Nine
He had never felt this feeling before, and he had never let go of anyone’s gaze.
He’s intimidating. So they’re the ones who avoid his gaze, so why is he the one who avoids it? Shouldn’t he be the nerd?
Geez, this is freaking crazy!
“Can I leave now?”
Wow!
His eyes turned round. He no longer stutters!
“A-alright,” he stammered.
What the heck?!
Why is he the one stuttering now?!
Geez!
I didn’t think much of what happened. I slept last night that was it.
He stepped outside and put the back of his hand over his head. The sunlight is directed at his gorgeous face.

As I sit here watching her typing away on her laptop, I can’t help but feel confused about my feelings for her. She’s smart, witty, and passionate about the things she loves. But she’s also a bit of a nerd, and I can’t decide if that’s a good thing or a bad thing.
On one hand, I love how she talks about her interests with so much enthusiasm. It’s infectious, and I find myself getting caught up in her excitement. But on the other hand, I worry that we might not have much in common. I’m more of a sports guy, and she’s into things like science fiction and video games.
I also can’t help but wonder what my friends would think if they knew I had feelings for her. They’re all into partying and hooking up, and I feel like they would make fun of me for being interested in someone who isn’t the typical “cool” girl.
But then again, maybe I shouldn’t care so much about what my friends think. Maybe I should just follow my heart and see where things go with her. After all, she’s kind, funny, and I always enjoy spending time with her. Maybe I should take a chance on her, even if she is a bit of a nerd.
He looked around. They’re right in the middle of the first for a stupid camping trip but nothing’s more stupid than watching Avery walk towards Fertine.
It just got off the bus, Avery approached!
He’s once again irritated by them. He was really restless on the bus earlier because of Geo who was so noisy. He was even more distracted by Fertine. Hi He couldn’t take his eyes off the woman and even though he closed his eyes, her beautiful smile entered his mind.
Geez! Did he just say she has a beautiful smile?
Something must have been wrong with him!
She’s a nerd! Nerds are never pretty!
His eyes narrowed at both of them. He shook his head. What is the use of those two?
Nothing.
Before his mood was completely ruined, he followed Geo and Tori away from there.
My buddies were talking animatedly in front of me as I walked quickly through the busy downtown streets, but I could only see their backs. It was a normal group outing on a Saturday afternoon, full with jokes and good times. But despite all the happy chatter, one thing kept weighing on my mind: a girl.
She had blown into my life like a sudden windstorm, disturbing the otherwise tranquil seas of my existence. There was an immediate and powerful attraction to her that I couldn’t explain. I couldn’t get her out of my head; her beautiful laugh, her eyes that held a universe of mysteries, and her charming smile all captivated me.
But as I lagged behind my companions, questions began to eat away at my mind. What if my interest in this girl was nothing more than a passing fancy, destined to fizzle out just as soon as it had blossomed? Would going after her endanger my relationships with the people who’ve stuck by me through thick and thin?
My pace intensified as if my heartbeat were matching the beat of my racing mind. I analyzed my thoughts to determine if my developing feelings for her were sincere or the result of my active imagination. What if my feelings for her were only a mirage in the desert of my longing, a projection of my unfulfilled desires?
My companions and I went in a different direction when we reached a fork in the road, and I could hear their happy chatter coming from inside a nearby café. My feet were glued to the ground as I dithered, divided between the security of my friend and the mysterious attraction of the girl who had captured my attention without my even realizing it.
As I thought about the fallout from my decision, a wave of doubt washed over me. If I pursued this unexpected connection, would they consider me as disloyal, breaking the unwritten code of friendship? Could I handle the potential humiliation of a sincere show of interest being turned down?
I was drowning in self-reflection, but the city’s din helped me find my way out. It was as though the cacophony of automobile horns, hazy passerby chatter, and tunes wafting from street performers mirrored the chaos of feelings roiling inside me.
A ray of optimism appeared, however, despite all the doubt. What if, despite everything, this girl turns out to be more than simply a passing fancy? What if she had the ability to change my life, to be a friend who would stick by my side through the hardships I knew were ahead of me?
My heart was racing as I summoned the nerve to enter the café, but as I did, I had a sudden epiphany: life is a tapestry created from a series of choices. Now was my chance to take a leap into the unknown, trust my gut, and set out on a trip that might change my life forever.
