You will answer what I ask

Sultan POV

I came back to my chamber after meeting Ibrahim.

Also, I asked her to join me for the trip to Ibrahim's Sultanate.

I hope, there I would get enough time to sort things between us. Also, she would feel better with new people and functions. I guessed.

I sat on my couch and my sight fell on the half jug filled with alcohol.

It all happened because of it.

I took a breath and moved my hand in air to push to jar towards a far corner of the chamber.

It's metal created an echo suddenly when fallen to the ground.

I took a breath in relaxation and my eyes closed remembering whatever happened.

I forced my brain to remember everything. But it wasn't able to do it. I didn't know what would I do now. I just have to wait until she forgives me and if she won't then I might not bother her anyways.

Thinking to give her a little time, I breathed calmly.

Then I remembered about the Jars. I quickly called the attendees and ordered them.

"Clear all the alcohol jars from here,"

They looked at me with big eyes and I repeated.

They instantly came into movement as they started collecting all the jars and took those with them.

I stood up in relaxation and looked around.

Seems better.

Suddenly my sight fell on the bed and the same thought hit my mind again. I couldn't believe that I did it. I didn't even remember and knew how it felt. I didn't even felt it.

I was the unlucky one here for sure. I slept with my wife even when she wasn't prepared and neither I.

I was in deep thoughts when I suddenly remembered that there were only two days left in this month to be finished which means we had to hurry for Ibrahim's Wedding. And we needed to be as he was someone like my close friend and cousin. Also, he was the only brother of Zeenat and we had to be at his wedding on time.

I quickly got up from the couch and turned my steps towards Zeenat's Chamber. I had to ask a lot of things. I needed to discuss gifts, presents and a lot.

A slight smile appeared thinking that it was going to be a different kind of fun. Also, I and Begum would also get so much time to spend with each other.

Somehow, I realized that we were just fighting with each other since we get married. We both never talked to each other in silence and peace.

I was walking towards Zeenat's chamber and were around the entrance when I heard slight giggles of ladies.

My heartbeat raced.

Is Begum here?

My steps automatically slowed down when I heard a slight and faded voice. I didn't know what exactly she said but they were talking.

Suddenly, whatever happened since morning moved across my brain and I closed my eyes for a moment. I had to face her, Although I need her to forgive me.

I walked inside her chamber passing a long and wide gallery to reach her bedroom. I saw both of them sitting on the bed and talking to each other. They hadn't noticed me but I listened to what Begum Said.

"And in the morning he saw some of his bites over my chest and thought that forced himself on me." She said it with a smile.

I didn't get it.

"He thought, he forced himself on you?" Zeenat asked showing her big eyes in amusement.

"Yeah," She agrees.

They were talking about me. Begum told everything to Zeenat, realizing that I lowered my gaze.

"Oh my God, he will be literally begging you for that. I know him." She said and laughed.

Why the hell were they laughing?

Wait? She said that I thought. That means...

She laughed and told her.

"He is chasing me since morning."

She laughed and said.

"Someone is being in love. But you should forgive him soon"

She said.

"Not until he gave up on drink-"

Anger and surprise-filled into all my nerves in no time. How could she?

"You lied to me?"

I asked catching their attention while I was standing expecting an answer.

Her face changed and she stood up quickly.

I took a few steps further and repeated.

"YOU LIED TO ME?"

I didn't know what was happening? But, I needed her justification.

"Sultan, Umm...Ahhh... Actually-"

"UNBELIEVABLE"

She couldn't form any sentences and this clearly told me that she made fool of me.

I took a breath to calm myself as I diverted my gaze to Zeenat. The baby started crying hearing the chaos and I turned my heel back to my chamber.

Honestly, I was dying as if I did a horrible mistake that I couldn't beg for. I thought I used her, I thought her I slept with her. I thought I forced myself on her. But, All the while she was just making fun of my unconsciousness.

I couldn't believe it, I couldn't believe she would do this to me. How could she? I should have known that she couldn't be true to me.

I walked inside my chamber and I could hear the noise of a pair of anklet bells that were running behind me.

"Sultan!" She entered the chamber running behind me and caught my attention.

"I don't want to talk," I said and indulge myself in packing.

I clapped two times to call an attendee.

"Sultan, Listen to me" She tried to say and I yelled.

"Is there someone or not?"

An attendee came running as I said.

"Ask a few officials to prepare presents for Ibrahim wedding and send this messa-"

"PRIVACY!!!" She said catching out attention and I looked at her.

The attendee stood confused and I diverted my gaze to him and continued.

"Ask Zeenat Begum to prepa-"

"I said, Privacy!!!"

She screamed again and I felt like killing someone.

How could she just cut what I am saying?

The attendee seemed confused and I didn't say anything further. Understanding the situation he left and I sat on the couch holding the kurta in anger.

"Sultan, I am saying something"

She said and I looked at her.

"What are you saying and what is left to say. You have made fun of my emotions"

"Sultan, that was only a joke"

I looked at her and couldn't stop myself. I stood up from the couch and threw the Kurta aside.

"What do you mean it was a joke?" I asked taking a few steps further and she took a few backs.

"I wanted you to stop drinking."

She said looking into my eyes. I could sense the fear in her eyes.

"What do you mean, you wanted me to stop drinking?" I said walking a little closer to her.

