The Love is in the Air

Sultan POV

When you don't really feel anything beating inside your body, you look normal. But suddenly when your eyes fell on someone that holds that power to race your heart in moments, you go Insane. That's what I got.

True, that I wasn't new in falling for someone but how could I describe that everything was new with her. I did love someone with my heart and soul but it's like all my organs are regenerated. They got new blood and soul.

The moment I realized she entered the hall my heartbeats raced and I could feel my blood getting warm out of feeling her presence.

"Bhaijaan, Say something"

I heard Ibrahim's voice insisting me to say something. I diverted my gaze to him slightly and I smiled.

"Sure" I muttered slowly and read it.

"Saanso ko moti banake usne dhaage me kuch is qadar piro diya,

Toote dil me jese dhankan daal dil gayi ho...

Bhare samandar me safina doob to hamari bhi rahi thi,

Lekin usne sukhaya samadar kuch is qadar jese hamari maut taal di gayi ho,"

A huge applaud was made by everyone but my sight was fixed on a person who was hiding her face under a slight veil. I didn't know but looking like at her was making me feel more craving for her.

There was a slight desire in me to sit beside her.

Suddenly, my attention caught by Ibrahim's voice.

"Gulaab Bhabhijaan, now you say something"

He insisted with slight happiness and my eyes thinned in a row.

No way, she doesn't even understand it completely.

"I think, Sultan is best enough to be heard"

She said with a slow and calm voice that made me smile and then my attention caught by Ibrahim who insisted on her one more time.

I didn't understand it, how could she say anything.

But my world stopped for a moment when I heard her slow and melodious voice saying a poem.

"It was written in my destiny to swim in the ocean of fire,

I had no boat, no shore, and that storm around!

My soul shivered countless times...

My Soul... Shivered countless times!

Ready to depart from my body all the time,

That dangerous demeanor, my heart get frightened of,

But, that stubborn heartbeat didn't leave my heart,

And that's how I crossed the ocean of hurt!"

She finished and my heart just came out of my body.

How could she say it? It was so beautiful and each word just described the situation we faced since our marriage.

When did she learn it? or she was keeping me in a lie till now?

Oh my God!

"Zehnasseb, bhot khoob"

Everyone applauded and I just came out of my chain of thoughts.

I smiled realizing that it was not a dream. There was suddenly chaos and giggles in the hall hearing her poem and I felt like sensations occurring in my chest out of proudness or maybe love.

"Gulaab, this was amazing! When did you learn it?"

The slight conversation of Zeenat and her was slightly audible to me in that noisy hall.

"Ibrahim, he taught me." She said and I shook to the core.

Ibrahim? How? When?

Suddenly, everything seems clear to me. Their long talks in the library and that curious of Begum to meet him frequently. She was learning it.

But, why didn't she ask me?

"Bhaijaan,"

I came out of my thoughts when suddenly when Ibrahim called me.

I diverted my gaze to him as he excitedly said.

"Your turn now, Show something loving."

I was still out of words but then took a few breaths to calm my rushed andreline.

I nodded and realized that my Begum was giving me tough competition and honestly I loved it to the core. Suddenly, an urge of praising her built in me, but in our chamber alone.

"Sultan, Say something, tell us your creation" I heard a few more requests and said with confidence.

"Beshak!"

I cleared my throat slightly and gulped the juice that was kept in front of me on the floor. I slightly looked around me where Ibrahim and our few more cousins and known were sitting.

I reminded a few of my works and then decided to read this.

"Ye dil galti apni fir dohrane laga hai!"

"Begum Sahiba, Daat chahenge ispe aapki"

"Begum Sahiba, want your attention on this," I said and felt a complete silence. I could feel a few ladies smiling on this when I read it continuing it.

"Ye dil... Galti apni fir dohrane laga hai,

Mohobbat ki agan ko parwan chadane laga hai...

ek baar fir ishq ki chuban mehsoos hoti hai hume,

Jab ye bebak fir kisi or chahne laga hai.."

I finished and a huge applaud made by everyone.

"BHAIJAAN, KAMAAL KAR DIYA!!! HAMARE NIKAAH KI MEHFIL ME APNE DARD -E- DIL BAYAN KAR DIYA"

Ibrahim said and I laughed.

"It's beautiful!" I heard a slow and noticeable voice of my Begum coming from the other side of the curtain.

"Ji, Shukriya Begum sahiba"

I thanked her and didn't know why my heart and cheeks were hurting by smiling hard at this moment.

