When she went to the company on her first day, she was shocked to see David, he is her boss and she’s her secretary.”
“See?! I told you they are going to be boss and secretary! Oh my gosh. Typical cliché.”
“Not like my life, why does mine have to be so crazy? I mean, why can’t it be like that?”
“Well it wasn’t easy for her, Fertine. And it wasn’t easy for you either. It was very different so I don’t understand why you would want that life I mean. You are already walking on a journey with her so don’t be content with your life.” She said straightly.
I walked closer to her. “I’m just joking, Freeda. Go on and continue.” She laughed.
“David’s Mom found out that she’s his secretary and told her about the condition they have before and that David is already engaged with Nina, she broke down in tears, she never thought how David changed over the years, he lied to her. He only used her for sex, he doesn’t have feelings for her anymore, he is just playing with her because he is already engaged with Nina. Sarah is on the edge again, she lost both of her jobs, she resigned on her job at the coffee shop as soon as she get the job at the company without knowing that David is his boss and now she’s fucked up. She’s the only hope of her parents to help and provide for them. That’s when she realized that Toci offered her a job and she had no choice but to accept it. Her modeling career started to sky rocket again because of Kenny, her old friends tried to reach out to her and told her about their batch reunion, she doesn’t want to go but Kenny is going and he wants her to go as well, soon enough she agreed.”
I fidget on my seat.
“Sarah knew that once she walked into the reunion her past would be brought and it does, she was the talk of their batch and she felt anxious, seeing Nina and David together didn’t even help. To avoid any scene in the reunion she left so she could be alone with her thoughts. She shrieked when she saw David behind her back. They talk for a while but Sarah leaves when she got a call that Bliss is rushed to the hospital, David accompany her, while in the hospital, they happen to run into David Mom, she was furious to see her son with Sarah after all what she did to separate the two of them, she argued with the and belittle Sarah family but Sarah mom is not having it.”
Good thing for her Mom actually. That is way better. That is just to think that they owe him something.
Crazy stupid. I wonder if they ever had a child, that would be a better twist than ever!
“She stood up for her daughter and for her family, all along she’s just nodding and letting everyone to think wrong about them but she won’t do that now. Sarah already suffered enough. David is confused about what his mom is saying about the condition they had before but he didn’t force Sarah to tell the truth instead he went home and let her be with her family. The next day Sarah decided to finally end everything with the Sanders and leave everything behind and start a new life. She sent her resignation to the company but it’s rejected and she needed to give the resignation by herself. As expected he didn’t accept it, after a minute of pleading with him to accept the resignation he agrees to accept the resignation if she marries him. David found out what her mother did to Sarah, her mom took advantage of their lack of money and gave her no choice but to reject him. He understood it completely but now he wouldn’t also give Sarag a chance to choose. He wants her to marry him.”
“Ahh!” I screamed.
Finally they are getting married. At least someone has a good ending. Not probably the ending that would happen to me.
I mean I’m happy with my life but you know… it’s hard to be with someone that doesn’t love you for who you are or doesn’t accept you.
And I don’t want that to happen to me.
I think that it is just stupid. I don’t want my heart to get broken again. I’m good as it is.
“David’s mom wanted to interfere but David had decided that if they wouldn’t accept Sarah he would leave the company and his father didn’t let it happen because he doesn’t want his son to suffer the fate of marrying someone he doesn’t love. As soon as they got David’s father’s blessings and Sarah’s parents, they planned the wedding. On the wedding day, something unexpected happened when Sarah and Kennys picture in the car spread on the internet.”
Hmmm… seems familiar to me but not the internet. I was ashamed of everything that happened. Almost a scandal but at least it is not on the internet. That is the worst a person could go through it felt like your world fell and collapsed, like it was the end of it.
“It’s a picture from back when they celebrated her photoshoot success but Sarah is drunk and she wasn’t aware that he’s going to kiss her. She thought that David won’t come to the wedding but as to what he promised he will be and he did. The wedding continued and they became husband and wife and soon after had a child, Sonny who is a copy of his father. After everything they’ve been through, they’re still thankful and they wouldn’t have been together if Sarah didn’t ask David for tutoring.”
“That is a worldwind story. I can’t believe it.” I said.
“Did it calm you down?” Freeda asked.
“Of course it did! I don’t feel anything triggering with me.”
She come and hugged me.
“Aww! I’m so happy Fertine. I know that you’ll be fine soon. So don’t lose hope okay? And please read a lot of stories or I can read it with you. Maybe I can read some for Hades too.” She chuckled.
That is a long time coming for her. She really has a crush on Hades and now that they’re already friends she can’t say anything about it. Though I know Hades already knew it. But he has a lot of priorities.
Even as the sun’s gentle morning embrace soothed her skin, she felt an inner tempest developing. She felt overwhelmed and anxious as an unnerving whirlwind of ideas and emotions threatened to devour her. She realized she had to find calm within herself in order to make it through the mental storm she was experiencing.
She took a deep breath, closed her eyes, and focused on the rising and falling of her chest. This regular movement served as a constant reminder that she was still very much alive and could handle whatever came her way. She took a deep breath of the cool air, releasing her anxieties and stress with each exhalation. She continued this soothing routine, which helped her focus on the here-and-now.
Without passing judgment, she allowed herself to feel the full range of her feelings. She acknowledged that her unease was normal and gently reminded herself that she was strong enough to weather any storm. She closed her eyes and imagined her stress evaporating into thin air as she breathed in and out.
She pictured in her mind a peaceful haven, a haven of shelter from the turmoil in her head. She pictured entering this tranquil sanctuary, the soft air stroking her skin and the calming murmur of a nearby stream. This mental diversion gave her a much-needed reprieve from the raging storm within by allowing her to separate herself from her concerns.
She gently lullabied herself to sleep by reciting soothing self-affirmations in her head. You are capable, powerful, and resilient. You are not your temporary difficulties. You’ve triumphed over challenges before, and you can do it again. The rhythm of her speech was comforting, instilling in her a sense of confidence and serenity.
She felt her anxieties dissipate with the passing of time, like a storm clearing the way for a sunrise. Perspective is everything, she told herself, and often times difficulties are actually advantages waiting to be discovered. She adopted this perspective and started seeing her existing circumstances as an opportunity for development and a stimulus for change.
The world seemed brighter and the colors more vivid when she opened her eyes. Although she had not yet calmed the raging tempest within, she had found a safe haven there to which she could always return. She went out into the world with renewed vigor and the confidence that comes from realizing she could handle whatever adversity came her way.
