Seven
And that will not change. He needs to find the woman again and find out what she has, and he is the only one who can warm her.
He had no choice but to grab her hair in a pony. He gripped it tightly.
“Yes, Wilder. That’s it.” She moaned.
Before she could open his zipper, he pulled her head through her hair away from his pants.
“Aw! What’s wrong with you, Wilder?!”
“You pushed me to do that, Ava. I said stop,” Wilder said.
“But why? You like it when I surprise you with a blow.”
“Liked it.” He corrected.
Her brows raised.
“Is it another girl?”
“What? No! No one could even make me har---” he cut himself off as soon as it hit him.
She crossed her arms. “You were saying? No girl could make you what?”
He closed his eyes tightly.
“Leave me alone, Ava.”
“Why would I? You’re my boyfriend.”
“We’re just flings,” he said and headed near the door.
She grabbed his arms. “So? You’ll be my boyfriend soon. Maybe even my husband.” She smirked.
“Geez, hell no. Ava.”
He removed the woman’s hand. “We’re only flings, and if you push through, your boyfriend thing. I might even end the only thing connecting us.”
“I can’t believe you, Wilder!” she shouted.
“Go away, Ava. I don’t want to argue with your brother about how to treat you right. He doesn’t even know your capabilities.”
“Wilder, please…” she said, wrapping her arms around his neck.
Hera Ava leaned closer to him. That is her full name. But people like to call her Ava or Hera. Whatever they like. Just like her brother Hades Avery.
A gasp caught their attention. Their eyes landed on the girl who entered the room. Her eyes widened, cheeks flushed.
“What the hell, nerd? Don’t you even know how to knock?”
Wilder removed the arm that was wrapped around him. He kept looking at Fertine.
He didn’t know why he was happy to see the nerd. Maybe it was because of him that Ava couldn’t go through with her plan.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t know there was someone.” She stammered between the lines.
“You can’t see me with the size and thickness of your glasses? Or are you just blinding yourself to disturb us?”
Ava glances at Wilder.
“You’re probably one of those fangirls of his, huh?”
“It’s not just your thick glasses but your face.”
“You don’t even have a chance of him. You’re so ugly. Look at your fashion, gosh!”
“Ava tops it,” Wilder said.
Her eyes narrowed at him. “And why? Are you going to defend this ugly nerd?”
“Oh, so that’s why you’re acting weird. Are you guys like this now?” he laughed.
Wilder shook his head.
“Let’s go.” He grabbed Fertine’s wrist and left Ava in the room.
Ava balled her fist at the sight of Wilder and the nerd almost holding hands. She followed them and grabbed Fertine’s hair.
“What the hell Ava?!” Wilder shouted. His grip on Fertine’s arm loosened.
Not satisfied yet, she gave all her strength to push her.
She smiled, satisfied with her revenge for making Wilder leave with her.
Wilders’ eyes shifted to Fertine on the ground. He’s about to reach her, but Avery gets to her first.
He knelt and helped her. It picked up Fertine’s books and some belongings.
Avery turned to them. His eyes are piercing on Wilder, probably because he was why the brother fought.
He’s always fixing his sister’s mess because of Wilder.
His lips are in a thin line. Wilder narrowed his eyes as Avery helped Fertine stand up.
He wants to protest and be the one to help her, but Avery already does.
Ava rolled her eyes. “She can stand by herself, Avery.”
He only glared at Ava before they left. His hand is supporting Fertine’s back.
Wilder watched the two leave. Wilder took a deep breath. Tsk. So what if he is supporting Fertines back?
One by one, those who watched what happened were shocked.
He turned around without looking at Ava. She called his name, but he didn’t care about her.
Before going to class, Fertine stopped by the park. She fixed herself after the guy who helped her left.
She didn’t expect what had happened earlier. She had no intention of bothering Wilder and the woman with him.
She just wanted to return the clothes he made her wear last night when she fell in the pool. He saw Wilder enter the room, so he thought he was alone.
“Hey, wait!”
She turned to the man running towards him. The man who helped him.
She couldn’t help but look at it. Even though he is sweaty, he still looks good, unlike her. It’s also apparent that he’s athletic because he has a good body.
“Are you sure you’re alright?” he said.
She nodded.
“By the way, oh, I forgot to give it.” He handed her the I.D. he had just gotten from the registrar.
“Uh… Thank you.” The two are almost the same height, but if you look closely, the man is only a few inches taller.
She reached for her I.D., but his fingers were still on the other edge of it.
“You’re welcome…” he paused and glanced at her I.D., his eyes narrowed, and his smile turned into a thin line, “Fertine, you’re welcome, Fertine Aladaw.” He smiled at her.
“Yours too---” he cut her off.
“Avery.”
“Thank you, Avery.” She smiled.
Wilder stopped when he found Fertine adjusting her skirt near the park.
He smiled at the sight of her.
He quickly removed the smile from his lips. He shook his head. Why is he smiling and happy when he sees that nerd?
Maybe because he enjoys annoying her, another thing is that he can’t help but get irritated whenever he sees the woman bowing down.
But is he okay?
It looks like Ava pushed him hard earlier.
He was about to go to Fertine, but he was stopped by someone who approached the woman.
His eyebrows raised.
It’s Avery again.
He took a deep breath. Avery is getting closer to her.
He pursed his lips.
The two smiled at each other
Wilder saw it all from a distance.