After taking a deep breath, I opened the café door and faced the results of my choice. As the sounds of my buddies mingled with the aroma of freshly brewed coffee, I made up my mind to finally face my fears and figure out how I really felt about this beautiful woman. The journey of seeking love and understanding oneself is often where we experience the most profound moments of growth, therefore I knew that regardless of the outcome, it was an adventure worth pursuing to follow my heart.
“Wilder!”
He turned his back when someone called him. His brows raised.
Leila is in front of her, she’s one of his classmates. She flashed a smile at him.
She is pretty and thin but he never hooked up with her. She’s not just his type.
Who is his trip?
The thought of the nerd made him close his eyes tightly. He shook his head and smiled back at Leila, instantly making her blush.
“Can you help us at camp?” he said and looked away.
He frowned as he bowed. It stole a glance and avoided again.
Geez, is stealing glances and avoiding them a trend now?
Or are women really that big and he just didn’t notice? Or maybe that was normal and he just remembered something from that mannerism?
Like Fertine?
Geez, he’s going crazy. She never leaves his mind!
His mood has shifted, he’s irritated by Leila’s constant stolen glances.
“You can do that.” He shrugged.
Her eyes widened at his cold tone.
“B-but the man is only a little.” He said and bowed again.
She did it again!
He took a deep breath.
“Fine, I’ll help but stop staring at the ground. It doesn’t suit you.” And who is it that bends down and avoids his eyes?
Damn it! He really won’t be swayed by his thoughts!
She gulped at his reply.
Leila said what she would do. Their first task was to make a bonfire and a tent. What he will do is cut wood that can be used as fuel while there is still sun.
He was looking for a friend with him.
“Dude I swear he’s really good!”
“Yes, you’ve been saying it for a while Tori. You don’t need to say it again.”
“And please keep it to yourself. I don’t wanna hear how gross you are.”
“Tsk, as if you’re not gross Geo. You’re the one who made the three way. You thought they bet you.”
“And what’s gross about that? Are you kink shaming me?”
“No I’m not. I’m blaming you add a person not your kinks. ‘Cause your gross.”
Wilder rolled his eyes at both of them. The two talked earlier about their bad experiences this past week. While he is passive and will only nod if asked. He’s not even sure if the woods caught his interest or he doesn’t just have a story to tell.
He wanted to tell about Fertine.
Geez, They won’t believe it!
“Well at least I had a three way.”
“I’ll be there soon.”
“Gago, where are you?” Geo laughed.
“Your face!”
Tori glared at him. “You are ashamed of my good looks Geo!”
“Why? Even if you’re handsome, if you don’t know how to have fun, you’re nothing!”
“And even if you’re smart, you can’t back down from flirting with Erza. You’re a punk! What do you think tino is going to kill you? Eww!”
Wilder stopped picking wood because of that. Geo’s a womanizer and a jerk while Erza is intelligent and proper. Tori had a point… But what if she likes him?
Geo’s undeniably handsome but Ezra is out of his league. That one is too nice and easy for his silly friend.
She’s like Fertine, not just beauty. That girl is a nerd and he is a womanizer… She probably wont like him… Like Erza to Geo. He’s a jerk as well!
But even though he’s a jerk he still cares. He closed his eyes tightly. Why is he improving the sariki?
What if he doesn’t like it? He doesn’t like that nerd! Why is he thinking?
So what if she doesn’t like him? As if he cares!
“Why? At least I’m trying to be unlike you!”
“Oh shit!”
His thoughts faded when Geo called his name.
“Der! There’s a frog!”
He jumped in fear as the slimy looking frog stared at him with its big round cloudy eyes. The frog sitting on the tree branches that he picked up.
He let it go. It’s not that he’s scared of it but there’s something about their eyes that creeps him out.
“Shit Der! What are you doing? Didn’t I see that? You’re about to wake up the girl!”
“Yes, bro! Oh, you’re quiet, but you seem to have forgotten what you’re thinking. That’s not what you’re going to tell the girls about, is that where you plan to tell the frog?”
“Geez, hell no!” he said.
“So what?”
He looked back and forth between the two. He didn’t know if he should tell her what happened. He knows they can be trusted, but when he gets drunk and drunk, he says things he shouldn’t.
Just like Tori was drunk, he admitted that he kissed Carey, but he never told anyone.
