The main dam of the power station is a rockfill dam, with a maximum dam height of 103.8 meters. It is a diversion-type hydropower station. Its main task is to generate electricity. The installed capacity is 6 million kilowatts, ensuring output. 850,000 kilowatts, the annual power generation can reach 3 billion kilowatt hours.

In addition, there are 22 hydropower stations under construction or planning in Yunnan Province alone.

The entire southwest is rich in water resources, which can be developed and constructed.
