The people continued to wait in the mountain.
They dared not take on the golden snarler directly in case other people took advantage of them.
More and more people came. They did not charge forward when they saw everyone else waiting.
Tang Hao was starting to feel bored.
All the beasts were dead, so there was nothing else to do. The people stood there and stared at each other.
In the evening, the people saw a streak of red light in the sky. When they looked closer, they saw a scarlet bird with feathers as bright as a burning flame.
Another figure rode on the back of the bird.
“Another person is coming!”
Everyone looked up at it curiously.
“Damn! It’s not a person, it’s a monkey!”
After seeing clearly, the crowd was in an uproar.
“It’s a raksha!”
Everyone was surprised and curious at the same time. Rakshas were a rare sight in the Ninth Continent, and they were virtually unseen in the borderlands. Many people had only heard of them from rumors.
“A raksha? Why would it appear here?”
The three people from the Ye Kingdom were also somewhat puzzled.

The golden snarler replied by shooting another bolt of golden lightning.
The falling monkey was struck. It yelped, and its fur was charred.
“F*ck you upside down!”
The monkey was furious and roared, “I’ll kill you if you do that again. Wargh! You did it again! I’ll fight you!”
He got to its feet and bared his teeth furiously.
He stomped his foot and pounced toward the golden snarler.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
An intense battle broke out.
“This is our chance!”
The people watched the fight for a while and realized that the monkey had created a distraction for them.
“Charge!”
Everyone roared loudly and surged up the mountain.
They did not care if the treasure was meant for the rakshas. They would want to get their hands on it anyway.
Tang Hao rushed in together with the crowd.
“What… what are you all doing? You humans are too despicable. Get lost!” The monkey was anxious.
No one paid him any attention. Everyone rolled their eyes at him and ran even faster.
“Wargh!” Monkey was hopping mad.
As they rushed forward, they saw a ray of light coming from a crack in the mountain in front of them. They could tell from the color and intensity that it was a treasure light.
“Over there!”
Everyone’s eyes glinted with enthusiasm and greed as they rushed towards the crack.
“Get lost! The treasure is mine!”
“Go to hell!”
The people started to fight as they got closer to the crack. Everyone wanted to be the first to go in.
The Golden Core cultivators were fighting the most intensely. There were about thirty of them fighting each other with their Artifacts.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Shockwaves rippled in all directions as the weapons clashed.
“All of you get lost. The treasure belongs to the Ye Kingdom. I’ll wipe out the entire family of whoever dares to stand in my way!”
The Ye Kingdom’s crown prince shouted brazenly.
The two old men protected him as he rushed into the crack.
“Hah, what a boast! Wipe out my entire family? Even your father doesn’t dare to say that!”
The group of Golden Core cultivators shouted angrily.
As they continued to fight, they entered the crack one after another.
Tang Hao kept dodging the attacks that were directed at him.
