Chapter 1 I Quit

“Haa…”

It was hot and damp. My body was tangled to another in a throe of passion. His sweat mingled with my own. It tasted salty but sweet at the same time.

He always burrowed his head on the slope of my neck when he embraced me. His fingers curling with mine as his hips moved mercilessly.

As always, he could not restrain himself. His thrusts were too fast and rough. He never savored the action, never considered the person underneath him.

I bit my lip to prevent my moans. Instead of slowing down, he became more aroused at the sight of me trying to conceal the moans. He thought it was a challenge. So, he quickened his pace, making sure that every thrust was long and deep. He wanted to reach the deepest part of me.

He knew my sensitive spot. He had memorized it. And he was pretty much enjoying teasing me. He motioned his hip so that his member would reach that G spot.

“Haaa…”

“Ngg…”

He assaulted my sensitive spot over and over again. I could not help but quiver.

“Alex…,” I pleaded by calling his name.

He loved it whenever I call his name like that. With my raspy voice, he thought it was sexy. I could feel his manhood became harder inside me. His wave of motion started to make my insides convulse.

My head rolled back. Every inch of my body felt like being electrocuted at the same time. I was so close to my peak.

“Alex…,” I called again. He slowed down. Deliberately. Then he stopped completely. His blue orbs looked at me intensely. Challenging me.

As I said, he loved to tease me.

I hated that part of him.

He started licking and sucking my nipple as I breathed out the words, “You’re cruel…”

His smile was wide and true. He knew and I knew, that I needed more. Like always, I had to give up first. I started moving my hips below him.

I moved as fast as I could. I was so close.

He groaned in pleasure. I knew he was close too. Eventually, he would give up as well.

It did not take long before he finally gripped my hips firmly again and started moving his own. He could never bear to wait for me to finish. I was moving too slow for him. So, he ravaged me again.

I moaned at the peak of my ecstasy. And so did he. His body slumped next to me. Then he pulled my body to his. His lips gave small kisses on my neck and shoulder while his big fingers played with my black hair. It was a reward, he said, for bringing satisfaction to him.

We stayed in that position for a while. Just staring at each other breathlessly. Sometimes, he would ask things. Random things. Like “What’s your biggest fear?” or “How many exes have you had?” To which I answered, “Height” and “None”. I never knew why he always made me stay longer than he needed me to. He could have just asked me to leave right then and I would not mind.

After all, this was all a business transaction.

Before you jump to conclusions; No. I was not a prostitute. I was his sugar baby … or you could say contracted girlfriend, if it eases your conscience, to Alexander. A very rich fellow in the busy city of New York.

He was quite secretive about his work and I gave up digging about his carrier long ago, but rarely he would need assistance. Someone who looked good enough to be his trophy woman but also smart enough to hold conversations in business parties. Someone pretty but not too dumb. For example, a pretty senior medical student like me.

Yes, I’m flattering myself. You can hate me all you want. I will not beat around the bush being modest. After all, my look was the one that gave me the opportunity to be Alexander’s sugar baby. And I literally do not have the time to doubt my look. Nor would I like to spend my time doing that. However, I do think that beauty is a relative. It was just a coincidence that I met this rich guy’s taste.

Anyway, at those rare times, I could glimpse a little bit about his work. From what I could gather, he was a CEO of a start-up gaming company, The Matrix. His company was new but already very popular and Alexander himself, had made a lot of fortune in a forth night. Even though, I never heard of the company before. And I thought I was pretty following the trends of the world…

Alexander gave me loads of money to keep him company not only at business hours but also at various hours. Because of this, the contract term was ‘Sugar Baby’. And for eight months, I have been the perfect sugar baby for him. I held up my end of the deal.

But that day. That deal would end.

Come morning light, I dressed and packed silently like always. Alex never cared when I leave so he would not wake up. I put on my high heels. My legs were quite wobbly when I tried to walk but I persevered.

I passed the butler along my way to the door. “Xavier,” I called. The bald man in a neat suit narrowed his eyes at me. He was not entirely happy of my relationship with Alex. That old man wanted Alex to have a normal relationship with a caring girlfriend. Well, life likes to twist things.

Before the sex, I had hidden the box containing all items that Alex ever bought me. An iPhone X, some fancy watch that I didn’t know the brand of, some fancy but also very revealing dresses –Alex’s style, and a car key.

“What are you doing?”

I also pulled out the black card Alex gave me months ago from my purse and held it out for the butler. “What does it look like?”

“You’re quitting?” he asked.

“Yup.”

Xavier scoffed. “You can’t quit,” he said, “The contract stated that you have to return the amount that Mr. Alexander bought you along with all your expenses from the card–“

“Look at the amount of the card,” I pointed the black card toward him. Xavier looked at me scrutinizingly. But he took the card from my hand swiped the card on a small ATM machine. Yes, he kept those in the house because there were many ‘transactions’ going on.

Xavier’s eyes widened when he saw the numbers stated by the machine. “B– but… how?”

I sighed. “Luckily, Alexander left out my tuition from the contract. I have been saving up. In the end, I never use any penny given by him. Not the initial payment. And not a penny from the black card,” I told him.

Alexander gave me a limitless black card. He said it was for my ‘shopping’, but I used it for another thing.

I learned fast. And at business parties, you learn all sorts of things. Especially about stocks, what’s in trend, and how to read it. So, I started buying stocks and bidding my time. It took me six months to eventually have all my investment returned with profit. It took me another two months to triple the profit for my own living.

“Y– you’re going to throw all this money away?”

I only stared at him. How little did this man think of me?

“It was nice knowing you, Xavier.” I put on my shade and started walking out of the door. I passed my Subaru in the parking lot but I kept on walking. I gave a farewell to Margareth, the gardener, and Harris, the security.

“Bye, Miss Ann!”

Then I finally walked past main gate of the apartment building –a private apartment had bought by Alexander solely for me, and onto the busy street of New York.

I, the sugar baby, had decided to quit.