"Bhot khoob Sultan, hume umeed nahi iski"

"Very nice Sultan, I didn't expect it," Zeenat said and everyone laughed.

"Bhabhijaan, now your turn. You know he is ahead of you. You have to win." Ibrahim said and I smiled.

"There is no way she can win," I said looking at Ibrahim with a jealous smile and he said.

"You just wait and watch, Bhaijaan"

I laughed slightly and looked at Begum waiting for her words.

"Ikraar ki had tak pohuchkar Inkaar kiya karte hai...

She said and I flattered. She explained that night in just four sentences. She was tremendously amazing and I couldn't stop smiling.

"Bhabhijaan, THIS IS FABULOUS...!" Ibrahim screamed and then a huge applaud made by everyone.

"Mashallah Choti Begum, I didn't expect this." Zeenat almost hugged her and I was smiling out of shock and excitement.

"Bhaijaan, Now She seems to like winning. You have to say something fiery..." Ibrahim said looking at me and I could feel the bars getting high.

"Kaafi shikayatein hai hamari begum ko humse"

"Seems like my Begum has so many complaints,"

I asked and she said slowly.

"Ji, bilkul"

She agreed and I chuckled.

"Okay then let's clear all of them,"

I said and I heard Ibrahim teasing.

"Ahhhaaaaaaa, Bhaijaan!!! read something sparkling!"

He said and I nodded slowly,

"Begum, I pray for you to God. Pay attention."

I asked and she replied.

"Ji,"

"Sarp tu to khuda mujhe chandan banake bheje,

I finished and the hall filled with a word in sync.

A huge applaud made by everyone.

"Amen!"

"Sum-a-Amen!" I muttered slowly and then I looked at Begum who was slightly looking at through the curtain and her transparent veil.

I didn't know but I was feeling out of words now. It's like she made me forgot everything. My words, my world, and my everything.

"Bhabhijaan, Ishara saaf hai ab to aap bhi izhaar kar hi dijiye"

"Bhabhijaan, the motive is clear. Now should also say what you feel" Ibrahim said looking at Gulaab and I sat smiling waiting for her reply.

I didn't know but it was like my life seem beautiful at this moment, hearing all the poetry from my begum making me feel on cloud nine.

"Sultan!"

She said slowly and I replied.

"Ji," I asked putting down the glass and looking at her.

"Please pardon if I say anything more,"

I nodded and straightened to listen to her. My heart was racing madly when I heard her.

"Nighahon me mohobbat unki yu to humne kai baar dekhi hai"

She said and I muttered.

"Bhot khoob"

I smiled and she continued.

"Nighahon me mohobbat unki... yu to humne kai baar dekhi hai,

Shaant dariya me unke aag lagte to humne kai baar dekhi hai,

Dil ki dhadkano ko unki raftaar badhte humne kai baar dekhi hai...

She took a small pause and continued with a slight high pitch.

Dikhana hai to khuda ab tu vo dikha...

Is mohobbat ke aagaz ka anjaam dikha

Dil me jo aag hai uska sailaab dikha...

Or hamare sultan ki rekhao me hamara naam dikha!

She finished and honestly I was dead.

A huge smile appeared on my face and I couldn't stop myself.

"Mashallah... very well, You asked for everything even without asking anything."

I said and everyone applauded her. They clapped and I could see the noise of excitement and praises for her in the hall.

I couldn't believe she said everything.

"Bhabhijaan... You have done magic, Now Sultan won't be able to say anything"

Ibrahim said and I laughed.

"Bhabhijaan, you have literally added stars in my wedding," Ibrahim said and I didn't know I just wanted to see Gulaab in privacy.

I just wanted to keep her close to me. Looking at Ibrahim talking to her this much making me impatient somehow.

Suddenly, an attendee came and caught our attention.

"Sultan,"

He said and I understood that he must be talking to Ibrahim.

"yeah," Ibrahim said and he continued.

"Sultan, The preparations for man's mehfil are done. You can arrive at any moment."

He finished and Ibrahim nodded looking at him. He went from there and my attention was caught by Ibrahim.

"So, Ladies you can rest now. And men, I will send you a message to you soon" he said in excitement and I could guess what was it all about.

There was chaos in the hall as all the ladies stood up including her, ready to depart from there.

"Bhaijaan, Mehfil preparation is done. Come soon fast there" I look at Ibrahim who caught my attention and I just tried to form words.

"Yeah, I will be there in some time. Soon!" I tried to convince her and without coming into notice came out of the hall.

I missed the trail of Begum as she already left from there.

