Begum Loves Ibrahim?

My heartbeats denied beating for some moment. His sight fell on me and I forgot everything else for some time. His face changed from shock to ignorant. I stepped closer to them. The place for Dastarkhan was huge than I thought. It was well lighted with the lamps and there were so many couches present there.
I looked at Ibrahim and he greeted me.
I smiled looking at him and from the corner of my eyes, I was noticing the expressions of Sultan.
"You here?" He questioned and I diverted my gaze to him.
"Ji, Ibrahim asked me to join you for dinner," I said.
His expressions changed and he lowered his gaze towards the food.
"Bhabhi Jaan, yaahh Allah This is delicious" My attention suddenly caught by Ibrahim and I looked at him when he sucked on his finger grabbing a bite.
His face was telling that he was enjoying the taste of food.
"Why you having these grasses when you can have this real food." I looked at Sultan who said while having a bite of his food.
I sat on a couch beside Ibrahim and landed my gaze over Sultan. He looked so fulfilled whenever I saw him eating food.
"I am having this Bhaijaan because Bhabhi Jaan made it especially for me." I looked at Ibrahim who said it while chewing the bite of chapatti.
Sultan heard him and suddenly something stuck in his throat as he started coughing badly. His face turned red all of a sudden when he was coughing badly and I stood up.
"Get some water," I ordered and walked towards him.
I stood closer to him and started patting his back and shoulder.
His hair messed up and a few strands of his hair danced on his forehead reaching his eyes.
I moved my fingers in his hair to keep them aside from his eyes and he looked at me still coughing.
Out of options, I fisted my fingers and hit his back hard.
OHHH MYYYY GOODDDD!!!
I thought it would help him rather than his stone body hurt me.
I cried in pain a little and by the time an attendee gave him water and he stood up and started walking a little.
He held my hand without making anyone notice and walked a little away from there still coughing lightly.
His eyes become bloodshot red and he came closer to me.
"You never cooked for me?" He asked looking into my eyes.
I didn't know why his red face and eyes with messy hair look more delicious than anything.
I lowered my gaze instantly realizing that I was staring at him and said.
"Umm... Ibrahim asked me to cook something for him."
"And you cooked for him?" He asked.
I shook my head slightly and replied.
"No, I cooked for him and for myself too."
I knowingly said that to tease him. How could he deny my food?
He thinned his eyebrows and I turned myself to walk back to the couch.
He walked after me and politely sat down on his couch. He was looking angry and pissed off at me.
I ignored him and sat beside Ibrahim once again.
He started eating again and I was just staring at him.
His gaze was low, fixed on the food when I was stealing glances of him. While Ibrahim seems to be busy with the food.
I looked at Sultan who was angry and just realizing his anger on food. One after the other he was still eating.
I was tired of sitting now.
I looked at Ibrahim who seems like finished eating.
"Bhabhi Jaan. Thank you so much for such delicious food. I didn't think that it would be so tasty. Can you please cook once more time before I go" He asked and from the corner of my eye I looked at Sultan who still seems busy eating?
"Sure, why not?" I answered.
He smiled and looked at Sultan.
"Bhai Jaan must want to taste it too. I am leaving, you both enjoy your dinner." He said slowly and without meeting Sultan he left us there.
I looked at Sultan who just lifted his gaze just to steal a glance. I didn't know what to say now.
He licked his fingers clean and clapped two times quickly.
I thinned my eyebrows a little. An attendee showed up and he ordered.
"Bring a plate for Begum Sahiba and take this one with you" She nodded and did as she said.
"Come here,"
"Why?" I asked.
"So, that I can fry you and eat" Ouch! My stomach twisted hearing him.
I knew he was joking. How could he be serious?
I walked towards him and he shifted a little on his couch after washing his hands in a nearby pot.
He signaled me to sit beside him.
I sat slowly as my heartbeats were racing.
By the time the attendee showed up with the huge plate and placed it in front of me.
We both were sitting crossing our legs and his knee was touching mine. He deliberately shifted closer as he was enjoying my slight nervousness.
"Privacy! And do not enter you are asked to"
He ordered and the attendee left leaving us alone.
He looked at me and signaled me to eat.
And to make it more embarrassing my stomach growled out of hunger.
He smiled a little and I moved my hands to make a bit. I made a bite of chapati with vegetable curry.
I looked at him still not understanding what he wants.
I was moving my hand towards my mouth and he held my wrist. I could feel his rough hand against my wrist while he moved my hand towards his mouth.
He ate from my hand and knowingly my fingers touched his lips. He chewed while looking into my eyes.
My heartbeats were racing to no extent. I would always prefer a fight or argument over this sweet torture.
"Extremely delicious" He commented and signaled me to make more bites.
I did as I was asked to and he tasted the food again.
