Chapter 5: Waking up with stranger
Cassandra felt a headache as soon as she fluttered opened her eyes. The morning sun's rays streaming through the windows blinded her, so she squinted.
"f*ck," she muttered, her head pounding as she dragged her hand across her eyes, attempting to adjust to the bright natural light. She took a look around her eyes widened when she realized she wasn't in her room. She turned her head, coming face to face with a sleeping man her age, about 22. His dark brown hair was messed up, and his toned chest moved up and down with each even breath he took.
She recalled his beautiful blue gems staring into her eyes as he hovered over her the night before.
"Gosh! Is this all right? What's wrong with me? I just got drunk and now I've slept with the stranger next to me, I f*cking lost my virginity to this stranger!" she exclaimed to herself as she noticed the handsome man soundly sleeping beside her.
Cassandra whimpered softly, placing her fingers on her temples and massaging them to relieve the pain in her head, but it didn't work, so she rolled out of bed and grabbed her dress, which had been thrown to the floor last night.
She instantly zipped up the silky material and looked in the mirror, fixing her hair and trying to fix the thin splatters of mascara on her cheeks, but she was gleaming, she had had a great time last night.
She regrets it all, but she can't deny that she loves it as well, but she had to leave because she had work and couldn't be there when the man woke up. All she could recall was his first name, Edward, and his surname was unknown.
She then slowly walked down the stairs, holding her heels in her hand, hoping that no one else was in the big condo, though she knew that was probably not the case and she was right because as soon as her foot landed when he reached the final step, a man voice exclaimed, and Cassandra looked at him with wide eyes.
She took in his stature, her gaze drawn to his outrageously blond hair and snaked tattoos that ran down his arms.
The man was attractive, but he was not her type.
"Who are you?" he inquired as he rose from his seat on the sofa.
"It's none of your business," Cassandra yelled. "Oh, sh*t, this wasn't supposed to happen," she thought to herself. She was only supposed to walk out without being noticed.
"Relax, honey, I'm just asking, and this is my brother's condo," he said, smiling at her.
"Oh, so he's your f*cking brother?" Cassandra inquired, her brow furrowed.
"Well, yes. Why?" he asked, crossing his arms and smirking at her.
"Would you please stop asking?" she hissed. "It was only one night, it doesn't matter," she said as she backed away from the man and walked towards the door. "If you don't mind, I need to leave now," she said, but she didn't want to leave; she wanted to stay, she wanted to stay with Edward, but she knew he couldn't possibly like her back. They simply enjoyed their wild sensation last night, nothing more, and this breaks her heart. "Did I fall in love with him?" she wondered, shaking her head hurriedly. "No, it can't be; I can't fall in love with someone I only met last night; that's ridiculous," she told herself.
"Can I at least find out who you are? Are you his fiancee, as he always mentions to me?" the man inquired.
"So, he had a fiancee and he managed to sleep with me?" she exclaimed, stunned.
"You don't need to know my name, bye," she said as she opened the front door, she walked out heading to her car.

Edward jerked awake, his eyes heavy with sleep, as he looked around his room, noticing the empty space in the bed next to him. "F*ck, why did she leave without saying goodbye?" he muttered to himself.
"How can I find her, I only know her name, and I don't even know where I can find her," Daniel says as he stood up and went to the bathroom to brush his teeth.
He then looked into his mirror, trying to recall everything he could about Cassandra from the last night. He couldn't get her off his mind. Her perfect body, plump lips, and bright eyes. "She's really perfect for me," he said quietly.
"How in the early evening she seemed to be so pure, but the late-night revealed that she wasn't at all," he smirked, remembering how he f*cked her.
He walked back into his bedroom, taking a deep breath after making sure his teeth were clean and washing his face.
"It still smelled like her, like a cheery mixed with the smell of last night's liquor," he grumbled as he made his bed, pulling the blankets over his head.
As he noticed a bloodstain on the bedsheet, he brushed neatly across the mattress and adjusted his pillows.
"F*ck, I'm going insane thinking about her; I really want her beside me; thinking of her doing something like what we did last night with another man makes me want to chain her so no one can steal her away from me," he clenched his teeth.
Edward sighed as he searched for his phone, which he discovered on the floor, where it had most likely fallen during the events of the previous night.
"Oh, my dear brother, did you hook up with anyone last night?" inquired a voice.
He turned to see his younger brother standing there.
Waiting for an answer, he stood at his door, arms crossed and brow arched.
"None of your business," he snapped, pulling a shirt over his body and looking in the mirror to fix his hair.
"Well, that's exactly what she said to me," Anthony said, chuckling as he walked into Edward's room.
"Hmmm, it smells like new blood-,"
"Shut up!" he yelled at his younger brother, "and why the hell did you let her leave without my permission?"
"Oh, brother, relax. What can I do? She wants to leave, so I let her," Anthony responded.
"Does she happen to be your fiancee?" he inquired.
"No, didn't I tell you that Nikki and were already broken up," Edward replied.
"F*ck, I'm sorry, dude. I told her about it. I thought she was your fiancee you mentioned to me," Anthony said as Edward glared at him angrily.
"Sh*t, I think I need to leave now," Anthony said as he rushed away from him.
