Chapter 75: Cassie's birthday
Their love triumphed despite many ups and downs, and they are still together and have a happy family.
It does not begin with love but ends with love. Sometimes we believe that we can do whatever we want and the outcome will be the same. But we must remember that life is full of surprises, and sometimes the best thing that can happen in anyone's life is a surprise. The lovebirds, like Edward and Cassandra, felt love, pain, care, and a full package of mixed feelings and had a happy ending.
They are still going strong after two years, and their love is growing by the day. Cassandra's priorities shifted as their family expanded.
Castaneda began working, but she does so from home because she must care for her children. She cannot entrust their children to any nanny or stranger. They received the best news in the world on their twelfth anniversary, which changed her and Edward's lives forever. They are both overjoyed with how their children have grown into bright and wonderful people. All three children have distinct personalities, but one thing they all have in common is the love they have for one another.
Akia is the calmest and most inquisitive of the siblings. She enjoys reading and gardening with her mother, as well as drawing and learning new things from her father. Eddie and Cassie, the second and youngest of the siblings, are exact replicas of their father in that they both don't like to talk much but observe things very sharply. They are both sweet to their sibling Akia and family, but they always give strangers the cold shoulder.
In business, Edward has become more successful and wealthy.
As a result, he finds it difficult to devote as much time to his family as he did previously. He does, however, spend quality time with his amazing children and beautiful wife by taking them on vacations. He is occasionally chastised by his wifey for spoiling the kids with lavish gifts and vacations, but he silences her by explaining that he works so hard because he wants to provide the best for his children.

Two years later,
"Edward, wake up, today is Cassie's birthday, and we have a birthday party to throw. Only a few hours to get ready," Cassandra said, shaking Edward on the shoulder.
"Five minutes, sweetie," he said, turning to the other side.
Cassandra rolled her eyes at her husband and said, "Edward, if you don't wake up for one more second, I'll make you sleep on the couch for three nights."
He awoke suddenly, rubbing his eyes.
"OK, okay, I'm up," he said as he climbed out of bed and headed to the bathroom. Cassandra laughed at his reaction.
Cassandra then exited the room to check on the arrangements while Edward handled the guest list.
They only invited family and close friends.
Cassandra heard giggling from the living room as she walked toward the kitchen to see how the preparations were going.
When she turned to her left, she saw Eddie and Cassie playing on the carpet floor with toys around them, while their uncle Mark worked on his laptop.
"So, Cassie, are you excited about your birthday?" she asked as she approached them.
The two children simply looked up and smiled at her.
"Mommy," Cassie exclaimed excitedly as she extended her hands to pick her up.
She immediately took her up in her arms and asked her again.
"Yes, mommy, I am so excited," Cassie exclaimed, laughing.
"Girl, I'll go check on the kitchen preparations," Ava said as she kissed her husband Mark, who was engrossed in his laptop.
She nodded and inquired, "Cassandra inquired of Ava, "Where are the others?" referring to their other friends.
"They're in charge of the decorations and arrangements in the backyard.
"All right, in the meantime, I'll look after this cute potato and Edward."
Her daughter was on her hip, and his son Eddie was walking behind her.
Eddie asks, "Mommy, where is my sister?"
"She's in her room; do you want to play with her?" she asked, as the youngster nodded. "All right, you can go, but please tell your sister that she needs to prepare in 20 minutes," she said, and her son nodded and ran upstairs.
Cassandra then went upstairs to their room.
When she arrived in front of their room, she opened the door and stepped inside, taking her daughter Cassie to the bathroom to prepare the bath.
"Sweetie, relax; I was just checking my emails and finished bathing; all I have to do now is get ready."
"OK, now get out of bed and get ready, and can you please go and stay with the kids?" Cassandra said as she handed Cassie to him.
"All right, I'll do it, but have you prepared the two munchkins?"
"I did, indeed. Now I'm off to take a bath and get ready. "Take care of Cassie for the time being," she said.
"Can I join you, Sweetie?"
" He inquired, teasingly.
"Love, stop it," she said, raising her voice.
"OK, fine," he said as he walked towards the closet.
She entered the bathroom, shut the door behind her, stripped naked, and began cleaning herself.
She went to her children's room after getting ready.
She walked in to find her son Eddie giggling in Edward's arms. They were both dressed in the same navy blue outfit.
Her princesses were dressed in beautiful white and pink gowns and clung to Edward's legs.
"What are my munchkins doing with daddy?" she inquired.
"I'm just playing, mommy," Cassie explained.
"Sweetie, you look damn hot in this dress; I want tea," she cut him off and said, "complete that sentence, or I will make you sleep on the balcony for a month."
Cassandra laughed as her husband abruptly ceased remotely speaking.
"Ahem, the guests are about to arrive, and we need to go down to greet them."
"Yeah, let's go," she said, carrying Cassie. While Eddie is in Edward's arms, Akia simply follows behind them.
The guests began to arrive at the party.
Cassandra, Edward, and her friend Ava greeted the visitors.
Meanwhile, the children are staying with Edward's mother.
"Love, I'll go get the cake; in the meantime, you go get the kids."
"OK, sweetie," he said.
She went into the kitchen to get the two cakes.
When she walked in, she noticed the head maid with the two birthday cakes on the trolley, assisted by two maids.
"Is the cake ready?" she inquired of their maid.
"Yes, ma'am."
"All right, follow me carefully; I'll show you where to put it," she said.
She turned around and followed the head maid and two maids to the backyard.
They eventually arrived in the backyard.
"Place it in the middle," she instructed the head maid.
The head maid nodded and began placing the cake in the center with the assistance of two maids.
Following the placement of the cake. They walked away. "It's time to cut the cake," she said as her husband and children approached the cake.
All of the guests gathered in front of them, including her family and close friends.
Eddie is reaching for the cake, but Edward grabs his hands and steps back.
Edward raised his hand above Eddie's hand and began cutting the cake, while their two princesses happily began to talk to their father as he cut the cake.
