11 ~ They Both Need each Other

Sultan POV

"Zeenat"

I called loudly.

I went to her chamber to meet her and gave her a little punishment that she deserved.

"Sultan, welcome... Welcome"

She said with a huge smile.

I saw her lying on the bed, palming her tummy along with having grapes. She laughed a little looking at me.

"Yeah... Be happy... Be happy. I would have literally taught you a lesson if you weren't pregnant."

I said walking towards her bed and lied comforting myself.

"Oh my God! Rafiq" She almost screamed looking at me with the big eyes.

"Your childish deeds Zeenat, I didn't know what could have happened yesterday because of you"

I said plucking a few grapes from her basket.

"What could have happened, means? That means nothing happened. Oh my God! I literally worked so hard for it."

She said looking at me and her face almost fell.

"Yeah, I know how much hard. Zeenat, you know we both aren't ready for this. Why do you even want this?"

She left the grapes and her face turned serious, I looked at her eyes with dark kajal as she said.

"If you aren't ready, then get ready... You don't know what can happen the very next moment. You have a lot of enemies and only God knows, how long your wife is still alive"

She said with concerns and I lowered my gaze. I was understanding her point but my feelings, my love, my priorities did matter too.

How could I instantly start making babies with a person whom I hardly know for even two months? I had someone else in my heart and she never understands that. All she was concerned was her.

"You know Zeenat, it seems like you are my wife and you give zero attention to that thing. You don't love me."

"Of course, I do sultan. But, I am concerned about what is needed and you know very well what I mean. You know, Gulaab is your first and last chance you ever have. I am not asking you to sleep with all the girls around. I am asking you to love your wife."

She said holding my palm in concern.

"But, I love my wife," I said looking at her with soft sight.

"Shut up," She said chuckling.

"By the way, what happened last night?" She asked grabbing another grape.

"She had that drink," I told her grabbing the grape.

"Oh my God! Are you serious?" She asked.

"Yes," I told her.

"I am sorry, I really hope she is fine," She said with the pleading face.

"She is fine now but yesterday. Even I got worried" I said grabbing another grape.

"Did she tried anything than these rough bites?" She said looking at my neck and almost teasing me.

I didn't know why a slight smile appeared on my face remembering her bites. She climbed on me and sucked all the way through my neck. To be honest, I enjoyed it for a few moments.

"Not much, I helped her sleep. She wanted the naked me as the naked body was relaxing her. So, I just gave it to her" I told.

"Ahaa... So sultan is being soft for her newlywed wife" She said.

"I don't know Zeenat but I just got to something that just hit my paining nerve," I said diverting my gaze to her with a serious tone.

"What?" She asked.

"She is suicidal," I said.

"What? Are you crazy?" She reacted.

"Yes, yesterday... When I denied doing anything with her. She ran to kill herself. You know, there is something that happened in her life. She never remembers anyone than his brother. She told me that she tried to commit suicides. I mean, I also didn't want to keep her alive initially too but now, I am feeling. I can't kill her. She is sensitive yet she shows that she is bold and strong. She is conservative. She is not scared of me, she is not scared of death. The person, who has no motive to live is not fine. She, married to me just to keep her brother alive."

"What?" She asked.

"Yes," I accepted looking at her.

"You know I am already King of Arab and the other Continent which is also more powerful is Hind. I want to become king of both the continents."

"Yes, I know that. Then," She asked.

"Then, I planned a lot for it. I went to Mahabaleshgarh but the Empire seem unbeatable. I thought another way around than attacking directly. I wanted to make the war legal. So, when I got the information that the Prince of Mahabaleshgarh, the would-be king was going to visit someplace with her wife. I arranged the dacoits and a poisonous arrow to attack him and In front, I came out to protect him pretending I was his friend. Everything was going fine. They trusted me and as the prize, her father asked me to ask for something in return. They were thinking that I would for something expensive but I asked for his daughter. I was sure that at no point he would our marriage and then we had the reason for a legal battle. But, I didn't know how she got to know or what happened. She came running and accepted the wedding. Even I was shocked. And, that's how my plan failed and I had to marry her."

I finished.

"Rafiq... she is smart and I like her even more now." She said smilingly.

