Never in Harley’s life did she hit rock bottom this hard. She was just a simple girl trying to make it, trying to live, wanting to enjoy her life and explore the world but sadly the world is not rainbows and sunrises. Her boyfriend broke up with her because her weight fluctuates, she started to get stressed because of her overloading work and she doesn’t have enough time to workout and take care of herself. She thought that’s by far the hardest thing that could happen in her life right now, until she got fired from her job for being late all the time. She’s having trouble sleeping because of the heartbreak that affected her work performance. She vent it all out with her friend Selena who’s been her roomie for the past years. They decided to go clubbing to help her get rid of the stress for one night. She drinks a lot of alcohol but she’s not drunk at all so she decided to go home without her friend and it’s boyfriend.
Once she was outside the bar, a sketchy rugged man was staring at her. She was terrified that he would do something to her until he told her that he’s not going to kidnap him because he’s not his type. She was stunned but that turned to rage when some guy behind her laughed at it. She challenged her on a bet that if she can turn him on he had to tell her that nothing is funny with what happened with her. The guy agreed to it and bet one hundred thousand dollars if she can turn him on. Tamantha was shocked but she continued to dance seductively. Her eyes gazed on his erection and she couldn’t believe herself when she saw it hard. She thought that chubby girl might be the guy’s kink for he doesn’t get turned on easily as he said. Maybe it’s his kink. Tamantha won the bet and took home a credit card where she can withdraw the one hundred thousand dollars.
Ever since I found out about my personality disorder I’ve been more careful on my triggers and try to avoid them. I don’t want to anger myself so much either. I have been trying to manage my anger.
The psychiatrist also told me to read a lot of books so I’m more at peace and calm. In that way my other personality won’t take control because I’m feeding myself a lot of stories to actually read.
As I delved into the pages of the captivating story, my heart resonated deeply with the struggles of the main character, a young girl on a quest to accept herself completely. The author skillfully crafted a narrative that mirrored the intricate nuances of my own journey toward self-acceptance, weaving together words that spoke to the very core of my being.
With each chapter, I witnessed the main character’s internal battle, her relentless pursuit to embrace her true self despite the overwhelming pressures of societal norms and expectations. As she navigated the labyrinth of self-discovery, I found solace in her vulnerabilities, for they mirrored my own.
The author’s vivid descriptions brought to life the character’s internal turmoil, her every emotion laid bare on the pages before me. I felt the weight of her self-doubt, the constant questioning of her worthiness, and the profound yearning to break free from the shackles of conformity. Through her journey, I discovered the courage to confront my own insecurities and confront the voices that whispered doubts in my mind.
As the main character encountered obstacles and setbacks, I saw a reflection of my own struggles. Like her, I had grappled with the fear of rejection, the paralyzing worry that others might not accept me for who I truly was. But in her relentless pursuit of self-acceptance, I found inspiration and a flicker of hope. Her unwavering determination to shed the masks she had worn for far too long emboldened me to peel away my own layers and embrace my authentic self.
The story’s narrative explored the intricate layers of identity and the transformative power of self-acceptance. It unveiled the beauty that lies in embracing our flaws and quirks, reminding me that it is through our unique imperfections that we shine the brightest. The main character’s journey taught me that true acceptance begins within, an internal dialogue of love, compassion, and forgiveness.
Through the author’s masterful storytelling, I began to see myself as more than the sum of my perceived shortcomings. I saw strength in my vulnerabilities, beauty in my quirks, and resilience in my scars. The main character’s evolution served as a guiding light, illuminating the path to self-acceptance that I too could tread.
As I turned the final page, a profound sense of liberation washed over me. The main character had shown me that self-acceptance was not a destination but a lifelong journey, one that required patience, courage, and self-compassion. The story had etched itself onto the fabric of my soul, a constant reminder that I was deserving of love, respect, and acceptance, both from others and from myself.
Armed with newfound understanding, I closed the book, my heart brimming with hope and determination. I vowed to embrace my own journey of self-acceptance, to celebrate the unique tapestry of my being, and to extend the same compassion I had witnessed in the story to myself. For just like the main character, I was ready to embrace my authentic self, to step into the fullness of who I truly was, and to live a life of unapologetic self-love and acceptance.
The next day, her apartment was bombarded by the police, arresting her for stealing a credit card. She was furious, she tried to explain but to no avail they didn’t let her go. At the precinct he saw the guy again. She wanted to punch him in the gut but the guy offered her a deal, it was the only way to see her again so he reported that she stole his credit card. Joey, is a billionaire, that’s what Harley finds out when he talked to her at the precinct and he’s not there to take back the money that he gave her. He is there to get Tamantha to sign divorce papers. She was utterly shocked when she found out that Joey and her got married last night. After the bet they head back to the bar and get wasted to the point that they marry each other.