I was awestruck.
He was still holding my wrist. He sucked on my index finger and said.
"I don't like if someone asks my Begum to do such work. It's only my right"
He said and I lowered my gaze.
My stupid stomach again did that sound and my cheeks became red.
"I did it out of my own will" I tried to say.
"Still, you can ask anyone here to do as you say," He said and moved his hand closer to the plate.
He made a bite and moved his hand closer to my mouth.
I hesitated.
He insisted.
I opened my mouth slightly and feed myself.
I felt that the world had stopped at that moment.
I felt as I was seeing this sight of him for the very time.
One after the other he filled almost full of my stomach.
"I am full now," I declared.
He looked at the plate and said.
"There is so much left"
He started eating again. I chose to sit there until he finished the finished. I was extremely shocked. How could he eat so much? Like he wasted the whole evening just eating.
"I have to admit that you cook really well. I thought you are just a spoiled princess." He said and I looked at him.
"I have seen my mother cooking for my father so many times. And you know I remember how she cooked this." I said.
"So, you don't know how to cook other things?" He asked.
I shook my head in a 'No'.
He chuckled and said.
"Smart, very smart"
There was silence for a moment when we both washed our hands and a question erupted in my mind suddenly.
"Umm, do you want me to learn some more?" I asked looking at him.
"You can do whatever you want. It is your life and you should be living it happily." He said looking into my eyes too.
I nodded and honestly, I didn't expect that answer from him.
"umm, I wanted to ask you something," I asked when he was trying to stand up.
"Yeah, tell me" He insisted.
"Um, I wanted to read some books. Can you ask anyone to bring some books to me?" I asked.
He looked at me and asked.
"You like reading?"
"A little bit" I answered back. I wanted to read some poetry. I didn't know but it was seeming so intriguing to me.
"Ohh, Yeah I will ask someone. Or you can use my library" He said.
"Are you sure, I mean it's your library?" I asked.
"Begum, It's your right, After all, you are my Begum"
He said and I felt blushed.
"Let's go, I will leave you at your chamber," He said walking along with me.
I nodded and I didn't know why I feel like smiling.
We started walking back to our chambers. The weather was chilly at late night and rubbed my arms with my palm to stay warm.
"Winters are coming," He said.
"Yeah," I said.
"Do you miss your family?" He asked looking at me.
"Yeah, but not that much. But, I miss my brother" I admitted.
"You love your brother so much?"
"Yes, that's why I am here," I said looking at him.
"Means?"
"Nothing. I love him so much." I declared.
We both turned towards the gallery towards our chamber.
"And whom you love the most after him?" He asked keeping his gaze low.
"After him?"
"Hnn"
"Umm, that must be my mother," I said.
"Ohh, and after her?" He asked.
"After her?"
He nodded.
"My father"
"Then," he asked.
"Then, My sister in law," I said.
"oh, then?"
"Then kainat and hayat. They are lovely" I said.
"Then?" He asked and I looked at him thinning my eyebrows.
"Umm, Zeenat Begum" I answered.
We reached my chamber and he forced the one door open to let me in.
"Then?"
I stepped in and knowingly I took a name that changed everything.
"Ibrahim,"
He pinned me against the door standing close to me.
"Ibrahim?" He asked.
I nodded slowly. "I mean, he is good, helpful"
He snaked his arm around my waist in anger and pulled me closer.
"And what about me?" He said in a rough voice.
I looked into his eyes.
"But, you asked me not to love you," I said in an innocent voice.
"What I ask not to do you don't even listen to it... And you agreed to do it?"
"But, I don't want to bother you." I declared trying to push him away slowly.
"But, you are bothering me." He said and I pushed him away trying to walk away.
He held my wrist and pulled me back in a jerk. He pushed me against the hard door and I said.
"I am not bothering you,"
"Yes, you are. Stop spending time with Ibrahim" He said looking into my eyes dangerously.
"No, I won't." I spatted back.
"I will have to punish you then," He said moving a little away from me.
I took a breath of relief as he moved away and said while moving towards my bead ignoring him.
"Go ahead and I am not afraid of your punishments."
I climbed on the bed to sleep but just then my sight fell on him, My heartbeats stopped.
He removed his kurta in a swift motion and my eyes just came out of the socket.
He jumped over the bed and I quickly stood up.
"Are you mad?" I said almost afraid of what he did.
He quickly stood up and I tried to run away.
But, he was fast enough to catch me and threw me on the bed.
He hovered over me and my throat dried looking at him.
"I am not afraid of you," I spatted.
"Yeah, I know what you actually afraid of," He said pinning both of my hands over my head.
"No, these actions of yours don't affect me," I said trying to make a statement.
He thinned his eyebrows and said something that sent a shiver throughout my nerves.
"Let's see then,"
