Chapter 11: Feelings??
Cassandra awoke with the sensation that someone was caressing her soft cheeks. He gradually opened his eyes. What she saw completely engulfed her. His handsome face was close to her, and his puffy eyes appeared seductive; his soft and red lips were as tempting as she wanted to kiss them.
"A-are you o-okay?" Edward asked, a little shaken, captioning her to wake up from her trance. She then pushed him away from her and stooped up.
"Oh, y-yes, I'm fine. Thank you for waking me up," she said as she averted her gaze.
"Sandra, what are you doing? Let's go, the taxi is waiting for us," Ava said, but Edward grabbed Cassandra's arm before she could leave. "Wait a minute, at least give me a reply every time I text you, please?" Edward begged.
"Please??"
Cassandra then turns to face him, noticing a longing in his eyes. "Why do I feel like he was genuine to me? Why does my heart beat so fast whenever he was so close to me?" she questioned herself.
"Okay," she said before Ava snatched her up.
"Girl, it's so obvious that he genuinely loves you," Ava observed.
"This isn't right, Ava. It was just a one-night stand, and we don't love each other, and he already had a fiancee," Cassandra said, biting her lower lip.
"Remember, Sandra, it's already a two-night stand?"
"I know," she said, rolling her eyes at her.
"Anyway, are you sure he already had a fiancee? Did he tell you about it?" Ava inquired, perplexed.
Cassandra responded, "I just saw it on his Instagram post."
"But are you not going to tell him about Akia? After all, Edward was her f—"
"Stop it, Ava. Let's just not talk about it right now. I'm so tired, I want to rest after this," Cassandra said, taking a deep breath.
Cassandra arrived at her apartment after 30 minutes.
"I have to go now; I'll see you tomorrow," Ava said, nodding to her as she walked away.
Her phone vibrated as she was about to enter her apartment. She took it out of her pocket and read the text message.
"Did you get home safely? I just wanted to if you're okay. Hope you're not mad."
It was a text message from Edward and she was about to respond when someone suddenly hugged her.
"I miss you, mommy. Did you miss me too?" a lovely little girl said as she wrapped her arms around her legs.
"Of course, my princess, mommy misses you badly; I have some new clothes for you here, and I know you'll love them," Cassandra said, kissing her cheeks.
"Akia!! Where are you!?? Oh, you're just here; I've already searched you everywhere; you make me worried," Cassandra's mother said, concerned.
"I'm sorry, Mamita, I was just so excited to see my mommy that's why I waited for her outside," Akia said, pouting her lips. Cassandra then chuckled as she saw her daughter's reaction.
"Okay, we're not mad, but don't do that again. What if someone kidnaps you? It's too dangerous for a kid roaming the streets. Just don't do that again okay?" Cassandra explained.
"Yes mommy," Akia said.
"Let's go inside. I already prepared for our lunch," Cassandra's mother said as she help her to her luggage.

Cassandra was washing the dishes when she heard the doorbell ring. So she put down her work and went to open the door, thinking it was Ava, but Cassandra stood there with her mouth open, unable to speak.
"Hello, Cassandra," Edward said as he smiled at her.
"Go away, how did you know where I live?" she screamed once she found her voice.
He tried to shut the door, but he held it open with one hand.
"May I come in?" he inquired.
"I said go away," she cringed, about to close the door, but he stepped in, trying to prevent it from closing.
"Please give me a minute; I only want to talk with you," Edward said, walking past Cassandra and in without waiting for her to respond to the invitation.
He took a look around the small apartment. It had a living room and kitchen in one room. He also noticed two other doors, which he assumed led to the bedroom and bathroom.
"Oh, did I say that you can come in?" Cassandra sarcastically asked.
"No," Edward said, scanning her body. Under the bagsy sweatpants she wore, he could feel himself becoming aroused by her fantastic figure. "How have you been, Cassandra?" he inquired as their gazes locked.
The simple presence of him easily defeated her, and she stood before him, scowling. ", Why do you care?? What's the point?" she asked him as she furrowed her eyebrows at him.
"I care because I've been thinking about you for almost a year." It was true, she came to him now and then, that the two nights they spent together were amazing.
"Oh, I'm sure you did," she sneered.
"Why do you keep avoiding me?"
"That's none of your business; now leave my house," she yelled.
"Let me take you to dinner tomorrow night," he said, as Cassandra couldn't believe what she was hearing.
He dared to think that after how he had handled her, she would go out with him. "Get out of my house, you conceited jerk! I'll call the cops and have you jailed "She used all of her strength to push him towards the door, which she opened and told him to exit.
Edward couldn't help but smile at her, this little woman in sweatpants, her hair still unkempt, attempting to push him out. "All right, I'll leave, but I'll be back tomorrow; we need to talk."
She shoved him out and slammed the door shut with her hand on his chest. Her heart was pounding hard inside her chest as she leaned against it.
It was painful enough to see Edward, but when she tried to touch him, the flames of desire flared up. He was still the only one who had that effect on her.
She was scared because she didn't know what was going on around her and what was his plan. She couldn't and wouldn't let him come near her again.
She would never let Edward take anything else from her again, especially her daughter. "He must never learn about Akia, he must never learn that he is Akia's father," she told herself.
She would pack her few belongings and leave in the morning, having saved a little money and looking for another apartment to live in.

He couldn't get Cassandra out of his head after deciding to leave her apartment. He felt something more than sex when he spent that night with her. He wasn't certain what it was. He had a feeling he wanted to see her again. He owed it to himself to discover what those emotions were. He had dreams about her for over a year. He tried to forget about her, but her image would pop into his head now and then.
