I firmly stood up boldly removed my baki exposing a generous pair of breast. We were thought husbands would not resist such a display. He gazed at me, his eyes penetrating the depth of my being.
Being the first time I failed to notice his pleasure, his stimulation and his arousal at my first attempt at seduction. I was quivering at my own failure...
"I would just go all out." I told myself. I untied my Musinsi but he held my hand to still hold the skirt and not let it fall to a place he wasn't willing to go, at least for my sake but my determination made him lose all reasoning.

I held him by the shoulders and I looked in his eyes. The skirt dropped to the floor. A grunt broke from his throat as he clenched his teeth, a battle of will power and he was losing massively. He gazed over where the skirt had previously been and what it had covered, a dark patch of hair. Something was happening that should not happen yet carried him with the long racing pulses that could not be stopped. It wasn't lust that moved him, it was a sense of belonging and the eagerness to protect the woman that made him feel new things.
Moved by an impulse, he turned half way and lifted me in his hands and placed my naked body on the bed. I shook visibly. He removed his tunic and exposed a cloth mountain that rose stiffly.
He untied the chitenge and I looked only at his eyes, not taking them off of him, he leaned over to check how ready I was like Lonki had told him.

He entered as gently as he could, I stiffened out in pain and I tried to move from him in pain.He stopped and looked me in the eyes, I nodded a ' go ahead' and he continued. He groaned as he slid in and out of breath, I whimpered and emitted a muffled growl with tears streaming down my face out of instinct.
He was expiring.
He returned a suffocating groan 'Aagh' and it was over, he felt his blood go in to me as he looked into my eyes at the climax of union...He slid by my side exusted and sweaty.
We repeatedly were intimate every time he was aroused, the whole day, finding new power and learning new tricks. By the time it was Twilight, he was an expert...I managed to sleep every time he wasn't on top of me but he couldn't.
The uncertainty wouldn't let him sleep. He looked at me and prayed I be spared from the death lerking outside our door in the morning. He would put his finger on my nose holes to make sure I was still breathing. It was unbearable to watch. He didn't believe me and I was far from the will to explain why I can't be killed.
When morning came, he made sure we both stayed inside until afternoon. Breakfast was brought in and lunch too. When he was sure nothing would happen, he took his most prized calfs to the shrine for sacrifices.
He told me about his plan to announce to the King and Queen. The throne was never something I yearned for both in Seke and in Kele, so it didn't matter to me if I was a wife or a concubine to everyone else but him. I knew what he was to me and him to me and that was what mattered.
When he was ushered into the King's chambers that afternoon, the Queen was already there. It was a sunny day, a day that promised no relief.
"I have picked myself the first concubine
" he told them.
" That is not something extraordinary my Prince, you can have numerous and it wouldn't matter to any one".
" Am aware of that but seeing that your wife Princess Mokomena is still alive and well, what good is a concubine?" the Queen bemoaned.
"What happens to me sexually is not something Queen mother and I should be discussing. His mother was speechless, I know you mean well for me but, I would appreciate if you let me look after my premises alone without interfering.
"My Queen, you can leave us." The King demanded.
The Queen stood up and walked out of the chamber. with a quick obeisance.
"Can you discuss with me then , my Prince?"
" Father, I was able to lay with my concubine and she didn't die"
"Are you saying a mere concubine healed my Prince?"
" She did, my King"
The King had never seen him grin this much about anything, not to talk about having a conversation with him. "It took a mere commoner to see my son happy, I must reward her".

Princess Mokomena finally found out about me being her husband's concubine.
She came to the Prince's chamber one hot afternoon. Prince Sepo had gone to the audience hall, after the King had summoned his courtiers to discuss the delay of the rains. It was the maize farming seasons but we still didn't have rains.
" When she came, I was still in Prince Sepo's chamber half naked."
" Why is a concubine sleeping in the Prince's chamber?"
Traditionally, no one is allowed to sleep in the King or Prince's chamber unless on the first night. After that he comes to your chamber when he needs you, but I was practically living in Prince Sepo's chamber for days.
" Because he wanted me to" I replied sitting erectly.
" You , a mere concubine dare not make obeisance to a Princess?"
" And who do you think, you are talking to? Am only a concubine by name, because I am imbued in Prince Sepo's Royalty. You should be thanking me for satisfying your husband for you every night".
Princess Mokomena's blood began to boil, her glance fell on my breasts as i covered my self.
" You shouldn't look at your husband's concubine like that, or do you want me to satisfy you too?" I teased.
The urge to claim superiority was running rampant in her and my pride that wouldn't bow to her knowing she belonged to a kingdom of people who massacred my family was growing another head.