What’s more appalling is when they found out that they cannot file a divorce paper without the witness that was there the night they got wed, because they made an agreement that if they ever try to file a divorce the witness should also sign it.
The world collapsed as the two of them found out who they witnessed at the wedding, none other than The stranger who insulted Harley that night. Who would have thought of getting married while drunk and witnessing a homeless person they don’t know. Joey and Harley felt horrible about what they did, they can’t undo it unless they find that stranger which would take them months or years! They don’t even know where to start.
One thing that Joey only knew is that no one should know about it, the media and most importantly his parents or they will disowned him. He’s already a disappointment for his parents because he always party and he doesn’t care about their business unlike his brother who they praise a lot, they’re favorite child. Weston gave his number to Harley and made her promise that she won’t tell anyone, she can keep the money and he would give her more if she didn’t tell anyone about it.
She agreed to it because she’s doesn’t have a source of income for now besides she doesn’t want anyone to know about it as well. It’s gonna be an issue and a lot of people will judge her. Joey texted her to meet on the same bar, hoping to look for the guy but they end up fighting.
Weston’s brother saw them arguing in front of the bar. Johnny asked who is Harley, Weston quickly come up with an answer and told him that he is Tamantha’s gym coach, who trains her and helps her to loose weight. Joey knew that his brother won’t believe him if he told her that she’s just a friend because he never met her, he knew all his friends. He won’t believe it either if he told her she’s a stranger because they’re arguing. Harley was stunned when he said that but he understands that he doesn’t have a choice. They can’t tell anyone about it. Not even a single soul.
Hmmm….
This story speaks to me. They have a secret and they can’t tell anyone but themselves. They have to keep it, only to them. Just like me. I had a secret and I can’t let anyone find out about it. They would think I’m a creep..
As I sat in my cozy reading nook, engrossed in the pages of a captivating story, I found myself immersed in a world that mirrored my own innermost thoughts and emotions. The protagonist, a young girl much like myself, embarked on a journey of secrecy and clandestine desires that resonated deeply within my being.
With each turn of the page, I witnessed her inner struggle, her delicate dance between truth and falsehood, as she guarded her secret like a precious gem hidden away from prying eyes. Her heart ached with the weight of the unspoken truth, and her mind teetered on the precipice of revelation. How effortlessly the author weaved the intricate tapestry of secrecy, weaving words that tugged at the strings of my own experiences.
As the girl moved through the story’s chapters, I felt an invisible thread connecting us, intertwining our lives in a web of shared secrets. Her tale became a mirror, reflecting my own fears and desires, for I too harbored a secret, carefully tucked away in the recesses of my soul. The author’s words, so eloquent and profound, gave voice to the thoughts I had struggled to articulate, encapsulating the turmoil and vulnerability that accompany the burden of holding such a secret.
In the character’s silent struggles, I found solace and reassurance that I was not alone in my plight. The story’s narrative danced delicately around the importance of keeping secrets, unraveling the consequences and unveiling the profound impact they can have on our lives. It highlighted the immense power secrecy holds, both as a means of self-protection and as a double-edged sword that threatens to sever the ties that bind us.
Through the protagonist’s experiences, I discovered the complexities of secrecy, a labyrinth of conflicting emotions, from the paralyzing fear of exposure to the inexplicable comfort found within the walls of confidentiality. The story’s poignant exploration of these emotions wove a tapestry of understanding, allowing me to better comprehend my own conflicting feelings and the intricate layers that veiled my secret from the world.
As I reached the final page of the book, a sense of catharsis washed over me. The journey of the girl had served as a gentle guide through the tangled maze of secrecy, providing me with the courage to confront my own fears and find the strength to navigate the challenges that lay ahead. The story reminded me that the power of secrets lies not only in their safekeeping but also in the transformative journey they inspire.
In the aftermath of this profound reading experience, I closed the book, a sense of empowerment pulsating through my veins. I realized that my secret need not be a shackle that restrained me but rather a catalyst for growth and self-discovery. Just like the girl in the story, I vowed to embrace my truth, nurture it with care, and trust that, in time, it would blossom into a beautiful narrative of my own.
Or I’m out of my mind. People this days still shun us. They believe we should be locked up in a mental hospital because of being different. And that would happen if I don’t control myself. I don’t want to be away from my Nona. She is my life. If I don’t have a breakthrough with my personality disorder they will take her away from me and that would drive me even crazy.
