Early in the morning, a convoy of carriages drove into Nanping City.
They were all drawn by white steeds, and each of the carriages carried the emblem of an auspicious beast.
The carriages did not slow down at all as they rampaged through the city streets.
“It’s the Tianlu Merchant Guild. They’re here again!” The people on the streets cried out. They seemed indignant.
“Damn those bastards!” Someone gritted his teeth and cursed angrily.
Everyone in Nanping City knew that the people from the Tianlu Merchant Guild had been coming every day. Those people had taken a fancy to the rejuvenation pill recipe of Ritian Pavilion and wanted to force Storekeeper Tang to sell it at a low price.

The young man walked over and stepped on it.

The signboard shattered.

The young man stomped on the signboard and yelled loudly.

The young man walked into the store with his hands behind his back and looked at Zhao Liu contemptuously.
Then, he looked around and smirked. “The location is not bad. From now on, this shall be a branch of the Tianlu Merchant Guild!”
He looked at Zhao Liu mockingly. “The people from Maple City have already agreed to it. Who do you think you are to oppose the Tianlu Merchant Guild?
“Men, take out our signboard and put it on!”
The young man waved his hand. His underlings took out their signboard and hung it at the entrance.
The words “Tianlu Store” were carved on the signboard.
“Not bad!”
The young man laughed out loud when he looked at the plaque. Then, he turned to look at the carriage in front of him. “What do you think of the signboard?”
An old man got down from the carriage. He looked up and said with a smile, “Not bad! Nanping City is bustling with business. This store has a lot of potential!”
The young man smiled and pointed at Zhao Liu who was still in the store. “Throw him out. He’s only wasting space!”
Immediately, his underlings picked up Zhao Liu and threw him out.

They spat on the ground and laughed loudly.

To the young man, that kid was a country bumpkin with no background. Crushing him was as easy as crushing an ant.
The merchant guild would prefer not to use force, but if the kid did not want to comply, they had no qualms of becoming violent.
“Grandfather, let’s go in and plan the interior design. The store must be grand.”
The two of them laughed as they walked into the shop.
At that moment, a beam of light shot out from amid the crowd and hit the signboard.
Bang! The signboard exploded into pieces.

The two of them stopped in their tracks, and their expressions became extremely hostile.
The burly men rushed out of the store and looked around fiercely.
Everyone on the street was shocked.

The entire street was in an uproar.
