I said it just to hurt him too, I could see the eyes that had gleamed maliciously turn crazy. It was like he was waiting for just those words to go undone.
He walked to me like a demon unleashed to fight the good of the world. He held me by the neck and pushed me on the bed.
"If a prostitute is what you want to be, then that's how I'll treat you".
His hate was taking over his thinking.
He tore my baki scratching my neck and chest in the process drawing blood. His hand on my neck was getting tighter as he struggled to fully tear my clothes off of me.
" Leave me alone my Prince" I cried.
He was fumbling with his own clothes now. I was now without clothes, between his knees.
"He will regret this the most if I don't do anything." I thought, My mind swirling.
He looked at my face that was full of fear and lost to things I could do to help us both.
I looked him in the eyes and strangled my neck. Tears spilling down my face. He held his neck, trying to remove invisible hands trying to kill him.
He was gasping for air and so was I, when I couldn't hold on anymore, I let go and he fell on the bed, breathing heavily, and coughing his lungs out.
He was looking at me gulping air greedily, sucking it from both his mouth and nose. His chest heaving, still holding his neck.I didn't know if it was because he was scared of me or upset with himself, I silently wished it was the latter.
There was a shocked silence that gripped the room.
I curled up in a foetal position trying to hide my nakedness from a man who I had previously bared all to.
A stifled groan escaped him. He drew back, his face showing a horrific look. When he saw tears coursing down my cheeks and the blood that had stained his clothes from his own neck.
" Am so...." a muffled sound came out of his mouth, clasped hands to his mouth, probably the reason his sentence was almost inaudible. He turned on his heels and strode out of the chamber.
Quivering like a leaf in a gentle wind, I remained in that position until Namakau came to cover me...
Prince Sepo had gone to his room and drawned him self in the alcohol but still remained sober. Flashes of his attempted rape. The guilt gnashing on his conscious.
That's not who you are Sepo". he chastised himself.
There was a knock on his door.
" Come in"
Princess Mokomena's maid entered the room, with a chitenge tied just above her breasts.
" I came to check if my Prince needs anything.
" Aren't you one of Princess Mokomena's maids, what are you doing here?" She stood motionless in the room, not saying anything.
" And why are you dressed like that?"
" Do you need some more beer my Prince?" She asked intentionally ignoring his question and brushing her butt on him.
His heart began pounding wildly. He immediately broke into a cold sweat.
" Are you here to seduce me?"
"Is it working?" she asked him seductively.
He turned away from her.
" You are not worthy, be on your way." He sat siping from the clay cup in his hand.
" You look exusted, my Prince, let me Massage you."
Going to his back and held his shoulders to massage him.
He violently grabbed and threw her on the bed not saying anything.
He looked at her, my flashes of my face coming to mind, panic - stricken, he turned to flee. She hugged him from behind. Her chest heaving behind his back with fear penetrated his senses. An unknown power within him held him back. Lust shoot through him.
She sensed the impact she was having on him.
" Am a nothing, please do to me as you please"... turning back and sitting on his bed.
" No, no..." The authority eluding his words.
He grabbed her and throw her on the floor.
" Like I said, you are not worthy".
He pounced on her, fumbling with his chitenge he lay upon her without untieing it, the sensation of plunging into the flesh beneath him and moving. Her gasping breath beneath him, drove him wild, they where from the pain she felt but he didn't care. He had this energy he needed release from and she was here... He was violent and brutal with her.
Thoughts of me came back.
"I promised to only love you ", his determination to remain a one woman Prince was nowhere near him today. The woman, when she felt he was easing up on her, she raised her lower abdomen, and pushed up against his erection, her eyes lustrous.
" Zae am sorry" He was losing his war miserably.
Princess Mokomena come Knocking on my door.
" Prince Sepo has called both of us to his chamber."
" Why are you personally here to tell me that?" I still had red puffy eyes from the crying after he left my chamber.
" My maidens have some washing to do at the river, so I thought I should personally do it".
I didn't believe Princess Mokomena because If he, Prince Sepo wanted to send me a message, he would have sent his maidservants to give me the message. But I had nothing to lose because she wouldn't hurt me no matter how much she tried anyway.
She couldn't hate me physically, but she could phycologically. I didn't think of that.
We walked to his chamber and Princess Mokomena knocked, but there was no response. She knocked one more time and opened the door. We passed through the ante room, no one was there. But the low muffled moans resounded as we kept walking to the main chamber. The woman moaned with ecstasy, and enthusiasm...
I was behind Princess Mokomena who exclaimed
"My Prince?"
His eyes mate Princess Mokomena first and then me.
"What are you doing in here?" he asked guilt stricken.
" Do you know, it's against our traditional and royal etiquette for a wife to come into her husband's chambers unannounced? more so a prince, do you want to die?" his eyes where on me the whole time.
I looked at him as tears spew down my face.
I wondered why I had so much faith in him that something like that was never a possibility on land that allowed polygamy.
I turned and left.
Prince Sepo failed to continue, he wouldn't have.
"Get out all of you"
He stared at the bloody mess on the floor and knew he had made himself a concubine.
