The sonar system consists of a side array, a cylindrical bow array and a reconnaissance sonar. It can perform low-frequency alert, noise monitoring, active/passive ranging, identification, attack and other tasks, and can automatically track 8 targets at the same time. The active detection distance of surface ships is 70 kilometers, and the passive detection distance is 25 kilometers. The entire system adopts fully digital technology and distributed computer structure, with good variability, applicability, availability and reliability.

The mine detection and lightning protection sonar system is a high-resolution active sonar. It can be used to detect mines, accurately locate and navigate mines, and enable submarines to avoid mines and mine obstacles and sail safely. The detection distance can reach 2000 when working in the high-frequency band.