Suddenly my sight fell on her, the ladies with her carrying the burning candle to see in dark night.

Without thinking twice, I moved in her direction.

I followed her until she reached her chamber. Nagma was about to shut the door when they both entered and I said slowly.

"Nagma,"

"Sultan, You here?" She said slightly loud holding the door and I said.

"Shhh, and go from here," I ordered her and she understood me. She nodded and went from there.

I entered the chamber.

I locked the door behind and raked my sight into her chamber. It was plain, slightly dark, and spacious.

It had a huge bed in the middle and then my sight fell on Begum who was standing against the mirror in front of the table still not noticing me.

I walked slowly without making any noise and my sight fell on her face through the mirror. Her gaze was down focusing on removing the heavy bangles. She placed the bangles on the table that created a giggling sound.

I snaked her waist from behind and she shivered suddenly.

She looked at me through the mirror and our eyes met.

I placed my lips on the side of my neck when she tilted her head beautifully knowing it was me.

"I have become your fan"

I muttered and I felt her smiling slowly. Her hand held my wrist when my fingers tickled her stomach unknowingly.

I kissed her neck and she blinked nervously. My lashes forced close when I deepened the kiss over her neck. I just wanted to feel her.

Her body felt slightly tilting on the other side when I put the pressure on her neck.

I could hear her racing heartbeats and wild breathing when she muttered slowly.

"Sultan!"

Her voice slow and seductive ignited a fire inside me and I turned her in an immediate move.

I pushed her slightly hovering over her. She took a step back in urgency and I snaked my arm around her waist pulling her closer. My lips touched her cheek and I placed a smooth and slightly harsh kiss.

The blood was rushing to my face as I wanted to do it at that very moment.

My hand tangled in her messy bun and her hair left open.

She moaned slowly when I kept my palm on her neck aligning it to help my lips reach her jaw.

I kissed, sucked, and almost ate her cheek. Her face turned red and she moaned loudly this time.

"Ahhhh,"

She lost her balance slightly placing her hand on the edge of the table to stand.

My lips derived to her neck and I couldn't stop myself.

"Sultan,"

He said and I remembered that night suddenly when she called me Rafiq.

"Take my name," I ordered sucking her silky and soft neck. My lips turned hungry craving for more and lowering their region.

I placed a soft kiss over her chest and she shivered. Her height was short and it took me to bent a little lower to reach her chest. She aligned her neck backwards pushing her chest a little up and I pulled her closer tightly.

"Begum, take my name," I asked and she shivered to get out of breath.

"I ca... can't Sultan" She muttered and I lifted my gaze to look into her eyes.

Her eyes soft, scared, excited and intimidating turned my desire to the next level. Her lips soft, full and pink sucking on them caught my attention.

I looked into her eyes for a moment but I couldn't divert my gaze from her lips.

She took a breath seductively and I couldn't stop myself.

I leaned into her, closer to those petals, and rubbed my thumb lightly over her lips asking.

"Say it,"

My gaze stuck on her lips when she slowly, out of breath muttered.

"Ra...Rafiq"

I couldn't hear it properly as she was slightly nervous and hot. Her cheeks blushing and begging me slowly.

"Again," I asked and those three words took my breath away.

"Sultan Rafiq Sulaiman,"

I bit on my lips and then they slowly found their way on her petals. Initiating with the softness, I deeply sucked on her lips making them tremble and swollen a little. She shivered and her hand came to cup my face following my hair.

Her finger went into my hair when I pulled her slightly up tightening my hold on her waist.

I sucked on her lips madly, the lower one, the upper one, and my throat felt slightly dry but my hunger didn't.

My tongue made the move this time licking her lips while sucking them. Her lips turned wet and soft with the continuous sucking and she got out of breath when I separated our lips for a moment.

Her soft gaze fixed on my lips when she initiated it leaning closer and placing her lips over mine.

"I love your lips so much," She muttered and I pulled her up using my strong arms. She was light in weight and I didn't feel any effort in pulling her up.

Her lips busy sucking mine madly, lost in them when I walked towards the bed.

I could see the same hunger and desire in her when I placed her feet low on the ground slowly and she protested.

She broke the kiss and made her way to my cheek.

I felt her soft lips over my cheek and then going low to my neck.

My fingers lost in the length of her hair when she was sucking on my neck giving me back that same pleasure.

I felt her teeth lightly and I hissed in slight pain.

My handheld her hair and aligned her face a little backward grabbing them lightly

She opened her eyes looking at me, her lips parted seductively and I asked slowly.

"Do you love me?"