"That's true, she is smart. You know, She still thinks that she can stop me from getting to his brother. I mean, She is so small but her ambitions. Sometimes, I feel as if she would create some problems for me." I said feathering her hand a little.

"Rafiq... Why are you thinking so much? Look, the thing that belongs to you, no power on this earth can take that away and if something doesn't belong to you then if you have any power of this world. You will never be able to get that. God has given you a chance this time. She is so sweet and the much you told me maybe she is also searching for true love. God has united you two very strategically... all I would say is, you should at least give her a chance. At least give yourself a chance. What if she is the cure of your all pain."

She finished and I was awestruck at her face.

But, I collected myself and said.

"Impossible" I stood up from the bed and continued.

"And now, Since you won't let me lie here peacefully. I am going back to my chamber."

"Okay, you can go. After all, you are a hindrance in my peaceful sleep." She said lying back on the bed and started having her grapes.

I walked out of her chamber and headed towards mine. While I walked back to my chamber. Her thoughts were raking my mind immensely. I couldn't control my mind anymore. Everything she said, was somehow sensible but I wasn't ready. I wasn't ready for accepting someone as my love but to be honest, I was feeling slightly attracted to her.

I entered my chamber and the first thing that caught my sight was two angels lying with my new Begum.

"Maamijaan, Can you give your half to us?" One of them asked sweetly."

I walked to the bed and looked at Begum Sahiba who just lifted her gaze to look at me. I couldn't stop myself from smiling a little and said.

"Sure, I will gift your Maamijaan's hair to both of you"

"Maammmuuuujaaannn" They both yelled with joy.

I climbed on the bed on the side where she was lying. Both the angels were enjoying their Maami's company's a lot and I didn't want to disturb them.

I lied behind her and the reaction she gave just gave more confidence to go closer.

I snaked her waist over the comforter, and from the over of her ear. I saw the angels playing with her long braid. Their focus was darted over the length of her braid and I didn't know what came to mind. I leaned and pecked her ear a little.

She shivered and I saw her eyes getting closed.

I moved a little more closer and touched her feet with mine in the comforter. I felt touching her anklets. I didn't know how but I do generate a soft corner for her unknowingly. Knowing that she was suicidal, I couldn't leave her alone. I couldn't let anyone die suffering this.

I wasn't sure if I would ever be able to develop a feeling for her or not. But, I was sure that I couldn't let her die suffering this. I had already lost so much because of it and somehow I couldn't see it anymore.

I get a little cosy with her and for a few moments, I forget that there were kids. I didn't what was it. But, the best I could describe was sympathy for her.

She caught my attention as her voice hit my ear.

"Sultan"

I came to senses and looked at the girls who were still playing with her braid. She looked at me over her shoulder and I could see blush and shock on her face.

"I need to drink water"

She said huskily and sat trying to walk away from me. I was definitely in a teasing mood as I grabbed the end of her braid lightly.

She turned her face and I smiled slightly.

"Bring some for me too"

She sucked a little on her lower lip and pulled her braid out of my hand and nodded.

I turned my focus on the angels and they just laughed when I tickled them.

"Maamujaan... Maamijaan is so beautiful" Kainat said.

I turned my gaze to her as she was standing facing other direction pouring water in a glass.

"Naahhh... She is ugly. Her nose is dirty and teeth. All are broken."

I said jokingly.

She turned to look at me showed me big eyes. I smiled.

She walked towards me and was about to handover the glass and I said.

"You two angels are the prettiest in the world" They both giggled again.

I took the glass and drank the water.

She walked towards the other direction of bed and lied beside Hayat. She hugged and kainat came closer to me.

"Now, sleep both of you"

She said and both the girls closed their eyes. She lifted her gaze to my and my sight was fixed on her neck and face shamelessly.

She closed her eyes and I pulled the curtains to be comfortable. Both the angels were in light sleep and then I drifted into the sleep too.

Suddenly, somewhere in the midnight. When I was sleeping on the other side of my body. I felt someone sleeping beside me.

I opened my eyes in half sleep and looked at Begum. She came closer to me and said.

"I want to sleep here. Your stepmother's face is horrifying me"

Saying that she closed her eyes and shifted a little to let her fit in perfectly.

My hand rested on her waist when she was already drifted into the deep sleep.
