Someone innocent
Shania got to the club, and she had to say. So many things have changed. It seemed Danny was on a roll.
“And there is the missing butterfly," Danny said as soon as Shania walked up to the bar counter and found the man busy in action. The place was super packed and people were enjoying themselves. The music was playing in a soothing way which would make anyone feel relaxed. It was such a pleasant atmosphere and Shania loved it.
“What sorcery are you using huh…pretty cool” Shania commented with a chuckle and took a seat. Danny, who was looking as hot as ever, gave her a sardonic smile before shoving a glass of margarita at her.
“What can I say, baby girl…my charming sexiness is doing the trick,” the man said proudly while showing her his triceps and biceps? Shania couldn't help but laugh, knowing full well Danny was a shameless man. He was good-looking. Women went crazy over him.
“Stop exaggerating…at least people don't miss the butterfly queen,” Shania remarked while sipping on the drink. It felt like yesterday that she was dancing on that stage. Driving people crazy with her sexy moves. But looking at Danny, Shania couldn't help but miss her simple life.
“Hey, I would rather not see that face…come on, this wasn't for you… I realized that now" Danny said, snapping her back to reality.
“What do you know, huh,” it was strange how people thought living in luxury would make one happy. To be fair, Shania didn't feel happy one bit.
“Is this why you stopped Isa from coming here?”
“I didn't stop her, she found some wealthy hot men and cast me aside,” Danny said with a frown and Shania had to say. The man was cute, or did she don't look at him properly?
“Well, it's not like you were going to date her,” Shania said sarcastically, making Danny arch his brows.
“And I wouldn't date her. I prefer someone…more…innocent,” He said making thinking faces, Shania let out a sarcastic scoff knowing full well Danny wasn't so innocent.
“Why that poor girl… you deserve the worst,”
“I can be a good boyfriend, you know,” Danny remarked with a grin. Of course, the man was such a teasing fool. All in all, Danny was a responsible shred man. He loved money,
“May I ask you a question?” Danny said after a while of laughing and moved closer to the counter. Shania shrugged for him to go on, and the man cleared his throat a little.
“What don't you like about him?” He went ahead and asked in a serious tone. It took a while for Shania to realize the person Danny was referring to, and when she did. Looking at Danny, he seemed far too serious.
“There's nothing I like…you know what, I only came here to relax… Now will you treat me right or should I go?” Shania frowned, trying certainly to dodge the question. Anything that had to do with Christian, she despised. Especially when he was busy with that lady twin cousin of his.
“Speaking of the devil,” Danny remarked with a grin and looked up, Shania was tempted to see what Danny was up to. However, when she heard some men saying Christian's name. She knew the devil had landed.
“Hello baby, seems like we were thinking the same,” the man said as he joined them at the counter. He and Danny fist-bumped when Christian turned to Shania.
“Ace, what are you doing here?” She asked sarcastically and fixed her eyes on the glass. Danny chuckled and excused himself.
“You went missing…so I came to see you?” Christian frowned and snatched the glass from her.
“And where is your darling little sweet kitten of a cousin," Shania said while making gestures with her hands. Of course, Emily turned out to be some sassy pink obsessed whiny girl who didn't want to leave Christian alone.
“Are you jealous?” Christian asked with a chuckle, but Shania couldn't stand him. She climbed down the stool and prepared to leave when the man grabbed her.
“Stay with me…let's dance,” Christian pulled her to him until they were close to each other." You look beautiful tonight…let me spoil you,” the man muttered huskily and cupped her face, Shania hated how hot he was looking in dark jeans, a black shirt and a black leather jacket. More like a bad boy. What was missing was an insane motorcycle.
“Ace, please not now… I'm…” Shania tried to flee, but the man was already dragging her to the dance floor. She felt shivers as the man initiated a dance. She just loved how he was looking at her.

On the other hand, Isabella was in her apartment. After a quick shower. She settled on the couch wearing just a robe while she looked at the pile of files on the table.
“Oh goodness…at least I deserve a better job…like Shania's,” she said in frustration and scanned all the application forms which were rejected. She wanted a proper job. Something to keep her busy and focus on building her life.
“I can't do this “She slammed another file on the table and leaned back on the couch. It was irritating, but she had to go on. When she was about to pick up two more files. There was a knock at the door.
“Could it be Shania?” She glanced at her watch, and it was past 10. Who could it be? With curiosity, she made her way to the door. Upon opening. Isabella was greeted by someone she wasn't expecting.
“Kenny,” there he was, in blue Jean shorts and a gray muscle shirt with black sneakers, standing before her. He was wearing a black cap.
“Hey,” Kenny said more shyly, Isabella fixed her robe and wet hair and smiled.
“Come in,” she allowed him inside and Kenny was happy to go in. It was strange seeing him. She thought Kenny hated her, just like Shawn. She had tried to call Shawn, but he was unreachable.