Her legs stood against a huge table when I took a few steps further and she took a few backward. She lowered her gaze a little when she realized that she couldn't move any backward.

"Umm, You behaved really bad with me last night and drunk a lot. You know its not good for your heal-"

"And you decided to play with me," I asked cutting her off.

"No," She said lifting her gaze to me.

"Then, why did you lie to me? I thought I raped you and dying out of guilt and you were making fun of it" I tried to say looking into her eyes.

I couldn't believe that she lied to me. And, what were those marks then?

"You did try it but stopped when I slapped you," She said and I realized.

"Ohh, then you slapped me too," I said taking a few steps back and realized there was so much on earth I didn't know.

Honestly, I was hurt to no extent. When the only person you started caring for, lies to you and makes fun of your weaknesses it's unbearable.

"Sultan, you are not getting me," She said and I looked at her.

"And, I don't want to," I said and moved towards outside the chamber.

I went to move towards Zeenat Chamber.

I didn't know why she lied to me and I honestly didn't care now. I hate lies and she did. There were so many other ways to try if she wanted me to stop drinking. But, the fact was she just didn't care. It was me, who was falling for her. Stupid me.

I didn't think that she cares for my feelings. She was just playing all the while and I was falling. I was too stupid to think that I forced myself on her. I was begging her for the thing I didn't even do and what she was doing. Making fun of it. Great!

I entered Zeenat's chamber and sat beside her.

She looked at me and asked.

"Are you alright?"

"Yeah, I am. How are you and baby?" I asked raking my fingers in my hair.

"We both are good, Did you fight with h-"

"Umm, We need to depart from here early morning to Ibrahim's place. I wanted you to tell your attendees whatever you want to take. Also, want to take anything special as a gift for Ibrahim's wife?" I asked cutting her off.

She understood my inconvenience of talking about it as she said.

"I will take care of it. Don't worry"

"Okay, I am in hurry. I need to prepare for visit" I said and she nodded.

I bid her goodbye and stood up to move from there.

I went back to my chamber.

She wasn't there anymore. She must have left after me.

I sat down on the couch and took out a few letters and orders to go through. I remembered that Badi Ammi also appealed to raise a word in the royal court. I got a appeal letter from her too. I somehow knew what was about to happen but I had to delay it up to Ibrahim's wedding. I decided not to conduct any court wordings until I come back from there.

The day passed on working for sometime and then conducting the packing and guidance on trip. I have ordered the attendees to pack everything overnight. So, that we could depart from here tomorrow morning and reach there by tomorrow night.

The day almost came to an end and I tried not to think about her a lot. It was better for both of us not to see each other. She hurt me and I shouldn't expect anything from her. Although I started falling for her but the feelings needs to be mutual. I guessed.

I arched my arms wide and took a breath of relaxation after finishing my work. I forced my eyes closed and placed my head over the wooden headboard of couch.

Suddenly, a faded noise of anklets coming to my chamber hit my ears. The noise was increasing as the person was reaching the chamber soon.

"Sultan,"

She called and I opened my eyes to look at her.

She was wearing the same attire of sea green color. Her face looked slightly tired and washed off. Her hair were tied in a messy bun. She was holding a huge plate of food and she bent down to keep the plate on the table.

My sight fell on her revealing back. She stood up and said.

"Sultan, have some dinner. You didn't eat lunch too."

I ignored her and stood up, walking towards my bed while saying.

"I am not hungry"

I climbed on the bed and lied pushing my head over the pillows.

She was looking at me when she took the plate in his hand and walked.

Is she leaving already?

I thought but to my surprise she walked closer to the bed and kept the plate.

"Sultan, I cooked for you. You can punish me after having it"

She said and I looked at her. My inner self smiled hearing at her but I controlled my emotions and sat up slightly asking.

"You cooked, for me?"

She nodded slowly and I looked at her.

"I forgot to wash my hands," I said showing my hands to her. It had slight marks of ink on my fingers.

She diverted her gaze to my fingers and said.

"Its okay,"

I sat peacefully when she settled the plate between us. She lowered her gaze to the food and tore a piece of bread to make a bite.

My sight fixed on her small hands when she prepared a bite and forwarded her hand to me.

I had it and my gaze noticed a few loose strands of her hair dancing on each side of her face.

Her bangles were creating a breathtaking sound whenever she move her hand along the plate and feed my mouth. She was silent and I could see that seeing me upset was something she couldn't bear.

One after the other she feed me the whole food. I ate the whole plate and still craving for me.

Her fingers messed up in the curry and she looked into my eyes.

She took her finger close to her lips and licked her finger seductively cleaning all the spice.

A small smile appeared on my face that I was trying hard to hide.

She stood up holding the plate and kept it over the table. She washed her hand in the pot around while I asked.

"Have you had dinner?"

She nodded without looking at me. She was standing facing other direction to me. My sight was shamelessly noticing her revealing back.

Her black mole and the curves getting hidden in the heavy skirt.

"It was tasty" I said and she turned slowly to look at me.

"You love food and I thought to cook for you" She said while walking slowly towards the bed.

She was looking into my eyes expecting any objection but I didn't want to.

"Sultan, I am sorry. I didn't realise that I would hurt you. I didn't mean to."
