresses which made her look elegant. Her clothes today brought out a different side of her.
She continued walking as everyone looked at her. She stopped in front of Tang Hao and smiled at him.
The smile was as invigorating as a fresh spring breeze.
Even Tang Hao was caught in a daze. Cao Fei and the others had it worse; they were utterly captivated.
The boys around Tang Hao were wailing and howling while staring daggers at Tang Hao.
“Dammit, why is the beauty queen so blind to choose that loser? Look at him, he’s dressed up like a bum. She should have picked me, look at how handsome I am! Why doesn’t the beauty queen choose me?”
“Are you an idiot? That guy is rich! He’s a windfall tycoon! Who do you think you are?”
“Curses, so what if he’s rich?”
Many people were cursing and complaining loudly.
Meanwhile, a group of people came in from the other side. The person in the lead was a tall and handsome young man dressed in a neat black suit. His leather shoes were sparkling and his hair was styled impeccably.
He looked like the typical rich kid from a wealthy family.
A group of people followed behind him. One of them was Tang Bowen.
Fang Qiming walked toward the crowd with his chest puffed up.
Many students looked at him with respectful gazes, though the others regarded him curiously.
However, he was satisfied that the majority respected him.
After the last incident, he became the talk of the town. People made fun of his naked rampage, and some even joked about the size of his member.
A tear would slide down his face whenever he was reminded of that shameful episode.
That was the darkest period of his young life, and he only managed to weather through it by sheer willpower. He would rather not relive those times.
Now that the incident was mostly forgotten, he was once again the glamorous president of the Student Council.
He was there at the spring outing for revenge. That Tang kid had humiliated him in front of everyone.
That was a grudge that he would bear with him for the rest of his life. He would not be Fang Qiming if he did not take his revenge.
Ever since he caught wind that Tang Hao would be joining the sprint outing, he had been plotting various ways of getting back at him.
He wanted to see that Tang kid thoroughly humiliated.
As he thought of that, he narrowed his eyes resentfully.
He scanned the area and his eyes fell on Tang Hao. He also saw Liu Bingyao standing next to him.
He gritted his teeth. His eyes were almost spewing fire.
“Just you wait, you filthy kid, I’ll make sure that you’re ruined this time!” He said through gritted teeth.
