Chapter 19: Trying to control her
While she was eating her hotdog, Edward fixed his gaze on her. When she eats her breakfast or smiles, her lips curve.
"F*ck! That's so damn arousing!" he thought to himself as he continued to spy on her while Akia was busy with her dollhouse.
Her mouth is very small, which he relishes. "F*ck, I feel my boner now," he muttered as he examined his pants. He can feel his manhood standing up and paying attention to him. This big jumbo hotdog between his legs had better go down or he'll look ridiculous if anyone sees him in this state.
"Edward," Cassandra said, his heart skipping a beat in ecstasy. "Damn it! She pronounced my name so f*cking hot! I like it! From now on, no one should call me by my name except her! God! Those beautiful long legs! I wonder what it feels like to be in between them again," he thought to himself as he fantasized about her.
"Edward?" Cassandra called out again, jolting him out of his trance.
"Y-yes?" he shattered a little as he noticed Cassandra's playful smirk as she pointed her fingers to his pants.
Cassandra teased him, "You had a boner just watching me eat this hotdog."
"Oh, f*ck, look for Akia for me; I think I need a cold shower," Edward said, but then he thought something naughty and looked at Cassandra.
"Why are you staring at me?" Cassandra inquired, furrowing his brow.
"Would you mind joining me in my shower?" he asked, grinning at her.
"N-no!" she exclaimed as Edward laughed at her outburst before heading upstairs.

Mrs. Consuelo felt much better, so she decided to join them for supper and decided to listen to Akia's account of her day.
Later, they sat in the main room, where Akia sat in front of the fire pit painted with the set her grandmother had purchased for her, and Mrs. Consuelo was in admiration of her talented adorable grand-daughter, and the fact that she looked exactly like Edward, there was no doubt she was his daughter.
"Your daughter has a real talent for painting; where did she learn it?" Mrs. Consuelo inquired.
Cassandra replied, "My father was a painter."
"Really, would I have seen any of your work?" inquired the older woman.
"No, he only did it as a leisure activity," Cassandra says, "so I assume Akia gets it from my father."
"Tell me about your parents," Mrs. Consuelo said.
"They were wonderful people; we didn't have much, but we had plenty of life for love," Cassandra said quietly.
Mrs. Consuelo inquired, "So, where is your father now?"
"My father was on a bus that caught fire; he didn't make it, and my mother already had another family," she said, holding back tears.
"I'm so sorry, dear," the elderly lady said.
Cassandra replied, "It was a long time ago."
Mrs. Consuelo then gave her a friendly smile. "Do you have any artistic or musical abilities?"
"I have a basic knowledge of the violin."
"Then you have to play for me," she said, motioning to the violin in the corner of the room.
Cassandra's face flushed. "Oh, no, I couldn't, I'm not that good, and I haven't played in a long time," Cassandra said nervously as Edward sat back quietly, listening in. "Cassandra may be too afraid to play in front of you, Grandmother.
individuals "With a sarcastic tone in his voice, he said.
"No, I'm not afraid; I'm just not that good," she snapped, rolling her eyes at him.
Mrs. Consuelo was amused by the way they were bickering back and forth, noticing the sparks between them. It was clear that these two were attracted to each other.
"Then, prove it," Edward said, "play something for us."
She wasn't about to let Edward humiliate her in front of everyone. "All right, I'll play something."
Cassandra then settled down and began singing one of those cheesy love songs. She then effortlessly played the violin. Akia's reaction to hearing her mother play went as follows:
over to Edward's arms and tucked up. The music was soft and comforting, hypnotizing Akia into a state of slumber.
Edward observed Cassandra's expression as she played, closing her eyes and swaying to the music. He thought to himself, "She's awesome." Mrs. Consuelo smiled as she finished. "That was amazing, my darling. You are really good, and feel free to play whenever you want."
She thanked Mrs. Consuelo for her compassionate words and awoke to find Akia asleep. I'm going to Edward now. "I'll fetch her and put her to bed."
"I'll carry her up and help put her to bed," he said slowly so as not to wake Akia.
Cassandra had no choice but to comply because he was already on his way upstairs.
They all worked together to get Akia into her pajamas, and she didn't even wake up. Before leaving the room, they each kissed her cheek and left the door open a crack.
"It's early, come join us on the balcony for a nightcap," Edward said.
"There's no need," she snarled at him.
He tensed up and rubbed the back of his neck. "Why do you have to be so damn skeptical? Can't you just accept an invitation to have a glass of wine? It's only a drink and some chatting, not a sensuality." He then turns to walk away.
Cassandra then took a deep breath, feeling guilty. "Wait," she says to Edward. "I'm sorry, it's early; I'll join you for that drink, but Akia, I don't like leaving her up alone here," she says.
"We can bring the baby monitor with us; if she wakes up, we'll be able to hear her," he smiles, "but I have a hunch she never wakes up. She's too tired from playing," Edward said.
Cassandra smiled, and a small laugh burst from her lips. "It's true, that girl could sleep through an explosion going off," he said as he led her downstairs, his hand on the small of her back.
He hands her a glass of wine, and they go outside to sit. "I'm still not sure what your work is, may I ask?" Edward inquired.
Cassandra's heart started racing when she heard his question. She was afraid that if she told him she worked for their company, he'd fire her. She needs this work for Akia's sake.
"Well, I work for your company; I'm your cousin's secretary," she explained, biting her lower lip.
When Edward heard that, he was taken aback and smirked, knowing that his girl had only been a few feet away from him at the time. "Wait, why did I get the impression you were nervous about telling me that?"
"I was afraid you'd fire me from my job," she explained as she averted her gaze.
"Don't worry, I won't do that unless something bad happens," Edward said, his voice dark and scary. She shivers when she hears his deep voice.
"What do you mean?" she asked, a little shattered.
"Like, I don't want to see you talking and smiling with other guys; you don't need to work; after all, we're going to be husband and wife soon," Edward said before sipping his wine.
"You're too arrogant, Edward; you don't have the right to control my life; I'll do whatever I want, and I haven't agreed to marry you yet, so stop assuming," Cassandra said as she prepared to leave when Edward drew her closer and whispered. "You can't say no to me, sweetie. You're mine, and I'll do whatever I want with you," Edward said as he kissed her cheeks and walked away.
